Love includes many things, and touched is one. I've never thought of accepting Bing Yee, i've always just regarded her as a very good friend. I don't want to hurt her, so i just let her off easily. Who knew that she did not give up on me. All the energy and determination she sacrificed took me out of the dump. I can't say whether i'm logical or awake, it's jsut reasonable to realize that she should be the one i cherish the most, blindingly trying to turn graditude into love. However, i just cannot refuse her anymore, or dodge her energy. I tell myself, this will be the last time i will hurt her. Even though i cannot ever love someone like i used to, i will try my best to love her. I can't promise that we'll be together forever. But the least i know is that i won't hurt her again, won't disappoint her. I don't want and won't let her shed another tear for me.

WAHHHH! Zhen Pong is finally "thawed" by Bing Yee! LOL i guess i should be happy that he's finally picked himself up and Bing Yee really is a nice girl. HOWEVER, Charray is still THE only couple for me! It's evident in the entry that Pong himself said, he does not love Bing Yee, but rather, lying to himself to try and trick himself into the illusion of loving her out of gratitude. He feels he has already hurt her too many times and when a guy is at the lowest point in his life, he will just turn to about anyone who's willing to hear him out...kind of like a "replacement"? What he doesn't realize is that in the long run, it will not only hurt Bing Yee but himself as well. He could lie to Bing Yee, lie to his family, lie to his friends, lie to the world...but he cannot lie to himself. Sau Fung is still the only one that he loves; the love of his life, his ONE & ONLY. He even admitted that he "cannot ever love someone like he used to" He still cannot let her go; his brain can lie, but his heart won't. Man, what a painful love triangle! LOL!

Jupi: LOL we can be The Two Charray-teers! (like the Three Musketeers but WAYYY cooler and crazier! Haha!) *does a crazy little dance* I listen to the song every night before i go to sleep and every time it would bring me to almost-tears. It's very powerful and emotional and just fits SO darn well with the series!! Absolutely love it to pieces. I rewatched the QQ interview (AGAIN! LOL!) and wow...just gotta say that Charray's chemistry is OFF THE ROOF! Gosh, and i don't think i'm being TOO biased here, their chemistry truly is just INCREDIBLE. Haha couldn't help but notice they kept sitting closer, and closer, and closer.... And wow, they kept finishing off each other's sentences like a true couple (it's a live chat so i'm pretty sure it hasn't been rehearsed) And that little "secret hand signal" thing was just a dead giveaway as to how close (and intimate!) their relationship must be. Ooooh and i swore that when the host asked Charm about if she had any potential boyfriend in mind, Ray was looking rather hopeful :dede: LMAO! (or it could just be my crazy imagination..but i'll never admit it! LOL!) AND, when the host asked Ray whether he had any feelings for Charm, instead of saying outright "No" he said "I won't tell you." Hmmmmm.....
Awww thanks. First week of school just ended and i'm already beat. I guess...i just kinda flip out every year at the start (the usual "omg-i-think-i'm-gonna-fail-'cause-i-don't-remember-anything" ritual LOL) Aiii just my biology teacher, really weird and doesn't teach much...just assigns random work so he can go out of the class and walk around for half an hour :lame: (my last 2 science teachers were about the same - can't teach if their life depended on it...guess i'm just unlucky lol) But Charray will get me through! just finished watching up to ep42 of DOL.. i just really hated seeing Charmaine and RAymond not together because of a misunderstanding... and Raymond with Myolie (although i do like Myolie as an actress) but Raymond doesnt love her in the same way he does with Charmaine.. very obvious.. anywho.. at least they are going to get back together soon..!! i really find the character blogs so interesting to read.. i remember reading Sau Fung's one saying something like her love turning into hate so however much she love's Pong she will hate him that much or something like that.. cant remember exactly..

i found that when i watch DOL Charmaine and Raymond bring out this feeling.. when i watch all their sad bits and bits when they get back together i get a weird feeling inside of me.. like butterflies in my stomach or something.. their chemistry is undeniable.. u can really see that they really really loved each other during their filming.. I think Charmaine and Raymond really do have sparks which makes them such a great match... i think the last time i had this weird feeling was during PONR with Chilam and Charmaine.. and also in DIF4 with Jessica and Louis.. only couples with true chemistry can bring that feeling out to the audience.. thus Charray have it going on!!!

How did you manage to watch episode 42 already? I finished episode 40 yesterday and I simply can't wait for episode 41 where Sau Fung slaps Bing Yee.
I agree, Raymond doesn't actually love Myolie. I think he's just feeling grateful. Myolie has after all helped him through many problems and been there for him, so it's only natural to feel grateful. In his heart he knows that no one can ever replace Charmaine.

AhSi: Haha, you're welcome! Nahhh it's just that i've went to Chinese school ever since i was 3 years old (time to thank the 'rents! lol!)...but i'm no expert. =)
I TOTALLY agree with you; everyone has their own preferences and are entitled to the freedom of expression and opinions. HOWEVER, people often take that as a free-for-all and think they can just bash other people's idols, thinking that will show the world how "good/loyal" of a fan they are. Well, news flash to those people: there's something called r-e-s-p-e-c-t and there's something called a limit.

Jupi: Hi, my fellow Charray-teer! I so agree with you! Pong just shouldn't have started a relationship with Bing Yee, period. He should've known better; he fully knew that the one he loves and will ONLY love is Sau Fung. Yes, Bing Yee had done a lot for him and had always been by his side, supporting him, but that does not justify or mean that he should accept her even though he cannot ever truly love her. He doesn't want her to shed another tear for him, yet what he is doing is deliberately hurting her more in the long run. Gratitude does not equal love; they're too completely separate things. However, i think Bing Yee also subconsciously knows that Sau Fung has never left Pong's heart and that Pong can never truly love her, yet she herself chooses to be temporarily "loved". I guess that's the thing; there is no who's right or who's wrong or who sacrificed more or who's more worthy. Love is just love; sweet, yet inexplicable and mind-blowingly complicated. *bittersweet is feeling very philosophical right now ROFL!*

Yeah, i (once again LOL i swear we think alike!) agree with you! Teachers are so important; they're the ones who will have the most contact with the kids and are the youth suppose to be "the future"? People should be teachers only if they're passionate about teaching and truly want to share their knowledge and empower the youth. Not for the money or for any other unrelated reason. LOL they should have a "Passion-For-Teaching" detector and use it when they hire new teachers! That way students will be guaranteed with good, passionate teachers who just love teaching! :dede:

BTW does anyone have news/new pics on Charray? It seems like we're not hearing much about them lately. And i think there's even a rumor (which i think is ridiculous) that TVB might cut DOL to only 50eps if the ratings don't pick up. What happened to all the promotion events that the cast is suppose to go to? I remember HOG had like a TRILLION of them! (i swore i thought they'd start putting up posters in washroom stalls)
I miss seeing Charray together...need some new pics of them together to ogle over!

I was just at Pong's blog and i'm a little sad with his latest entry; seems like he is "recovering" fairly quickly. Okay, okay, i know i should be happy that Pong is recovering but the idea that he is moving on just makes me wanna cry. It especially pisses me off that people have left comments on his blog telling him to "cherish Bing Yee and forget about Sau Fung because Bing Yee won't hurt him and that Sau Fung is the one who's wrong". Yes, Bing Yee is nice (almost too nice i must say) and Sau Fung has hurt Pong a lot, but there are reasons behind her actions and love is not something as simple as...say, math. 1+1 does not always equal 2 in life. We must distinguish between love and gratitude because those two are often merged in the gray areas and one wrong decision can lead to hurting many many people. And sometimes, who's right or who's wrong doesn't seem so important anymore, because common' everyone has done something wrong in this picture: Pong for accepting Bing Yee, Bing Yee for dating Pong even though she fully knows he still loves Sau Fung, and of course, Sau Fung for letting revenge blind her...etc. etc.. That's life to ya, i guess. LOL.
I've translated some comments i found on Pong's blog that i just wholeheartedly agree with:

Sau Fung actually never forgot about you; you're still her only. It's just that she has a very extreme personality, oblivious to the fact that she has made a huge mistake. Ever since leaving you, she has been the same as you, living in hell, no one caring about her, because as you know, she has no friends other than you and her mother. Sorry but they're just better off as friends. [no offence to Myolie fans though] In truth, Raymond has chemistry with all his co-stars (same w/Charmaine), male and female, but IMO, his chemistry with Charmaine is just unbeatable and clearly stands out among others.

Learning to let go will allow me to move on. Even though it's easy to say, yet much harder to do, i've at the very least took the first step, once again learning to live. I've returned to Wah Geet, as well as starting to date Bing Yee. Inside, all my emotions have calmed down; i am calm. Even though i don't have much excitement nor anticipation, i only wish to be able to step back onto the road of life and live peacefully and securely. Poor Pong, you can tell he is trying to grasp back onto life just because he doesn't want his family and friends to worry about him anymore. Yet inside, he is still very much hurting. LOL yeah i know, i'm REALLY crazy about this couple. Usually in every series/show/drama you'll be rooting for at least one specific couple/pairing and i, like everyone else, have been there done that. Yet, i've never really been this crazy about an on screen couple as Zhen Pong+Sau Fung. But Raymond and Charmaine have just truly touched hearts with their superb acting and incredible chemistry, truly bringing the characters Wah Zhen Pong and Wing Sau Fung and their amazing love relationship alive before our eyes. Go Charray + PongFung!!

i really enjoy reading the character blogs and what ppl have to say about Pong and Fung... most people have an indepth understanding of their relationship and the situation they both r in.. and know the reason why Fung chose revenge over Pong..

i truly think that Charmaine and Raymond r seriously great on screen couple.. not many couples can pull off what they have going on in DOL.. i was thinking if they get someone else to play Pong and Fung with the same storyline will it have the same effect that Charmaine and Raymond brings out.. and honestly.. asides from the fact i like them.. i cant think of anyone else that can portray such a great job like them.. in some series its like.. "Awww they got together..." but theres no strong feeling attached... but i really dont know what it is... when Charmaine and Raymond r on screen together its they bring out this sort of feeling.. especially the bit when Pong told Fung to stab him in the alleyway and the second time they got back together.. just have a funny feeling in my heart (hahah.. i sound so cheesy...) proves that they have great chemistry.. cos not many couples can provide this feeling to the audience.... funny enough i only got this feeling when watching DOL not LWOLAP.. though they were also great but their love in DOL is just another level up!! as i said before i only got this feeling from two other couples before so Charray all the way!!!

enough about my babbling.. just felt like i needed to express the Charrayness within... another thing.. just like to thank people who read my fanfic "Tower" hopefully u guys liked it... i have another idea for a fanfic in mind.. Charray of course but im going to wait after i get uni work out of the way to start writing it.. thats if i can be bothered..lol..!!

Hey everyone, I am back from my holidays in HK/Taiwan. Glad to see this thread so active with new members and oldies back with us (waving at Range and Aznangel) I have just glanced through the posts quickly, and noticed that someone asksed why Ray's expression is so funny on the TVB magazine cover. Not sure if anyone has answered it yet. The cover story is about the love triangle between Charm, Ray and Myolie. Thus the pose they took just expressed the scenario. anyways, I was watching the TVB version of DOL, the more I watched it, the more I don't like Zhen Pong's mother. I just don't understand why she could change from a understanding and reasonable woman into someone so critical, suspicious, foolish and biased. I just watched Charray's part on CCTV version before, but now that I watched the full episodes, I just don't get it. In one of the episodes (I think it is 35 or 36), Gigi Wong was comforting Jessica who is confused as to who (Joe or Michael) to choose and worried about upseting her father by not listening to him. So Gigi said to Jessica that she doesn't need to listen to her or Damien. What she should do is just to think about what her heart really wants. She even told Daimen that it is so outdated to ask the kids to marry who or not to marry who. It is the children choosing their lifelong partner, not them choosing their son/daughter-in-law. Very well said, right? But then she was like 180 degrees changed when Pong wants to marry Sau Fung. Gigi became totally unreasonable and ridiculous. Made us just can't help to hate the character. What are the script writers doing?

I feel that the case of Ching Yu and Chan Pong is totally different
Its because Wing Piu has never hurt Ching Yu that deep before when Ching Yu was in the middle whether to choose Wing Piu or William. Ching Yu was unable to choose at that time is due to reasons like Wing Piu and Man Hon had a lot of grudges in the past and Man Hon cannot accept him, Wing Piu working for his uncle and etc. Wing Piu has never hurt Ching Yu directly before.
However in Chan Pong's case, Sau Fung has hurt him before directly by not marrying him, having an abortion (that is what Gigi thought that happen is it? sorry I have didn't watch the CCTV version) thats why she object their marriage but if Gigi already know that Sau Fung didn't have an abortion and that was an accident then what your saying is right. The script writers are writing wrong lines for the cast Its just an opinion no hard feelings...

fly_ultimate: Joe Ma doesn't have a clean record either. He has betrayed Daimen before and sided with his uncle to harm Daimen's company not only once. Thus, he is not a "good" or "righteous" person either. So if Gigi thinks it is totally okay for her daugher to be with this person, then why does she disapprove of Sau Fung so much later. I think it is reasonable to be unhappy about Pong getting back with Sau Fung, but to be so biased against her is another story. If you have seen the later episodes, there are just too many examples. Maybe that's partly due to Sau Fung being the daughter of her husband's old flame whom they have cheated on her? Oh well, I guess this is just the result of the script writers trying to create a climax with conflicts among the characters. A lot of people find it quite odd for Gigi;s character to change so drastically.

Anyways, I jsut can't wait to see Charray getting back together too! It will be so nice to hear their actual voice during the heart wrenching scenes and the touching scenes.

She returned, and is together with Ngai Tin Sing. I really don't know what this woman is up to. Other than extreme hate and disgust, i have no other feelings toward her. I don't want to speak nor hear anything about her. I only care if she deliberately hurts anyone i love, including my family, friends, and partner. If this evil woman strikes again, i will do whatever i can to fight back. I will defend my family and Wah Geet and Bing Yee with all i have.

Her return has one benefit to me: stimulating my fight for life. I must live life to the fullest, must work harder at work and on life. God, i almost expected him to add "muahahahaha" to the end. Zhen Pong really had a 180 change and i'm not liking it. He should've known better (that with her extremist personality she did all the stuff she did), after all he IS her husband (or almost her husband). He should've tried to understand what she is going through and at least talk to her. hey everyone! long time no see. many things that i have missed out. BUt i guess i will be missing out more as my promotional exams arrives. most prob would be busy till october i guess.

All in all, i am totally loving the character blogs. It really shows every details that the characters are feeling. thanks bittersweet, all reading the english version of the entry breaks my heart, and reading the chinese version shatters it to million pieces. Double impact! URgh, but eventually he will realise that caufung is indeed the one that he truely loves. In his subconcious mind he still loves sau fung. ALl three of them are in pain, but nobody would beat the pain of charmaine, she has to endure the pain of losing a child for god's sake and that pong would use it back against her was just heartbreaking, i practically brawled over it. All this trouble just came from his mum.

Oh well, like what myhelen said, i cant wait for them to be together again, just a few more episodes to go. I agree, listening to their canto voices seems much more real and close to heart rather than the chinese version. The way the both of them acted out each scenes with their emotions pouring into their voices are just ahhhhh. Can stop watching the scenes when they were together. they just seem to perfect for each other. The scene when they kissed in the park, it made me melt. ahh.. no doubt this is one of the best couple on screen and off screen, they seem so naturally with each other. Some on screen couples may look awkward together in certain scenes as if they cant seem to put in the true emotion on the acting. However charray seems to pull it off perfectly with no flaws. They relationship in DOL seems soo real that it is scary!

oh yes, and welcome to all the newbie! i hope u have a fun time in this thread. babysports: TOTALLY & absolutely agree with you! i'm too totally obsessed with this couple! For me, usually i will root for a specific couple in series (haha Ross&Rachel in FRIENDS!) but i've NEVER truly LOVED a couple before. What you said is so true; their relationship is so real it IS scary! All their scenes are acted out so flawlessly and their emotions, especially in their eyes, is just AMAZING and i often have to remind myself that it's only series. Charray IS the series IMO. They really brought alive DOL in a way that it makes the audience feel the authenticity and realness of the entire thing, like we actually KNOW the characters. We start to feel for them; the anger, the pity, the happiness...they're THAT good. Go Ray&Charm!! I think that in a way, Ray and Charm both had to use SOME real emotions (to an extent) because it's just TOO real to be fabricated...either that or they're CRAZY INCREDIBLE actors! AGHRHRH! Oh I dont like the way the news report said that Charmaine's acting is weak and said that her face went black when Jessica is still TVB No 1 sister. If really face black, why dont they took the photo down? There is no evidence at all! I dont know why they say the ratings is dragged down by Charmaine. Amongst all female actress inside, her character has a lot of up and down and it appears her acting can do that. Not to say Jessica's acting is not good, just that I dont like her character inside that just will help her husband regardless what her husband do. Yea. You are right. These peoples are sort of like to follow what the reporters said. They will just agree to the report and give all sorts of ridiculous comment. Anyway, we have eyes to see how Charmaine's acting improved in all these years. Just that I worry these type of news will affect her nomination as best actress for this year. To be truth, until now, I havent found someone that fit to take the awards this year except for Charmaine. Myolie Wu's WOL sequel will only be release on 31 Dec so she might not have the chance to win it. I really hope that Charray can win both best actor and actress for this year. Although chance might be slim for Charmaine cuz she won it last year and lots of negative report about her acting in DOL. Poor Charmaine.

I know, Charm was heartbroken. She kept thinking of his words, God.. He totally lied, in his heart Charm's the one who's better by a thousand times. I can't believe he could say that, well okay. just finished watching eps 43-45... and i love it... seeing Charmaine and Raymond get back together just made my day.. it was sooo sweet.. although i've seen the CCTV version but its really not the same.. having their real voices is just grand!!! i also love the fact they use their subtheme during those touching and emotional bits.... now im waiting for them to get married... another grand moment... Yup, we are here for Charray and that's why I think Gigi's character is really annoying by being so double standand and biased towards Sau Fung. She is making our Charray suffer. I originally don't think she is that bad, but the more I watch, the more I think she is giving too much hard time to Charray. Just cannot hold myself from showing my anger towards her. Anyway, I am not comparing how much Joe or Charm is hurting their other half. All I am saying is Gigi has double standard and her character switches so much. I thought she has thoroughly understood that it is not up to the parents to decide their kid's marriage. But at the end, Daimen has turned into the one who tries to teach her the same principle. Another example of bad plot development/script. Oh well, what Gigi is or will do is not that important lah as more oppression just showed us how strong is the love between Pong and Fung.

OMG i was like so hyper, excited... having a heart attack when i watching EPisode 44 of DOL!

so far i think it was the BEST episode so far for charray (at least for the sad scenes) the happy ones of course is epi 30

my god.. the scene where ray was begging Charm to kill him was very emoitonal made me cry! ahh!

then the scene where he chased after charm after finding out about the miscarriage was simply amazing!! This time ray really made me cry.

hehehe great episode. I can't stop smiling and thinking of it now. Next episode aw they decide to go to far away place together! cannot wait for it.

i have to admit, the rayolie scenes in episode 44 was pretty touching too. the picture taking and when ray was reading letter.

But it looks like ray likes myolie too... or has some kinda deep feeling.. preview of epi 45 seems like Ray only asked charm to marry him again because Zhen Man told ray not to "gu fu" Myolie's plans...

anyways, there better be more cutee / sweet / sad anything of charray after episode 45. because it looks like after tomorrow.. we have seen all the charray scenes that we know of. lol

Too bad Charm has such low chances of having a baby .. awww poor her =(
