Patrick Tang and Rain Li were at the wishing tree in Lam Village earlier and the two wrote their wishes onto a charm in the hope that they will come true. Patrick indicates that he hopes his new album "Moving in" due out in February will do well because he has not released an album for a while now. As the release date approaches, he is becoming more and more nervous because he does not want to disappoint his long awaiting fans. Patrick says that he has put a lot of effort into this album and a whole year, so if he gets out what he put in, then it will be the best New Year present.

Rain wishes for good health and everthing to go well for her family and also hopes her own wishes will come true and her career moves smoothly. Rain has also wished for her colleagues, meaning that one charm was not enough for her to write everything on!

Rain Li and her mother attended the Chai Kung temple because this year is a conflicting year for those born in the year of the pig, so she came to offer her respects to the Tai Sui God. Rain arrived at the temple for around noon and first bought a windmill to help bring good fortune. After entering the temple, Rain followed the instructions of the temple keeper, offering incense to each buddha in the temple and then praying for a fortune stick. However Rain was a novice and two stick fell out of the tube in her first attempt and she had to try again. Rain discussed her fortune with the reader for a while before performing another ritual to raise her luck and leaving in good spirits.

Afterwards, Rain said: "Every year I will come and pay my respects to Tai Sui, even if my sign is not in conflict. From what the temple keeper says, Sandra Ng comes here every year and managed to win Best Actress with the help of the gods. As well as making offerings to Tai Sui, I have also done a ritual to remove the gossipers and raise the fortunes, so I hope that my financial luck will be better this year! Last year when I was filming, I once only slept for two hours in three days, but my health is still okay, so this year, as well as wishing for more work, I hope that my colleagues and myself will have good health, then the busier we are, the happier we are!"

During the promotion of the release of Feel 100% on televison, Rain was asked about the release of her Mandarin album, which consists of singing songs by other artists, including the late Anita Mui. Recently Raymond has been rumored to have had plastic surgery, and formerly rumored girlfriend Rain, says in his defense that he is already very handsome it would't be necessary to do that.

When first approached about this topic, Rain was quite reluctant to respond, saying, "We haven't seen each other for a long while now," but after much pestering, she takes it light-heartedly and laughs, "If we do get a chance to see each other, I'll make sure to inspect his nose to see if it's fake or not!"

But then turning more serious to the question, Rain says in Raymond's defense, "His appearance is handsome and charming, there is no need for plastic surgery." Then being told that he had plastic surgery before entering the industry, Rain replies, "I have never seen his earlier pics, maybe when there's a chance I would ask him to see the pictures."

Asking for her opinion on plastic surgery, Rain thinks that for society today, it is a common for plastic surgery, and there are constantly news on how girls will have plastic surgery to look as beautiful as Michelle Reis. Though Rain does not object to the plastic surgery, she herself believes in natural beauty, and that heart is what defines a person. Rain Li and her younger brother Kin Chung have always been very close and reports indicate that last year, Rain was heavily promoting her brother everywhere: to TVB, film companiesa and even entering him into the record companies' newcomer contests in the hope that they can work together to raise money to repay their family debts. Unfortunately, she has not been very successful and recently Rain has finally given up. Luckily, after many months of hard work, Rain herself has managed to repay her father's gambing debts of $1 million.

The reports suggest that Rain's brother was eager to enter showbiz because he saw that Rain was working so hard to make money and he wanted to help her out. He believes that life in showbiz is a quick way of making money, so he did his best to offer his sister a helping hand, but he had no success all the way. In response to this rumour, Rain says: "I did try to introduce him into showbiz, but it was just coincidendental that the film and TVB's 'Hearts of Fencing' were auditioning at the time and I know some people from the record company so I told him to give it a try. It's not that my brother really wants to enter the industry, just that when we saw the opportunity, I thought he should give it a try."

As for whether her brother wanted to help repay some of the debts, Rain says: "I have already paid back a lot, I think they should all be paid back this year. My brother has found a job now as a clerk. His salary isn't high, but it is enough and he is quite happy."

TVB's encouraging new show "Dreams of Colours" will begin airing today and yesterday, a fashion show promotion was held in a shopping mall, featuring cast members Myolie Wu, Rain Li. Sharon Chan, Claire Yiu, Stephanie Wang, Sim Lap Man and Kenneth Ma. They wore colourful outfits as they paraded the catwalk, but as most of them are not professional models, some of them caused a little chaos by heading in the wrong directions.

From some angles, Rain appeared to have rather broad thighs and it was suggested that she has put on some weight recently. Rain denied this. saying: "I currently weigh 108 lbs and I have been this weight all along, not putting on any fat. Maybe I haven't worn high heels today and the style of dress and colour of the tights make my legs look a little fatter. I will remember to put my heels on next time." Actually Rain has put a lot of effort into preparing for yesterday's event, such as having her hair done the night before and then designing her hairstyle and painting two stars onto her face that make her look especially sweet.

Talking of Myolie taking the centre position in the poster for "Dreams" and Rain only being placed at the back, she says: "It doesn't matter, the most important thing is that the character is good and the filming was happy. When I was filming for 'Feel 100%' earlier, a lot of people in the streets called my by my character name 'Fong Fong' and this gave me a great feeling of success. This time, my character is called 'Fei Fei', so I hope that people will call me by this name in the street. I don't really care about any other things and I am confident this character will leave a good impression with the viewers."

hmm, i think that Rain and Sharon do look alike. but i think Sharon's prettier while Rain has more of a mature and elegant look =] which isn't bad!



Rain Li is busy making money to keep her family and after making her TV series and also recent film "I wanna be a model", she has started recording on her next Mandarin Album. Earlier, Rain was signed for a seven figure sum to be a spokesperson for a cosmetics company for two years and in order to tie in with the company's whitening products, Rain wore a pure white outfit for the shoot and the sponsors also spent a six-figure sum on the set to provide Rain with a large pool for Rain to film in. The hardest thing for her was that she had to stand in the water for over ten hours and afterwards, Rain complained that her legs had become all wrinkly. However, the sponsors looked after her well and the next day instructed for a consignment of beauty products to be sent to Rain to use on her legs!

At yesterday's event, Rain Li met up with her two former rumoured boyfriends Raymond Lam and Alex Fong (Lik San) but her attitudes to them both were very different. To Alex, she was friendly and amicable, chatting happily to him, but towards Raymond she seemed rather hostile as she joked that he was breaking into a sweat being next to her. When the time came for the blessing ceremony, Raymond made his excuses and walked away awkwardly.

When he was asked as to why he was evading Rain, Raymond denied this, saying: "Why would I evade her? We are both very open about things." When he was asked to have a photo taken with her he responded: "What? Again? Let me wipe my sweat away first." No feelings, we would say hello to each other when we met in the company." Raymond appeared to be sporting some scratches on his neck and he explained that he was suffering from allergies.

As for Rain, when she saw him with so much sweat, she joked: "It is very hot, wipe your sweat first!" When asked how she felt about her 'big brother' Raymond, she says: "We're friends, but we haven't been in touch for a long time. It's quite spooky, I only said a little earlier that we lack the destiny to meet and then the heavens immediately arrange for us to bump into each other. Next time I wont talk about destiny, I'll talk about the lottery in the hope I will win! (Will you work with Raymond again?) Rain Li, Myolie Wu and Tse Kwan Ho were promoting their new show "Dreams of Colours" at a radio show yesterday.

With her former rumoured boyfriend Raymond Lam breathing a sigh of relief upon hearing news of her new dates, Rain Li responded to Raymond saying that he sees her as a little sister by laughing that he has a lot of 'little sisters' and lots of 'big sisters' as well. She says that she has made many good friends through her work and she hopes that Raymond is a good friend of hers too. She indicates that if they see each other they will not avoid one another, but they haven't had this opportunity lately, so maybe they lack the destiny to meet.

Rain's rumoured date Siu Ding Yat says he does not mind being described as 'fat and short' and when she hears this, Rain laughs out loud and says that she doesn't feel he is fat or short. She also does not feel he is pursuing her as to her the chances of them having a relationship are slim. Rain says that if she likes someone she will fall in love at first sight, but she does not have any special feelings for Siu. When the reporters suggest that feelings can be developed, she replies that if feelings have to be developed then that is not love.

When her other rumoured boyfriend Ding Chi Ko was mentioned, Rain's reaction was more agitated and she says that this person has disappeared from her dictionary and she will even blank him out with correction fluid. She feels that these rumours are very pointless and she has not dated anyone at all but they make her out to be a third party. She emphasises she has not been in touch with this person for a long time time, but he has sought her to receive no reply. She feels that the news is too strange and she is just a simple person and does not want to complicate matters, otherwise it will make her dizzy.

a breif summary of what happened with Rain:
in this episode, Sharon said that she didnt want to use Myolie's designs and told Myolie to trash them but Myolie spent a lot of time on them. then the boss comes down and Rain makes up a lie and says that Sharon said that Myolie's designs were great but they didnt have room for two more designs. the boss takes a look at Myolie's designs and agrees to take them so Rain and Myolie are happy.
when Sharon finds out, she gets mad because all along, she's hates Myolie and conveys the boss not to use Myolies designs, which in turn makes the boss agree with Sharon. so, Rain gets mad and she quits and becomes a model

TVB will be holding another special show on Sunday in the build up to the Olympic Games entitled "Lighting of the Flame Thundering Night" and there will be many special guest singers and artistes present on the night, including Leon Lai, Ekin Cheng, Miriam Yeung, Hacken Lee and Nancy Sit along with the usual group of Olympic Stars and over three thousand members of the public.

In order to mark the event, a press conference was held yesterday and was attended by the event MC's Carol Cheng, Chin Ka Lok and Vincent Kuk. Also at the promotion were Edmond Leung, Leo Ku, Don Li, Rain Li, Raymond Lam, Shirley Yeung, Sammul Chan and Bosco Wong. On stage, they each took turns to play games such as walking the beam. When Edmond mounted the beam, Chin Ka Lok joked: "You have to pass an alcohol detection test before you can do sport! You appear to have been a good boy this time and seem to be wide awake!" When Edmond heard this, he did a one-legged stance as well as a cartwheel, really putting his all into the game.

Rain Li and Raymond Lam both took part in the event, but Raymond arrived half an hour late. When Rain was told that her 'friend' would soon be arriving, she asked which friend. When the press indicated it was Raymond, she did not respond and Sammul, who was sitting beside her immediately said: "The one who has been eating the 'bread of life', has he offered you any?" When she heard this, Rain raised her hand to hit him.

When Raymond arrived, he was arranged to sit in the row in front of Rain, but with the crowds of press surrounding them, Raymond understood their wishes and sat next to Rain for everyone to take photos. In response to Sammul and Bosco's laughter, Rain said: "They are messing about, so they immediately jumped away. (Are you embarrassed?) No, actually I find it quite amusing, like an amusement park, bringing you all laughter. (Will you be avoiding Raymond?) We are just working and we will meet again through our work, we don't have any deep hatred!" As for Raymond sitting down next to her, she says she was a little shocked because it was unexpected. When it was mentioned that mainland actress Yang Xue had uncovered the story of the split between Rain and Raymond, Rain says: "I don't know her, maybe he has another girlfriend. (Have you and Raymond ever dated?) Definitely not!"

When Raymond was asked whether he felt awkward seeing Rain, he laughed that he hadn't, otherwise he would not have sat next to her to let the press carry out their work. When asked whehter he had dated Rain, he returned the question: "What do you think? (We think you did...) In the show we dated. (But Yang Xue says you have split up?) Not at all! I didn't really talk to her much. (Yang Xue seems attracted to you and seems jealous when she talks about the split between you and Rain?) She is a good actress, but I don't feel she is attracted to me, maybe I am a bit slow on this front!"

Rain Li has recently revealed that she received sexually provocative text messages from a male colleague when she first joined TVB and filming a Father's Day special yesterday with former rumoured boyfriend Alex Fong Lik San yesterday, there was immediate suspicion over whether he was the culprit. In order to put things right, Alex immediately pointed out: "The naughty text messages were nothing to do with me!"

Alex points out that he has never sent any or received any: "I daren't send these things because people can easily keep copies. What if I ended up like Beckham? If I had to send them, I would send really sweet messages and they would be okay, of course they wouldn't be over the top, but if this was to chase a girl, it would become a nuisance." As for being pulled innocently into this matter, Alex says that he was rather worried when he saw his name on the report as this may affect his reputation: "When I saw my name mentioned, it was a very big effect on me because I was worried that people would be guessing it was me. (So have you been asking Rain who this person was?) No, but everyone has their ideas."

Rain also returned Alex his innocence: "Alex would not send these things to me. (But Alex suggests we should know who it was?) I haven't said but he is very smart, so if he guesses who it is, then it is him. (With this revelation, will you be scaring off potential romances?) If someone is genuine, they would not send these thing, only the players would do this." As for what would happen if they had to work together and play a couple, what would she do? She immediately responded: "We haven't seen each other for a while now, if we are working, then there will be no embarrassment, I just have to be careful if we are to play lovers and try not to get too close."

Apart from this, Rain indicates that she has already taken her father and family out to dinner for Father's Day, but she did not buy him a present. However she denies that this is to save money: "I usually buy them whatever they want anyway."

i think that she's kinda annoying there, but not as annoying as in dreams of colour, i feel like she's playing the same role/character in both and i find that kinda sad because hopefully that doesn't mean that she's already type-cast as a certain character, and this also doesn't give her another opportunity to expand her talent into other roles

it's cute though, i'm pretty much assuminig that she's gonna end up with the rich kid since they're always arguing, but i think that she would pair up even cuter with the guy that likes to bargain stuff
