When i see her attend promos & live shows she is always dress down, very casual. I like her style. Then i read her bio data & found that she is also extremely smart, studied law and speaks german. Wow!

第10届台北电影节昨晚颁奖，「绯闻男女主角」钮承泽（豆导）、张钧甯昨晚以《情非得已之生存之道》拿下影帝、影后，钮承泽从影33年第一次拿奖兴奋不已，当众对「女主角」张钧甯又亲又搂。百万首奖则由《海角七号》夺得，连拿3个重要奖项面子、里子十足，堪称最大赢家。
台北电影节颁奖典礼昨晚在中山堂扩大举办，10年来首次颁发个人等共15个奖项，从影33年的钮承泽勇夺影帝，上台致辞时他激动得以「你们最屌」感谢评审，他曾经入围金马奖、金钟奖各3次，经过6次扛龟后，他原本以为这生只能拿「终身成就奖」，没想到昨一连拿到「观众票选奖」和影帝大奖。
他兴奋对张钧甯说：「谢谢你在这部电影中的贡献，如果没有你，这部电影不会这麼成功！」并开心说要把10万元奖金一半捐出去、一半拿来做电影交流的费用，「最佳导演」奖项则由《冏男孩》的杨雅喆抱走。
张钧甯昨进场时笑说是来「看热闹」的，结果她拿下生平第一个演员大奖，意外得说不出话来，到了后台，她才回神一一感谢钮承泽和工作人员，当然她也不忘向心仪的导演侯孝贤招手，她说：「我好想拍侯导的电影哦！」
当颁奖人徐若瑄说她不计酬劳演侯孝贤电影时，她也赶紧表明：「我也可以不计酬劳。」评审刘若英也建议台北电影节增设男女配角奖，她愿意自掏腰包赞助。

^Gosh, I didn't know she was nominated but I don't think she won the award...if I'm not mistaken Mei Fang won it for Orz Boyz...doesn't matter, she still has chance in the future ...I'm beginning to love her acting more and more after watching The Hospital, HnC and Wayward Kenting...now I'm waiting for Black and White (just decide to watch this coz of her, don't really like the male lead lol)...

Janine Chang soaks in freezing cold water; imagines it to be Summer

Upcoming drama ‘Black & White’ finally finished filming last week after 9 months. Director Tsai Yueh Hsun, who likes challenges, even the last scene had a high degree of difficulty. In this scene, he arranged for female lead Janine Chang to jump into a drain near the dock in the middle of the night, to avoid the bad guys.

In the drama, Janine plays the role of a forensic officer(?). The material of her uniform is quite thin, and she would go into the water without wearing cold-resistant clothing; indeed very brave. She laughed: “In my brain, I imagine it to be Summer right now, this way I won’t feel as cold.” However, when she got out of the water, she was so cold that her whole body was shivering, and her teeth were chattering, hence the workers rushed to make a fire to help her warm up.

Janine is brave enough to do the scene. i can't wait for Black and White.

Yes, Wayward Kenting will airing in China next month starting Jan 5th...not sure how popular Janine in there but I hope she'll gain more popularity and fame there...she deserve that anyway...people have to open their eyes for this talented female artist...

HAZEL, where were you? lol...if I remember correctly you said Janine and Eddie already recorded their own song for Clover band album in Joe's thread...wonder how her singing since she only sang a bit for HnC ost; the blessed of clover...sad to hear they have to postpone the project...but I guess that their own good...maybe they could practice more...and should be understood are pretty busy with their own projects
