Synopsis: As a highly-regarded chef in the HK and Chinese culinary world, Madame To wants her son SK (Hacken) to marry Jade (Lau Yeung), daughter of another equally respected chef to form an alliance and create a formidable catering empire in HK and the Mainland. SK however, rejects his mother’s proposal and falls in love with Ceci (Charmaine), who is unskilled in cooking. SK eventually takes Ceci home to see his mother, whom insists that she would only consent to Ceci marrying SK if Ceci can cook as well as Jade. Challenged to a duel, Ceci becomes the pupil of Lady Green, another renowned chef and ex-girlfriend of Ceci’s father. The story progresses to a tantalising climax as Ceci and Jade face off in the ultimate cooking competition. Who shall emerge winner and will SK and Ceci overcome all odds to be together?

i just watched it! just came back from the cinema xD
this movie is hilarious! it's so exaggerating how charmaine and liu yang used qi gong to heat up the food haha! i also love the part when the kidnappers used the names of the celebrities like sammi cheng, miriam, eason, ronald etc haha! it's so darn dunny xD
the chemistry between charmaine n hacken is ok but i wouldnt say it's the best..
but i can c that this movie isnt that popular in singapore as when i watched it just now, there were only 8 audiences including me and my 4 friends. 8 audiences. 8 only.. can you imagine how empty the theater is?
anyway, i thought this movie isnt the worse one i had seen. it's ok, it really makes me laugh xD

I have seen the movie in the cinemas. Not very amazing or attractive.
But still it's not a bad movie. After all, Hacken and Charmaine have the chemistry between them which makes the movie adorable.
The effects for the movie are illogical but which food movie or drama is not illogical. Anyone agree with me?
It is a pleasant movie but don put too much hope in it.

This movie actually sounds good. Usually it is weird to see TVB actors in movie, but Charmaine has done other movies in the past and so I think she should do quite well.

I thought this movie with Charmaine and Hacken was pretty good... It seems soo awkward on how Charmaine and Hacken got together but I liked how Charmaine was dressed in the series.. I thought the computerized parts were very interesting when they used internal power to cook.. I didn't think its possible in real life though.. The other girl (rich girl) got on my nerves.. I mean why she have to be all that and want to go with Hacken for?? I didn't think she liked Hacken that much.. I think she just wants to win...

The movie is good for one time, you may find this movie weak, but it's good for a laugh though.

I have never seen Hacken and Charmaine together, as some has said that they look weird, to be honest, the looked OK together.

The plot could have been better, but the title reminds me of Stephen Chow's God Of Cookery and it's also about cooking. Also, the cast is partly from Kung Fu Mahjong 2.

i think this movie is kinda fake... with those effects, the qi gong. If you are looking for a comedy movie you can give this a try though.

i like this movie even with its crappy ending, it was really funny throughout the whole thing. i would give it a rating of 8.5 out of 10.

This looks sort of like an interesting movie to watch because it has Charmaine in it. I have not seen any of her movies ever since I have seen Blue Moon, but that movie came out in 2001. It's interesting to see her appear in a movie again with a lead role. I guess they are capitalizing on her popularity after she won the Best Actress award at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

I actually thought this movie was pretty terrible. It had good acting, but the storyline/script was so beyond ridiculous, it couldn't even be saved by the actors.
