The picture of Katie a guest posted up is really awful. She doesn't look like the description of Cho Chang at all. Honestly, some of my friends look better than her.

She actually looks alright here. She may not be pretty to me in msot picstures, but she could be fine in the movie, looks wise. Not even uncludign the acting, which is very important.

I didn't imagine her havign a sex appeal, but rather, I pictured her as they described in hte book. Short, beautiful with freckles. This par tis opinion wise- And from the way she acted, sweet, not cute. Another thing that surprises me, she is 5'5 and doesnt have any freckles.

She said that she doesn't want it for a career. and about the whol representing asian beauty thing. she isn't going to to that. she is going to represent british asian teenbeauty who can also act. so in a way seh does represent the role. just look at the pictures that i posted up of her in hte movie, which is what is really important-how she portrays cho in the movie. she looks better there.

I used to hate her because the first few pictures of her were ugly (her in the uniform, her at that premiere or whatever) but now she looks better, so she's okay.

Guess that they decided to put Cho in a cheong sam...definitly trying to emphasize her ethnocity I suppose (they did that with Teh twins in saris too) but they didnt do that with fleur or seamus finnigin....
Looks wise, I thinkt aht she looks better with the makeup, but she isn't like really really pretty or beautiful with the makeup to me. She looked average before, and quite pretty with those cosmetics. That and she isnt short with freckles (cho is supposed to be). But acting also matters, so she could be a good Cho. That and I am not going to really judge if she is going to be gorgeous in the movie or not, because it isnt out yet. She cuold be really pretty in real life, who knows.

Yeah she didn't fit with what I envisioned when I read the book either. That having been said, she obviously did something right and landed the part. So even is she didn't look the part as so many agree to, she could definitely act the part.

yeah..cho chang describtion in the book..she's suppose to be slim..when that's teh picture in the head..not round face..no offense..but taht prove how bad the director much be to pick her as cho chang..i mean casting in also an important element when making a movie..especially if it's based on something else that's already known my the community...so disappointed when my friend posted me her pics..a while a go...so so disappointed

THey never said taht Cho Chang was suppsed to b e slim in teh face, shes got a skinny figure at least (I think that it would be ok if she wasnt like extremly skinny, but here, she looks really skinny, like compare her to that olsens pic, they both have the same shape, even tho ashely is shorter) But Cho is supposed to be short with freckles....and she is tall without freckles. She looks alright in some pics.

I actually think that Katie Leung is very attractive; she has nice hair and nice lips. I seriously cannot believe someone said that she's chubby; she's not a bit chubby! I feel outraged that people have hate sites about her before she's even done anything. I imagine that the Katie Leung haters are just silly teenyboppers in love with Daniel Radcliffe. It's rather shallow, and people shouldn't insult her on the Internet, because it's very offensive and narrow-minded. My advice to anyone who hates Katie Leung is as follows: Grow up.

I don't think that shes very attractive, shes average to me, and with excellent lighting and makeup, she looks quite pretty. Most of her pics are so airbrushed, I can hardly see her face. Like that one of her on top with the costume, it looks pretty good, but I can barely see her nose. But I don't find her to be hideous, and the movie is so close, I am not jealous, I hardly even care about the fact that I don't think that shes really pretty anymore.

Anyways, heres a clip her, and is is speaking cantonese inn it, she is saying, I'm 18, I dont think that she knows Cantonese, it has a strong Scottish accent too. Whatever, no big deal.

I love her hair. It looks so pretty, all smooth, straight, and shiny. She looks natural too. I don't think she's ugly, and I can't see why people would say she's ugly. You can say she's average, yeah, but not ugly. The only problem is she looks a little bit too old for Daniel. Man, I want to watch this movie so bad. 11 more days?

shes not that bad...and i agree that she looks pretty in chengsom... other parts she looks alrite but tahts what shes supposed to be...shes just a normal ordinary girl and stuff. i dont think she did bad as cho chang but her accent was wierd...

OK, so I am totally neutral. In my other posts, Ide fended her with pictures and stuff. And from different articles I read, tehy preferred a Scottish girl, so that was a big reason why she is Cho, and tahts fine, they wanted diversity.

I just watched Harry Potter and have to say I was little surprised. What is it with all the nags and jealousy of Katie Leung, her role was like tiny smallie tinily tiny in the movie, SPOILER.........................and Harry didn't even succeeded at asking her to the ball in the movie.. Geez, they didn't have any relationship at all during the movie, besides a few stares and a quick dialogue scene. Makes me wonder why any girls would get jealous of her

Because she is going to have a bigger role in the next movie. It doesnt matter anyways. She has the role no matter what...

I don't know how people can say she's ugly, she looks like a typical mainland chinese girl with adequate features and figure. I was kinda surprised that her dialogue was so limited... only one scene. I mean, you see her all the time along with all the other extras and some scenes where Harry looks at her. I was expecting to be more but then again, there were many more important characters who didn't have that much scenes. I didn't expect her to have that voice and that accent when she spoke. I could barely understand her, but she did ok with the role. The only part I don't like is when she cried at the end for Cedric. It looked weird, but she should have more scenes in the next movie so hope she improves.

I don't know what's the big deal is commenting on her look! I gotta admit, I imagined Cho Chang to be a little bit different than Katie, but she's alright! She is not exotically beautiful, but she is not ugly either!! I think people should stop with this jealousy hype and enjoy the movie!
