Ooh Dong Bang Shen Gi is a boyband from SM Entertainment. When Shinhwa leaves SM Entertainment, SM Entertainment formed a new group and the new group is Dong Ban Shen Gi. Somebody say they are a replacement of Shinhwa. But everybody has his/her own opinion.

Jaejoong's parents owns a restaurant in ChoongNam KwangJoo. JaeJoong went through lots of hardship. In our group, there is a member who gets support from girls who were former Miss Koreas. Why? Because Joonsu's mom is a former Miss Korea. I guess Joonsu got his pretty and delicate looks from his mom.
Joonsu was known in his junior high years to be a good singer. In the morning gatherings, when Joonsu sang the school song, it went through the speakers and was heard by the whole school. But Joonsu wanted to be a athlete. He was in the baseball and soccer team and he stills likes sports now. But after he saw H.O.T on TV, his dream was to "sing on stage".

Is an important figure that brightens up the mood and atmosphere with his funny personality. Perhaps he couldn't hide his talent even when he was little, for he won the highest award at the Korean/American Music Contest and the KBN Music Contest for young adults. Is very interested in composing and wrote over 100 songs, and the members personally like his song the best out of the ones the members composed. Joined the team last year and left his family in America, and he admits that he sometimes misses driving around New York. But he says that this moment, right now, is the happiest of his life.

Micky Yoochun who gave up his U.S Citizenship~

Micky Yoochun's English is pretty good. Its because he lived in the states when he was Young. Yoochun immigrated to Virginia where his uncle lived when he was in elementary school (6th grade). In 2001, at a song festival, he won the daesang and started to spread his name around. Last Year in a Youth music festival, he recieved a special award and because of that, he caught one of SM's recruiting teams attention.
Yoo Chun's piano skills and song writing skills are great. He has written over 100 songs now. He has good taekwondo skills too. In elementary school he represented the state's taekwondo team and performed with them on 'Children's day".
Micky Yoochun who has lots of talents, recently announced that he gave up his U.S citizenship. It was to concentrate on his singing career. In order to keep up with the U.S citizenship he has to go to the states 2 or 3 times in a year. So it would be hard to peform in Korea all the time. Yoochun has announced that when he becomes an adult, he is going to join the army with DBSG members.

Yunho is the oldest in the group. As he particpated in the church choir he has the position of the base(the lowest note in male group) in the group. Yunho had a hard time becoming a singer. Just by looking at his face, it seems he grew up without any hardship right? Not, before he became a singer, 3 years ago, he left his home at GwangGoo and went to Seoul because he wanted to become a singer. From this time, he prepared to become a singer with YoungWoong Jaejoong. Since both of their circumstances weren't good they did part-time jobs at law schools and saunas and practiced hard.

ChoiKang Changmin, whose high note is outstanding

The youngest of our group Choikang Changmin is a crybaby. When his singing goes wrong he cries. But he has a brave side to him too. Starting from elementary school in 6th grade, he delivered newspapers as a part-time job.
Changmin is the youngest in the family and group but noone can complete against his singing. His high note is so outstanding that he doesn't know what octave it goes up to. He says that hes worries that if he knows it might interrupt his singing.
Changmin is a quiet person and doesn't talk very much. In an interview, he only says 2 or 3 things in the end. Changmin is a clear person who reads the Harry Potter Series and tells everyone about it. He particpated in a singing contest and won an award. That led him to be a singer but before that he was regular student.

OMG, i had no idea they were all so young! lol, i dunno why, but that's shocking news to me. i thought they were all in their early twenties. haha, the younger the better.

i'm a big fan of Shinhwa, but i don't consider DBSG as a copycat of them. they might seem like a replacement, but i think they both have different styles of music. but i'll have to firmly determine that later, because i started listening to DBSG very recently. (aka 2 days ago) the first song i listened to by them was 'The Way You Are'. i luff that song. <3 i've taken a liking to Yun Ho...which will probably turn into obsession later, haha.

and question: is it DBSG or DBSK? i've seen it both ways...are they both correct?

i think the album is pretty good as well but it's receiving a lot of criticism from everyone including some fans. some think TRI-ANGLE is a poor imitation of H.O.T's aheeyah (sp?). i actually like TRI-ANGLE because it shows that dbsk is capable of more than just mere kpop music.

Jae Joong's hair reminds me of Vic Zhou's hair in Meteor Garden, lol. they're almost the exact same hairstyle.

AHH! I love DBSK. I love The Way U Are, Whatever They Say, Miduyo and Track 10 from Tri-Angle (can't type it, cause I dunno how to type korean >__<). I <333 Changmin!! He's so cute and adorable. The Tri-Angle look still isn't growing on me.. maybe because JaeJoong is like one of my favourites and he looks like a girl with all that hair.. But I LOVE THEM!! There is a rumor that DBSG is going to change members

Here's some information:

DBSG "We are not adding a team member or switching one..."

On the 19th, DBSG released a 3rd storybook that caused a lot of chaos. The fans read a story about 'DBSG member change' in the storybook and complained that it was true but that scandal was confirmed to be false.

DBSG's company SM Entertainment said "DBSG who is composed of 5 members, YoungWoong, ChoiKang, Xiah, Micky and Yunho are not going to break up. We are not going to add members or switch members now or in the future. DBSG is going to be the same as now."

'DBSG member change' scandal started in Fan cafe due to DBSG's storybook's topic. Fans read the story and thought it was possible for a member change. Cassopeia fanclub and other dbsg fans in different internet fancafes and sites argued whether this scandal was true or not, having the storybook story as proof and in the end decided that the scandal was true.

The story had 2 assumptions. First 6 members of one team were gonna be added to the 5 present dbsg members and create new dbsg group. 2nd, "It is possible that we are going to join our friends that are training right now (HyukJae, Sungmin, Hweechul, JongYoon, Kibum and ShiWon) and perform together." These assumptions were the cause of this scandal.

Regarding this scandal SM Hwang SungYook said "The team that is training now has nothing to do with DBSG. They are another team thats going to debut with a new name around next year." Another rumor in the storybook is that when DBSG performs in China or other countries, they will add a member from that certain country.

The fans said "When DBSG performs all over asia, for example China, they are going to add a chinese member."

SM said "When DBSG performs in China or the US, we were just thinking on how it would be if we called one member from that certain country to perform with them. But we never actually planned it out. We hope the fans won't take this seriously."

The fanclub hasn't recieved SM's official notice so they still think all of this is true. SM entertainment is trying to find a way to solve this issue.

Fans are already supporting dbsg by saying "DBSG is only 5 members" and have created a site for them (http://www.only5tvxq.com). in this site lots of fans are saying to boycott whatever SM plans to do.
