Urg...I haven't watched HOG yet, but I definitely won't watch it. Don't wanna see Ray die and pair up with someone else but Charm.
It's soo disapointed that Ray and Linda will be in the MV. Ahh...it's suck! why not Charray? . Then, TVB is doing HOG II with Ray and Linda in the cast. Hope they won't paired up again since Ray's character died in HOG I.

Then, there is TVB upcoming "Master of Tai Chi"...Ray and Myolie (do I spell her name rite?...lol) pair up again. Gezz.....I don't like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, bittersweet05, I'll need to do the same thing you do...go re-watch Charray in DOL to "calm" me down after hearing all these "bad" news .

okay okay I have calmed down a little bit. But still upset about that MV with Linda.
I agree that Ray and Linda don't match at all. They are so arkward around each other. Like that airport clip that bittersweet05 posted up. I mean, Ray hardly pay attention to her and keep looking away like he doesn't want to be there. He rather be with his Charmie. Whenever he is with Charmaine, they would smile and laugh and look at each other so sweetly.
Ray looked like he was forced to stand near Linda and can't wait to get away lols IMO I think Linda match with Steven Ma. She should just leave Ray alone! In the airport clip, you can see Linda keep looking at Ray but he doesn't even look at her with one eye. Linda should just get the hint and leave Charm's man alone! Okay enough talking about that girl I don't like and focus more on the couple that I love: Charray!!

I think it's so cute too when Ray supported Charm for the Best Actress award! And then I clearly hear him started to say Ah Sheh and then corrected himself with Hang Yee heehee So you all are hearing correctly! Ray only have eyes and mind for his Charmie!

I know right? I agree with you about Linda. That girl can't sing at all. Her voice is so weak and whiny and so annoying too! But I guess this is not Linda's hate thread so we should tone down a little bit. But I still dislike her

Anyways, we all agree that Ray is most compatible with Charmaine! No questions about it! They have amazing chemistry onscreen and offscreen. I wish I am rich enough to produce a film or series then I will cast Charray as the perfect pair of lovers with the perfect love story! I hear you all about Ray and Linda paired again. I think it is because they have sang a duet -subtheme for HOG loh. I could understand why they have this MV, but I just HATED IT!!! And there's more to come - they will film HOG Series 2 begining Jan 2008 and Ray and Linda will pair up again. AGAIN!!!!!!!!! I just have no more energy to shout as I was so upset when I first learned about this 1 or 2 weeks ago that I refused to talk about it. Good thing is Ray and Linda and Bosco will form a triangle and I am praying that Bosco will get Linda at the end.

You can see Ray bit his fingers at the begining, like he was uncomfortable with Linda and not Charm next to him. Then he didn't even look at her and seem unhappy. You can tell they are not at all close like our Charray!
I still don't understand how TVB don't see that they lack chemistry!

I am like you guys, 100 % against Ray and Linda being paired up again. I enjoy the HOG Sub theme much more with Ray singing the entire song, alone! Rumour has it that Raymond and Linda WILL be paired up in HOG, even though technically he died in number 1. I think it's absolutely ridiculous! Not just because I'm totally against Rayda og whatever they call them. But because it's a supposingly sequel. What did they rise him from the dead? I mean come on! Besides, every other couple is being broken and mixed with someone else so why do they have to have Rayda again?! When I first heard the news I was about to faint, then I quickly found DOL and watched Charray again to calm my nerves BTW, how did it go with the TVB nominations? I read that they were both nominated for their individual dramas, but that's also about it.

This year TVB has confirmed to add at least 2 overseas awards - The favourite actress of Mainland China audience and the Favourite actor of Mainland China audience. I have high hopes for Charm to win this award because of her huge popularity in Mainland China.

Dawnlight dear, thanks so much for posting the link up! So it is the same clip that Bittersweet dear has posted up. When you said they are at the airport I thought the clip was something new. Nevertheless, thank you much lah. I agree that Ray doesn't look happy or comfortable in the clip. He is the happiest when he is with Charm because of Charm's easy going and witty character. She is not pretentious and thus makes people very comfortable hanging around her.

However, I think Ray is uneasy becasue I heard that the car that was supposed to pick them up was about 10 mins late, so they have to wait and becasue there were so many passengers at the terminal, they got surrounded by them asking for photos and autographs. Ray maybe a little upset because of that. Not to spoil everyone's high spirit - there is a magazine article that said Ray looks so happy on the jetboat ride with Linda and he seems to be taking care of her a lot trying to woo her. Oh well, just ignore this type of doggie made up stories.

Anyways, I miss Charray so much....sure hope they will attend some function together again soon!

I think the waiting is not what upset Ray, it's the waiting with Linda buahahahahahah
Ray usually is fine with waiting as he has patience. Remember when Charray were on their way to Canada to film DOL? (those sweet sweet times) Charm was late for some reason and Ray waiting for her without frowning or complaining and he didn't even have to wait for her, he could just go inside first himself. But being a great secret boyfriend, he waited for Charm
So I conclude that Ray would have a whole lot of happiness if Charm were there with him, he wouldn't care less about the waiting when his love is with him heehee

And about those tabloid report of Ray after Linda, I'm sure they are totally false! I mean, Ray could just be sitting there next to Linda (not because he wanted to, but the arranger made him) looking totally bored out of his mind and wishing his Charmie was there and those people probably made it up that Linda reject his attempt to woo her or something. That is laugh-out-loudable!!

Mack, I agree with your points on HOG 2 so that's why I am totally boycotting it!! The only reason I watched HOG 1 was that my parents already rented the series and I want to be open minded about Ray acting with another actress (just acting not real like with Charmaine of course). Then I ended up only watching parts WITHOUT Linda because she was so annoying! Her facial expressions are plain and made me hate her more. Her and Ray don't have any chemistry at all! I hated when they are together, seemed so forced! The storyline is totally ridiculous and not realistic at all!! I could named a million reasons why I hated HOG and hate Linda. Hmm.. Alright, I'm looking forward to that. I heard quite a lot of rumors about several people being nominated like Linda, Fala etc. IMO, Charmaine is a super actress who actually deserves awards, while those new-comers who are being promoted just because Ms Lok likes them, have a LONG way to go! Their acting is seriously nothing compared to the real actresses like Charmaine, Lee Si Ki and Susanna.

Dawnlight: I agree, I was actually excited when I heard that Ray would be in it and as a lawyer no less. But then he started dating Linda and I had no choice but to fast-forward their scenes. lols for a moment there, I thought you were going to defend Linda heehee but yeah, Linda sure simply sucks! I don't know why she is so overpromoted. She just started acting like a couple of years ago and already she got most improve award and leading roles. Her acting is nothing decent compare to the great talent of Charmaine's. Charray's acting is superb and match their level! Linda have a whole lot to learn before she can reach up to their level. So that's why the scenes with Ray and Linda in HOG was horrible to watch because Ray is so great at acting and Linda is bad. I read news that she actually used eyes drop to create fake tears for her scenes with Ray. And Ray looked bored and umimpress with her unprofessionalism. Unlike Charmaine who is so professional and has real talent! Charray totally match in everyway possible heehee

Mack, yeah, why did they even call it a sequel if the storyline is completely different? That's just dumb! I think they want to ride out HOG's popularity for as long as possible. But I think the only reason why HOG was a success was because of Lee Si Kee and Susanna Kwan and Ha Yu, not Linda and her relationships!

I used to like FungYi too, but haven't seen them for many years, so my obsession towards them has fade away. I actually think they are even a little bit overrated. I'm now obsessed with CharRay. I've never liked a couple for such a long time: 2 years. I was completely impressed with their chemistry in LWOLAP. I mentioned it every day, even on school xD. Even today, my friends know what LWOLAP and CharRay is, eventhough they are not Chinese/Asian. My obsession is funny.

Let me change the Rayda topic by telling you how I love Charray....lol

To be honest, I'm never been a Ray or Charm's fan. I like them, but not like an "die-hard" fan to watch every single series that they're in.
But, thing changed...I LOVE Charray soooo much after watching LWOLAP. First, I thought I was the only one that like Charray. Then, I did a "little research" online. Suprised me, I found "ton" of fans who love them, not only in this forum, there's other forum too. I'm soooo happy! Now I have "friends" here to talk and to hear about Charray....on and on....

Ok people, to answer some of your enquiries:
1. The TVB artists took a jetboat ride from HK to Macau. So they are not at the airport.
2. The "Most favourite actor/actress of mainland China audience" award is confirmed to be true. The nomination forms are posted on qq.com, TVB's mainland website partner that also hosted the TVB artiste blog. However, it cost money to vote. FYI, Charmaine's blog is so popular in mainland that the hit/views is now over 10 million. Ray's blog hit/views is over 2 million. I don't have the full address of this site handy. Will try to find it and post it here later.
3. I do agree that we should tone down our comments on Linda. Afterall this is not a haters thread and we should be more polite and considerate. We don't want others to say the same thing about Charmaine, right?
4. Astro awards is usually in January.
5. and not to make you all disappoint more, but I read from Raymondforest that Ray did say that Linda is the type of girl he likes at one of the fans gathering. I think Charray's popularity in China is very high, especially Charmaine. however, I think Gigi Lai's fans are more "wild" and they are known for voting like mad. just finished watching LWOLAP for like the fifth time and i just cant get enough Charray!! they are just so great together their chemistry is indescribable... the thing that makes them so good as well is that they both can act.. got to love them.. anywho.. i was reading off shehsheh.com cos someone posted up a bit of dialog from the drive of life which i thought was quite funny.. its about Charmaine talking to Damien and Gigi about Raymond.,. she said something like "I'm going to take you son back to Canada, then break his legs and let him sit in a wheelchair for life and then take good care for him for the rest of his life..." something along those lines.. which makes me want to know what brought her on to say that... man i really cant wait to watch the series..

someone also took a photo of the script and it was the scene where Raymond was chasing after Charmaine and she was carrying her mothers ashes.. Raymond kept chasing after her but she didnt look back and got in a taxi then i think after that her stomach started to hurt and i'm assuming she will have the miscarriage.. ohh so sad.. i swear when i watch those bits in the middle when they break up its going to my heart.. but at least we know they will get back together.. anywho... cant wait for drive of life!!

I agree with you myhelen, how can anyone not love Charray? Impossible right I find it so cute they have so many similarities together. I'll see if I can find more.
lols I'm not that observant heehee just of things that are Charray related and that came from staring at their pictures many many times I just love looking at their pictures and watching their interaction together on video clips. I think I might be in love with Charray


livia208, I actually differ from you in opinion about LWOLAP. I loved that series and watched it over many times myself (mainly focusing on Charray parts only of course ) I find the storyline well written and the sceneries so beautiful and especially Charray's portrayal of Fung Hang Lit and Chun Mung Yiu were great. Their love story is so touching and I love every Charray moments in there.
Maybe you are not used to watching wuxia series so that's why you think it's weird. But the story is actually quite moving there But I'm glad that you are enjoying DOL like all of us here. You're not slow at all, I'm still on ep 25 of Viet dubbed myself. Although I did watched the Cantonese version already

Alright, I agree. We should probably not spend time on bashing Linda, at least not in a CharRay thread. I wonder if there's a thread for people who hate Linda? Well, anyway.. I miss DOL, the drama itself was not the best I have ever seen, but CharRay's chemistry was so impeccable! I can't say it enough, I miss their outstanding performances. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't get to have a baby in the end. Imagine how cute that would be.

So I suppose it's possible to vote for Charmaine and Raymond? Does anyone know how to? Has it been mentioned before, I might be slightly slow.. Oh yeah, and can you only vote once?

To AhSi: I have just joined this forum, hopefully, to show some support to vote for Charmaine and Raymond for TVB 40th Anniversary Award in this forum. I felt that the bashing on this on-screen couple is quite unfair to the actor & actress themselves as they are just doing their jobs.

I watch TVB series only occasionally and very selectively, only when I like the story line and actors & actresses. I have been a fan of Charmaine for some time but do not have any particular preference for any co star with Charmaine.

Chilam and Charmaine do have some chemistry but it is only after I watched Drive of Life that I feel that Charray is one of the best on-screen pairing. Considering that Charmaine is actually older than Raymond by 4 years, to me, this is really a testament to their excellent acting skills to be able to bring out the chemistry and make it so believable for the audience/ fans.

How weird that you have to pay to vote, that way some Charm fans might not want to vote. I mean the only reason for these awards is to see who's more popular, talented and who improved the most etc. I really don't see where money comes in. Unless of course, if they need financial support for the awards.

How do you vote on that page? I can't read Chinese, I clicked on Charmaine's picture, then her profile came up. Does that mean I have already submitted my vote, or do I need to do anything else as well?
