Hi my charray fellows ^^ I know that I haven't been here for a while now but I will soon be back again. thanks for the informations about there are a new award that V`TVB had add I have confident in charray that they will get that award. I myself will vote for them I don't care if it cost it's worth it at long as it's related to charray!!! How weird that you have to pay to vote, that way some Charm fans might not want to vote. I mean the only reason for these awards is to see who's more popular, talented and who improved the most etc. I really don't see where money comes in. Unless of course, if they need financial support for the awards.

How do you vote on that page? I can't read Chinese, I clicked on Charmaine's picture, then her profile came up. Does that mean I have already submitted my vote, or do I need to do anything else as well?

But I have to agree with Helen, we shouldn't really bash her up because it's really entitled to opinion whether Ray and Linda is a good couple. Besides, wouldn't we want good response when Charray gets publicity? So we should give Rayda a rest and just revel in our marvel for CHARRAY!!

Hi dawnlight . It's sooo good to know some Charray's Viet fan here .
I know, Viet dubbed version is taking forever. I can't stand the wait, so I watch it in English sub at Veoh.com. It's up to eps. 52 now. I found out it's amazing to hear their real voice and still be able to understand it. Don't wait for Viet, dawnlight, try to watch DOL there. Absolutely will stop the "craving" to watch Charray...lol.

I clicked on the left button once, then some pop-up came up, I clicked OK, then when I saw that nothing happened I tried again, finally something happened I was directed to a page with the results. I did not have to fill out anything..? Does that mean I only saw the results or did I actually vote? Have you voted more than once? More importantly, can you?

I was re-watching the clip where Charm was accepting her Best Actress Award, VERY touching moment and she was so cute! "after the last one [my favourite female character award] i thought i wouldn't get this one!" LOL Charm sounded SOOOOOO happy and at the same time like a little girl who just got her favourite doll for x-mas! Just wished that the camera man hadn't zoomed in on Joe hugging Charm 'cause i wanted to see Ray's reaction to his Charmie getting the award, how happy he must be for her (and jealous that big Joe is hugging her! ^^) I did notice one thing though; Ray arrived with BERNICE while Charm arrived w/MOSES. Hmmm anyone see a correlation here? Moses+Bernice and Charray!!! ROFL i SWEAR Charray and ummm Monice (lol i almost typed 'monica') planned this out before hand 'cause neither pair (who are secretly going out - Charm w/ Ray and Bernice w/Moses) wanted the tabloids to find out and blow up their underground relationships and thus, agreed to 'switch' partners for that one night! (that way Ray can keep sneaky Kevin - haha i got influenced by Ida101's fanfic from going after his Charmie and Charm can keep Linda at bay from her sweetie Ray! ) LOOOL sorry for my far-fetched errmm "observation"...just that i'm STARVED of Charray news/pics!! charmaine sheh joining "seeking happiness"


Charmaine Sheh was seen yesterday taking promotional shots for her new series. It turns out that Charmaine is the newest cast member to the long-running series Seeking Happiness. Her "image" for the series was quite different. With two pigtails tied at the ends with blue ribbons, Charmaine looked like a young country girl, quite "embarrassing." However, Charmaine was all smiles and seemed to like her image.

When asked about why she looked the way she did, Charmaine replied, "You like it? It's my look for the series! (Isn't Seeking Happiness a modern series?) It is. (Then why are you dressed like that? Don't you find it embarrassing to have this look in contemporary times?) No! I think it's quite 'cute!' It's because my role is a country girl from the mainland! (What role do you have?) My name is 'Lam Yuk Fan.' (Oh, you're a member of the Lam family?) Yes! But don't tell my 'mother' Mannor Chan! (Come to think of it, how are you a Lam anyways?) I can't tell you. My role is a 'big secret.' (Not even a little?) Fine. I'll tell you this - I'm Bondy Chiu's 'little sister.' I won't say how. (Who are you pairing with?) I'm going to be involved with Raymond Lam and a bit with Bosco Wong. Basically, Raymond, Bosco, Leila Tong, and I will be in one big love square that will carry the series later on... (Wait. Didn't your role belong to Michelle Ye? We reported news of new cast members awhile ago.) Well, yes. (Did you "steal" the role from her?) No! I actually did a guest appearance for a few episodes. The producer was so impressed with me that he asked me if I wanted to take on a bigger role. (Won't this project keep you from working on bigger things?) Yes, but I'll get to be on TV every night! (Won't your appearance as a new, bigger character conflict with your past guest star?) Luckily, the series got 're-released' so my cameo was re-filmed by Michelle Ye. I don't appear at all. (How do you feel about working mostly with the "younger" generation for this series?) It doesn't matter! A lot of the cast members have a lot of experience, so it balances it out. (When do you start filming?) Not for awhile. (So we won't see you soon?) No, the time for my character to appear is far from coming, but I'm excited to start working. I think it will be a fun and different experience. The quality of the scripts is superb and I'm working with great people!"

We visited Michelle Ye on the set of Central Affairs II, where she was getting ready to film yet another bed scene. Her reaction to the press was a surprised and delighted expression. "Oh my gosh! Hi!" she waved as she held another six-inch knife in her hand - this time, without her blood on it. (Be careful with that! We don't want another accident.) To this, she blushes, "No, of course not. So yeah, I'm just here filming for my series. It's really different and is a must-watch. It's hard work and I'm sacrificing a lot, even a stab to my thigh. Haha! So you guys better watch." (Yes, we will.) "So you're here to find out the scoop on the series right?" (Actually, we were wondering something... weren't you going to appear in Seeking Happiness as a new cast member?) Her face changes at the mention of Seeking Happiness. "Oh." Quickly, she smiles again, "Yes, I was." (Are you still going to appear?) "No. I'm not. I decided to turn it down because it would interfere too much with my schedule. I have movies, big series, advertisements, functions, and many more to do! I can't be tied down like that. And you know me, I want to try new things!" (So Charmaine Sheh didn't "steal" the role from you?) "No! Of course not..." (Is it true that you filmed guest spots for the series though?) "Yes, I did." (What role did you have?) "I played the owner of a sweet soup shop." (Did you know that that role originally was Charmaine's?) "No, I had no idea. The producer called and asked me to film those scenes quickly and I was free, so I just did it." (You didn't find it strange they gave you such a role instead of a leading one?) "I filmed it after my role was given away... Anyways, I was happy to film the guest spots! It was enough. However, the producer has promised me another guest appearance and even scenes with Raymond, so I'm content with that. I miss working with him because I do love him!" (Wow, is that a confession?) "No! I've always loved him." (You said Ron Ng was one of your best friends, but he ignored you the other day.) "Well, he was busy filming and I had to get back to filming too!" (Are you upset that you got your big role taken away?) "No! I said it already. I'm very busy. It's better this way." She smiles. Before we could ask any more questions, she started to go on and on about things we didn't care to report.

Next, we went to visit the producer of Seeking Happiness himself. (We understand there was a casting change?) "Yes, there was." (What was changed?) "Originally, 'Lam Yuk Fan' was going to be acted by Michelle Ye, but we've casted Charmaine Sheh for that role instead now." (What's the deal with the switch?) "There was timing and contract conflicts with Michelle. Charmaine was more accessible and we were very pleased with working with her. However, we wanted Michelle to still appear in the series, so we had her film the guest spots that Charmaine did awhile ago. We are also planning to give Michelle her own guest spot in the same role." (Didn't the fans vote for Michelle to take the role?) "Yes, but it seems things have changed over the year since we've been on the air. Plus, we weren't happy with Michelle's recent image and feel that she is no longer suitable for the role." (Oh, I see.) "The change is for the better! There's been a surprising rise in Charmaine and Raymond Lam pairing fans lately, so we want to give the audience what they want." (What's the role like?) "'Ah Fan' is a very naiive and cute girl. I think Charmaine will have fun playing her and the audience will grow to love 'Ah Fan' as they do the other characters. She's very sweet and funny in her own way." (The role sounds a bit "young." Don't you think Charmaine is a miscast?) "I think Charmaine can pull it off. Yes, the role is quite young, but Charmaine is not that old!" (So you don't think Charmaine is out of place?) "Not at all. Charmaine is one of the most popular 'fa dan' at TVB these days. Having her on the series is an honor." (Okay. So when will she appear?) "Right now, we have a lot on our hands. However, we're hoping by season three to have her appear, but when she does, she'll have a very meaty storyline - both comedic and dramatic."

It's NOT a series. It's just a fanfic that someone called metalaznwarrior wrote. LOL, sorry for the disappointment.

It's a Virtues of Harmony fanfic. Metal only added in Charmaine and Raymond because I asked him to xD.

I haven't heard anything about DVD version from TVB I know that CCTV did come out with a DVD version and there where some charray screne added ^^ there was one additional that I really like it was the part where charray get to know that they would be parents ( or charray get to know that charm was pregnant) I think I have post that clip up it was soo sweet how ray "talked" to the baby

U can see that ray is totaly two different persons by charm side comepare to linda.
I agree with u linda and ray haven't any chemistry at all, I think fungyi is better. the kissing scene from HOG was terrible, both of them was uncomfortable.

Well i don't like the ray and linda or ray with myolie pairing either I can't see the so called chemistry they share, and i just don't think they match just by the looks, myolie have a round face and ray have more sharp face shape so they don't match in looks. and for linda I just can't see them as a couple maybe friends but nothing more then that.

wow it was long time since I saw u here, welcome back well i have like this couple after LWOALP too i think their chemsitry in that serie was awesome even if there wheren't that much body contaced, they did all the expression and emotions from their eyes, something I admire from charray they are soo great on using eyes to speak

I was discussing Charray today, and we came to that conclusion that Charray was the most interesting thing in those 60 eps. The drama itself was rather long and slightly draggy. I think I can watch the Charray moments over and over again without getting tired of it.

I'm disappointed that the news were fake, I had just hoped that something could cheer me up after the whole Raymond-Linda-Bosco thing.. I'm glad Linda dies in Forensic Heroes. That way Charmaine can end up with Frankie, that would be interesting. At least Charm is older and fits him much better. She can practically pull off anything with her professional acting.

HEY Everyone! I dont know if this has been posted yet, but this person just informed me of some good news (kinda..) -- regarding presentational series, Burning Flame 3 and its Cast!!!

I do not know how true this news is, probably on the "untrue" side, but... hehe

I don't have high hopes on this news though, Most likely it wont happen, but ... hehe its great just hearing that Charray in another series together.. or plan to.

If they happen to really film this series! I really really cross my fingers to keep the cast and possibly pair charray up! HAHA thats a lot of hopes.. but maybe it will happen =)
gosh, i hope myolie doesnt have anything to do with charray this time.. or dont have anything to do with Ray rather.. ! lol

I think the above news is most probably untrue. Listing Louis and Michael makes it near impossible (99.99%) as they both have left TVB for good.

I haven't heard of this in kuangai (the premier source for TVB news etc).

BTW i was re-watching the last episode of DOL when Charm apologized to Ray after he got out of jail and Ray hugged her after she apologizes but then Charm pushes him away a little to ask him "you really forgive me?" it looked like Ray didn't want to let her go!! she fully had to push him off! ROFL. Heehee i guess Charm's shoulders are comfortable, huh Ray?

OMG...bittersweet05, I thought the same thing too .
It really looked like Charm is tied up in Ray's embrace...lol. And also Ray's eyes contact on Charm, he looked at her without blinking !!!!!
By the way, could you or someone quick translate the conversation there, please please?

yeah i agree with SehSeh !! Louis and Michael left TVB for GOOD they went back singing/acting movies although i would like to see Michael in a series again! hes always so funny! but then again the series could be truee.

This series will be featured in TVB Sales Presentation 2008. It's NOT confirmed to be filmed yet, and even if it will be filmed, most of the cast might be changed.

Burning Flame 3 is confirmed to start filming in early 2008 - it will be next year's grand production. And yes Wong Hei will be back. However, the cast list with Charmaine, Louis, Michael is fake.

And posting to comment about Pearl's AWESOME production!

I really like how the scene flashes from one to the other. It's not too fancy as to distract us from the real strength and core of the MV, the amazing storyboard! I really like how you chose the best scenes to depict what you want, and I could understand what you're trying to say very easily!

Haha and you know me, I'm not a big fan of the music. But of course this is highly subjective and I'm going to ignore this particular detail. I bet for Vietnamese fans, it'll be extremely nice and meaningful =D.

All in all, I love the storyboard as per usual, I love the chosen scenes...

And it looks like there'll be a countinuation!

This thread is a little bit quiet these couple days..

Anyway, Burning Flames 3 with CharRay is so not gonna be true! Like others already said: Michael and Louis already left TVB for good. Besides, Raymond has a really tight schedule with two grand productions. I don't think TVB will put him in another grand production. So that means no CharRay in the upcoming productions of TVB.

I think I should re-watch Lethal Weapons, but 40 episodes is definitely too much xD. I think I'm only going to re-watch the CharRay scenes. Any recommended CharRay scenes?

Pearl - I have a request here! Can you please upload your MV? I have problems with my JavaScript on YouTube, but I really want to watch your MV.
