YAY! A Part 2!! Just like a movie/series Part 2! Showing that our thread is awesome to have one!!! Hehe...I didn't even know it was open..LOL! Now let's continue what we was talking about in Part 1! Before that um...asillysaint, if you could edit the thread could you add 'Ho Hoo Tan' to Gillian's Discography?

Basically, they are just saying that Twins have a big chance of losing the Gold Award for groups this year to Soft Hard, and Charlene expressed that she and Gillian has never personally worried about sales of records or box office results, but rather their management company does. She said that they didn't have Gold every single year, so just getting an award is good enough, and they will be happy if Soft Hard got an award. Not getting an award doesn't mean that Twins didn't work hard.

Oh..well I don't think Soft Hard could get it..maybe they could get silver, or Twins because Twins have won the Gold award for 3 years straight! But winning a award is good enough then not to win anything at all!

Thanks for sharing. This person does have a lot of rare clips. I have never seen the Making of "Happy-Go-Lucky'; hehe, both Kent and Wayne praised Gillian for being hardworking, and that the three of them had a wonderful time filming together. Watch the 'Making Of' for 'The Medallion'. Gillian was so youthful back then, and you can catch her speak bits of English in the clips.

This is weird. I've never been to a site where it's like this before but I guess so.

Anyways, I've been doing some researching on Gillian and I'm beginning to quite like her not her as Twins but her as an individual. Charlene is the same, too. I like Charlene as an individual as well but I won't dwell on it here. Although I haven't quite admire her yet because I haven't put time to knowing her more.

Moving on,
She seems so, how do I put it, down-to-earth; friendly, determined to be and do all that she can do.
I look at her and I see this really sensative, fragile woman but with a really strong mind and at the same time I can see her being courageous person who can take on the world (Well, not necessarily the world but you guys know what I mean).
Part of me really feel sad for her especially growing up but I admire how brave she is to still keep up that beautiful smile of hers.
For the first time, I notice how beautiful Gillian's smile is. Well, of course I just notice it because I never knew who she was until now.
Thanks to you guys. I finally know what it feels like to idolize a celebrities.
Wow, you guys have totally open my eyes to celebrities especially asian celebrities. I use to hate asian celebrities even though I'm asian myself. I hate the fact that they're all so great (No offense) and fake but now I'm beginning to grow upon them. I want to get to know everyone especially Gillian.
You can't help but learn to love her. It's like there something about her that makes you want to know more and more of her. Even if you try to walk away but you can't.

Gillian does have a beautiful smile. i even pointed to a picture of Gillian in a mag and tell my mum she's pretty.LOL! anyway, i would recommend House Of Fury & 49 days and Twins Effect! cos these are the only films i've seen. and House of Fury is more of comedy & action.while 49 days is a horror.Twins Effect is a vampire one. you should catch those movies. it's xD

Wow, the thread is done already. Well, let's start building the second part of our Gillian Empire, guys!

Oh..well I don't think Soft Hard could get it..maybe they could get silver, or Twins because Twins have won the Gold award for 3 years straight! But winning a award is good enough then not to win anything at all!

Soft Hard is actually really popular in HK because of the reputation they have established back then, and their comeback was a huge hit. I can see Soft Hard getting Gold because in 903, Soft Hard has close to 100 more airplays than Twins. It would be nice if Twins can get it for the 4th year because then, they could achieve the same as the group, Beyond, which holds the record for getting the most Golds in a row, four times. The chain may break this year for Twins. It'd be hard to accumulate it all over again.

My recommendations:

'Beyond Our Ken' - It stars Gillian, Daniel Wu, and Tao Hong. It is a must-see. The plot was awesome because you actually had to think it over rather than having everything spoon fed. In my opinion, this film is the best that Gillian has done, partially because it is about the only film that lets her develop her acting on. She also received a nomination for 'Best Actress' from this film. Her crying scenes were entirely superb, and it definitely shows that Gillian is not only made for action films.

'House of Fury' - It stars Gillian, Stephen Fung, Anthony Wong with Daniel Wu and Charlene as guest stars. Although it was filmed at the same time as BOK, Gillian plays a completely different character in this serial. Her fighting scenes show her talent for aciton films, but she does a great job as a bubbly schoolgirl as well. The sibling fights between Gillian and Stephen are a must-see.

'49 Days' - It stars Gillian and Stephen Fung, and it is her most recent solo film. Gillian plays a character of an arrogant lawyer. This film is more of a 'teamwork' film, where everyone did great on their own parts, and no one really outshined each other but rather everyone shine together, which is what films should achieve. '49 Days' generally had a really good and interesting plot.

It's great to know that you have grown a liking towards Gillian. I hope you'll enjoy these films as much as we have.

Personally, to pin point which aspect I LOVE of Gillian, it would have to be her beautiful eyes. Seems like they always carry so much sorrow and pain YET they're full of hope, joy, and innocence. Eyes are the window to one's soul and definitely, Gillian has an amazing soul because I can't help but fall in love with Gillian as I look into her eyes, they're so mesmerizing.

Three Films I highly recommend are: Beyond Our Ken, 49 Days, and House Of Fury. You just have to watch them, nothing beats enjoying the real thing.

Gillian is filming a series called 'Plan A' at the moment.

Yup, last night, I couldn't log off until I completed a second thread so I was creating it and finally, finished. Our thread which had 100 pages seemed to be one of the last threads notified about this new thread thing so I had to jump right to it. Oh, the photo you liked, I tried linking it but for some reason, it kept ending in errors so I just chose the photos I thought Gillian looked really nice for the introductory post. I was trying to portray Gillian's versatile beauty.

Hm, doesn't it seem like 'Plan A' is being quite low profile? I mean, when Gillian began filming for 'Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain,' photos of the wardrobe and media clips were already released, providing us with some insights but hm, as for 'Plan A', we're not even sure about the storyline yet and we haven't even seen other photos of the cast yet except for Dicky and his navy outfit. Perhaps Wong Jing is planning to invest in this series afterall? Keeping everything as a surprise? Let's hope so, that way, Gillian can be the second lead female alongside Andrew, who is the second lead male but meshed between evil and good.

Really? I didn't really know that they was a popular group. I thought they was a new group and actually wondered why they had so much fans in the first place. Well..if it's like that I guess Twins will recieve the silver award. But having a award is better than nothing

i doubt sofhard will win...remember last year was a comeback year for grasshopper and they didnt win.. just becuz a old group/band comes back doesnt guarantee they will win....i have confident in twins...and even if sagil dont win...it doesnt matter becuz i agree with sa...an award is just an encouragement...it doesnt represent all the hard works they putted in...but i sure hope twins can be like Beyond...win 4 years in a row...sry to ask, twins won in 02-04 rite?

Alot of celebrities topic with over 1000 post has a Part 2. Yeah Charlene thread does also have one, and so does Charmaine.

I was bored over the weekend and I was re-watching Twins 2002 concert and I realized I loved the camera! I loved the camera becaused it always/mostly focused on Gillian! Their outfits were pretty much the same and thank goodness back then Gillian wasn't all covered up like she is now! Anyone noticed in that concert when Gillian would fade in the picture it will take 5-10 second and now in the 2006 concert when she fades it takes 1-2 second! But was that concert basically lip-syning? Because at the end Charlene was crying and she sounds exactly like CD verison!

Wonderful poster! Gillian actually looks pretty good like that even with the curls. She really should have done this hairstyle more when she had her curls, pull a portion of it back at the top of her head. She looks brighter that way rather than having the curls all in her face.

Yeah, it would have definitely been better if we had been notified earlier in the day. It would not have been such hard work for you to stay up late just to complete the new thread. It's okay about the photo. The photos you chose were just fine; each were a different beauty of Gillian's.

I believe so. Basically, only Dicky's costume has been released and exposed. Everyone else is just hidden away. I wish the HK media could have gone up to Heng Dian to do some interviews and gather some photos. It happened for 'Flying Fox', but it doesn't seem like it's happening for 'Plan A'. Maybe they can go interview them on the last day of Gillian's filming. I hope you're right that WJ is keeping everything down low because he is actually investing in this serial to make it good. If that is so, I still think he should leak out some good stuff to make us anticipate it more, such as 'Intense Scenes Between Andrew Wu and 'Jade Girl' Gillian Chung!' splattered all over the headlines. I'd love to see Mani's face when that comes up. Hm, an article said that Andrew is first antagonist male lead, so I'm assuming that Dicky is the first protagonist male lead while Patrick as the second protagonist male lead, and the Mainland actress is the first female lead? I absolutely have no idea where Gillian stands in this. Sure, her name is far up the list, but likely her screentime won't correspond.

They might get Gold, either 'Cherry Red Guitar' will do well on the 903 chart, or 903 gives it to Twins anyway. Even though 903 is said to be giving out their awards based on airplays, they sometimes just don't. The case with Grasshopper last year is a bit different than Soft Hard this year. Grasshopper only had two songs released last year, and Soft Hard released an album. I'm not sure if Grasshopper had a concert last year, but Soft Hard did, and it was a huge hit.

It should be pretty new, according to the article. Mani said that Gillian and Joey were really good at billiards, but herself and Charlene aren't.

It says that during a Mainland Music Awards Ceremony, Gigi Leung, Twins, Nicholas Tse, and Joey Yung were the only HK singers who received awards. Nicholas and Joey got 'Favourite Male & Female Singers' while Twins got 'Top Ten Songs', 'Best Group', and 'Favourite Group'. It also says that they went and performed. I just bought 49 days at Hong Kong Entertainment but haven't gotten time to watch it.
49 days must be really good because it made to the box office chart in Hong Kong, if my sources are correct.

I just finish watching Monkey King: Quest to Sutra. I have to say that I'm not thrilled with Gillian's acting. I can't say much because she didn't get enough screentime and when she does it's not much.
But she did try her best so I have to give her prop for that. There's always time for progress.
I still have her other films to watch so I can't just say she's not good. I have to credit her for trying though.
It's the best an artist can give her viewer/audience.

I was bored over the weekend and I was re-watching Twins 2002 concert and I realized I loved the camera! I loved the camera becaused it always/mostly focused on Gillian! Their outfits were pretty much the same and thank goodness back then Gillian wasn't all covered up like she is now! Anyone noticed in that concert when Gillian would fade in the picture it will take 5-10 second and now in the 2006 concert when she fades it takes 1-2 second! But was that concert basically lip-syning? Because at the end Charlene was crying and she sounds exactly like CD verison!

Things between Twins were never fair to begin off with but time progresses, the gap between Twins just grows farther apart. Gillian overall was just so energetic and confident during the past concerts versus the 'Missing Piece' one.

I know that Sony does that to S.H.E.'s LIVE concerts. I suppose Twins did sing LIVE all throughout the concert but after recording, the production crew perhaps inserted the CD version of that particular song because of karaoke purposes. But I'm sure S.H.E. and Twins do sing LIVE during their concerts, which has nothing to do with post-production stuff.

I believe so. Basically, only Dicky's costume has been released and exposed. Everyone else is just hidden away. I wish the HK media could have gone up to Heng Dian to do some interviews and gather some photos. It happened for 'Flying Fox', but it doesn't seem like it's happening for 'Plan A'. Maybe they can go interview them on the last day of Gillian's filming. I hope you're right that WJ is keeping everything down low because he is actually investing in this serial to make it good. If that is so, I still think he should leak out some good stuff to make us anticipate it more, such as 'Intense Scenes Between Andrew Wu and 'Jade Girl' Gillian Chung!' splattered all over the headlines. I'd love to see Mani's face when that comes up. Yup, and it was Gillian's first nomination as 'Best Actress.' I guess it confuses people, Gillian jumped from being the stiff pretty vase in all of those nonsense films to something so refreshing and strong like 'Beyond Our Ken,' but the truth is, Gillian has always possessed potential in acting, it's just that, EEG has dumb restrictions on her, which has halted the growth of her acting abilities. Gillian is an amazing actress; I have been waiting for a similar film like 'Beyond Our Ken' to come Gillian's way, perhaps something more daring but seems like Mani has frozen Gillian on films so my hope has been shattered.

Gillian got nominated in the 'Gam Zhi Ging Awards' but I'm not so sure how that equates to American awards. Even American awards, I'm not sure which one is the most important and recognized one. But for sure, actors and actresses perceive the 'Gam Zhi Ging Awards' to be very meaningful and grand in their careers. That's why, even just a nomination is enough. Hm, yeah. If Andrew is 6 feet, the scenes between Andrew and Gillian may be limited due to the height difference. Like, Gillian can't stand on something all the time you know? Let's hope height won't affect the amount of sweet and dramatic scenes between Andrew and Gillian. I would find it extremely odd if Edison or Daniel portrayed Gillian's brother, that's just plain weird.

It wasn't bad at all, actually. It was a really nice action packed family movie. If you liked that scene, you would definitely love the scene when Daniel comes over for dinner. Gillian asks Stephen politely to pass the chicken and he makes fun of her, ending up fighting again but under the table. The grandma and little girl downstairs of the apartment are like, "Oh no, they're at it again." This has to be one of Daniel's most hilarious moments, when he tries to eat during the fight but he's thrown off balance and his Cantonese isn't fluent so he mispronounces his words. I LOVE this film. It's very original and overall, good.

I just bought 49 days at Hong Kong Entertainment but haven't gotten time to watch it.
49 days must be really good because it made to the box office chart in Hong Kong, if my sources are correct.

'49 Days' did indeed do an impressing job at the box office. According the Yes! magazine, it made a final result of 10+ million at the box office. The film was also released during a quiet season.

I'm sure most of us here would be recommending you: BOK, HOF, and 49 Days. Those 3 films are simply the ones that have shown Gillian's potential. The roles that she gets in Twins films simply don't do her any justice.

Hm, maybe. I suppose the media would be more interested in 'Flying Fox' rather than 'Plan A' because at least 'Flying Fox' was based on a novel which gives attraction. The serial 'Plan A' just doesn't give you the feeling that it'll include a storyline about manipulation and violence to achieve love. I know when I hear it, I would think of some secret agent show or a show about thieves. Hm, good idea; I'm going to go look around and see if Andrew has a blog. I know we found out a lot from Nie Yuan from his blog. I'm looking forward to hear Andrew comment about Gillian and their scenes together as well. You know what, from all the news we've been hearing about, I somehow feel like Dicky and his story about pirates can just be cut right out of the serial, and the love triangle between Andrew, Gillian, and Patrick can dominate the whole serial. I simply don't see the connection between the two storylines. We have Dicky, the navy soldier, fighting pirates with his friends, and he falls in love with a pirate princess along the way, and supposedly in the same serial, we have Andrew, the son of a knight, chasing his brother into a dead end, trying to steal his father's fortune, and struggling with his love of the foreign maiden, Gillian, who sadly loves his brother instead. What is the connection?

BOK and Gillian's nomination seriously shocked everyone. I remember picking up the paper back then, and right on the front page was something about Gillian proving everyone wrong about her acting with her nomination. I was like, "Woohoo!" Gosh, that's something what a half-retired actress would do, not someone who is still trying to establish her career. Let's pray that we'll at least see a 2007 solo film of Gillian. I agree. If we looked back at those who began the Gillian thread, they aren't even around anymore. I somewhat like it that we, our family, can all be here and begin the new chapter of Gillian discussions. Hopefully, we won't be disappearing off either.

That is true. Gillian's first film ever was 'U-Man', and that was back in 2002, around the same time of 'Monkey King'. My first time seeing Gillian act was in 'Monkey King' as well; I admit that I wasn't too impressed of her acting either, but I didn't penalize her since she was a newbie. Her portrayal and her character was actually quite cute, so I pretty much had a neutral impression of her. Hm, come to think of it, it would even be nice if Gillian can get another role like 'Zhi Wei'; I'm pretty sure she can do a far better job of it now. It's very rare to see Gillian and Charlene in a drama together with Charlene as the more mature one and the older one. Well, Charlene didn't exactly get scenes to show the mature part, but according to their godfather, Charlene's character was mature until she met Dicky. Back to Gillian, her character as 'Zhi Wei' is simply different from her usual roles in the Twins films.

Gillian's nomination was from the Golden Bauhinia Awards, referred to as Gam Zhi Ging in Cantonese. I am not quite sure how I would compare this awards ceremony with an American awards ceremony though. From my knowledge, HK has three main awards ceremonies: Golden Horse Awards - Gam Ma Jeung, Golden Bauhinia Awards - Gam Zhi Ging, and the HK Film Awards - Gam Jiang Jeung. Generally, the Golden Horse Awards are given the most attention. However, the Golden Bauhinia Awards are given credits that their judges judge solely on the performance and script of the film, whereas Golden Horse Awards often get influenced by political elements, box office results, and such. Rene Liu, the winner of the year when Gillian was nominated, expressed that she feels more honoured to be nominated and winning the Golden Bauhinia Awards than any other awards ceremony because she knows that she is really being recognized solely for her acting. To me, her statement meant a lot, and I have personally agreed with the results of the Golden Bauhinia Awards moreso than other ceremonies. In my opinion, I would say that Gillian's nomination at that ceremony does express a lot towards her acting.

I agree, and don't forget about how the role was originally Isabella's. Being a tall individual, they likely didn't see the problem with Isabella standing next to Andrew. With Gillian, it's a different story. Gillian should get around to working with different people to produce different chemistry anyway.

'A Chinese Tall Story' is definitely a taint to the prequels starring Stephen Chow. My father encouraged me to watch the two prequels, and I have to say that they were definitely awesome. 'A Chinese Tall Story' got a lot of promotion and attention at the begininng because it's said to be a sequel, but the final product was completely off. Gillian did look left out from the project, considering how nearly every EEG artiste took part in it, but I guess it's not a bad thing that Gillian wasn't included. Of course, it wouldn't have been such a hard thing to do to include Gillian in, even as a small role, but it just shows how biased EEG is. Gillian definitely would have helped out with the box office, even with her attending the functions. Hey, I admit that I would be more enthusiastic to watch 'A Chinese Tall Story' if Gillian was in it.

I didn't know that the Golden Bauhinia Awards judge on the actors performances, which made Gillian's nomination even greater than I thought. I've heard of the Golden Horse Awards before, but only heard about the Golden Bauhinia Awards when Gil was nominated. I agree with Rene Liu, it's definitely better and more meaningful to win an award for your performance and not the box office results.

About "A Chinese Tall Story," it seemed weird that Gillian wasn't included in the movie since everyone else is from EEG, though not surprising. Like everyone else, I'm glad Gillian didn't participate in that film, the only time that you could actually thank Mani/EEG for being biased.

Gillian must have made a good impression on Andrew; I mean, he was bold enough to stand up for her during her incident. Plus, everyone just generally adores Gillian.

As for 'Plan A's' storyline, Dicky who is a comedic naval soldier will fall in love with a Pirate Princess and disguise himself as a pirate to get near her plus the mission of ridding the sea of pirates because he has been trained that Pirates are evil people. As Dicky and the Pirate Princess spend time together, their love blooms and Dicky changes his initial perception towards Pirates, they're just simple people making a living. And this is where Andrew comes in. In order to prove his strengh and intelligence to his father, he attacks the pirates because he is the son of a knight right? The series then develops on Andrew, Gillian, and Patrick's love triangle. For some reason, Dicky likes to portray characters with this type of situation. I guess, everyone in this series has their own weak spot and reason to be good or bad. Andrew feels inferior to Patrick so he constantly struggles to surpass Patrick while Gillian is his weak spot; making him feel powerless and yearning to win her heart, he actually does good deeds from the heart, not just a manipulation.

Yup. And I would be okay if Mani was encouraging Gillian in the music industry solo while Sa builds in the acting arena but that's not the case at all. All Mani wants is for Sa to shine in both areas, which gets very irritating to see. But it's okay, with every project, I hope that Gillian will only succeed and further improve for us, not awards or praises from her management.

'A Chinese Tall Story' is definitely a taint to the prequels starring Stephen Chow. My father encouraged me to watch the two prequels, and I have to say that they were definitely awesome. 'A Chinese Tall Story' got a lot of promotion and attention at the begininng because it's said to be a sequel, but the final product was completely off. Gillian did look left out from the project, considering how nearly every EEG artiste took part in it, but I guess it's not a bad thing that Gillian wasn't included. Of course, it wouldn't have been such a hard thing to do to include Gillian in, even as a small role, but it just shows how biased EEG is. Gillian definitely would have helped out with the box office, even with her attending the functions. Hey, I admit that I would be more enthusiastic to watch 'A Chinese Tall Story' if Gillian was in it.

The Golden Bauhinia Awards is quite a meaningful ceremony. Didn't Jackie Chan once complained how Andy always wins 'Best Actor' at the Golden Horse Awards? Haha, I mean think about it, if Jackie already exclaimed that out, that just shows that hey, the Golden Horse Awards is somehow reflected upon other things, not exactly upon merit, potential, and fair game. Towards any award, I don't think Gillian has that much politial influence to gear the results in her favor so her nomination was a direct appreciation and recognition for her acting abilities.

Oh yeah, Isabella is tall isn't she? I wonder how Andrew felt? From Isabella to Gillian, that must have been good news.

Haha, if EEG had included Gillian in 'A Chinese Tall Story,' then the Nicholas-Charlene duet wouldn't have existed; it would have been a Nicholas-Twins duet. I mean, the EEG crew behind the duet worked quite hard on the melody and lyrics just for the song to float up in popularity and support but unfortunately, that never happened. The duet sort of flopped just like the film. It was actually Kenny-Gillian's duet that did very well without all of those promotions like the 'Love' duet had received. Hm, I wonder, that's probably why EEG avoids to pair Kenny up with Gillian in a film; I mean, 'Conscious Discovery' was doing so well even without an extremely good music video that was released way way later, imagine if Kenny-Gillian were again paired up for a duet for their film? A film? EEG cannot avoid the duet if there is a film collaboration because Nicholas who is part of EEG sang a duet with Sa in their film so if Kenny-Gillian became an onscreen pair, they have to sing a duet as well. Ah- that's why Gillian wasn't included in 'A Chinese Tall Story,' Gillian couldn't steal the spotlight in the film and duet right? If Kenny's next film is with Gillian, Kenny may become quite a popular artist indeed. Look at Alex and Stephy. Anyway, am I making any sense.

Yeah, let's all hang out more. 'Plan A' doesn't sound too promising but if Gillian is involved, no matter what, we have to keep our heads up high and support her regardless.

As for your question, no news has been released about its broadcast date yet. Perhaps next year. But I really want to watch it. Filming has already been completed a while ago. I don't want to finally watch it when a year or two has passed, that's just weird. Some series do work that way, misleading.

As for 'Plan A's' storyline, Dicky who is a comedic naval soldier will fall in love with a Pirate Princess and disguise himself as a pirate to get near her plus the mission of ridding the sea of pirates because he has been trained that Pirates are evil people. As Dicky and the Pirate Princess spend time together, their love blooms and Dicky changes his initial perception towards Pirates, they're just simple people making a living. And this is where Andrew comes in. In order to prove his strengh and intelligence to his father, he attacks the pirates because he is the son of a knight right? The series then develops on Andrew, Gillian, and Patrick's love triangle. For some reason, Dicky likes to portray characters with this type of situation. I guess, everyone in this series has their own weak spot and reason to be good or bad. Andrew feels inferior to Patrick so he constantly struggles to surpass Patrick while Gillian is his weak spot; making him feel powerless and yearning to win her heart, he actually does good deeds from the heart, not just a manipulation.

Yup. And I would be okay if Mani was encouraging Gillian in the music industry solo while Sa builds in the acting arena but that's not the case at all. All Mani wants is for Sa to shine in both areas, which gets very irritating to see. But it's okay, with every project, I hope that Gillian will only succeed and further improve for us, not awards or praises from her management.

Dicky and his characters are just repetitive; sometimes, when I watch his serials, I end up focusing on other characters even though he's the main character because his character development and arrangement is highly predictable, whereas people around him actually portray differently than what they are used to.

If Mani has decided to develop Gillian and Charlene in the two distinct paths, then I would understand why Mani would gradually be pulling Gillian away from films, at least for the time being, but those are obviously not Mani's plans afterall. Her plans are to send Gillian away to Mainland, keeping her from HK exposure, freezing her on her solo films, and cutting off any kind of exposure for her except for those as Twins. Mani's intentions are to only promote Charlene in both areas, and Gillian is just there for the time being. She likely just wants Gillian to fade off painlessly, but unfortunately for her, Gillian has still been able to succeed in her own ways, despite her interferences.

Yep, Jackie Chan is quite bold with everything he does, isn't he? I guess he just doesn't have anything to technically be 'afraid' of anymore. Golden Horse Awards really aren't based on the acting itself; it's more based on popularity, box office results, political influences, and the topics of the film. When we look at Everlasting Regret, we obviously see a film that has been highly invested in with effort and money, but it scores a complete zero at the Golden Horse Awards? I would say that the reason for that is because of the politcal influences. Anyway, Gillian's nomination at the Golden Bauhinia Awards speaks a lot about her potential. If Gillian ever had the chance to get nominated again, I hope it's for the same award ceremony again because it would let us know that Gillian was really being recognized for her acting. I'm sure she could have scored another one by now, if she had been given the chance to take a full shot at films.

Isabella is quite tall, and I find it a bit. . . unbelievable that she still prefers to wear heels. During a certain function, Isabella, wearing some pretty high heels, was standing next to Steven, and she looked even slightly taller than him. Maybe Kenny was glad that he wasn't the one to go with her that day. Anyway, if Isabella's partner was Andrew, then it would have been a different story. According to Gillian, Andrew is inches over six feet, so Isabella with heels would have been a good composition. Uh, with Gillian, it is a bit of a difficulty, isn't it? Andrew has got to be at least a foot taller than Gillian, likely more. Gillain said she had to use her own heels for the serial, which were about 4 inches taller plus a wooden box, and Andrew had to make himself look shorter, and they're still far off from each other. Wow. I have got to see how that turns out.

Yeah, didn't they get this really famous/talented person to be their producer for the three Nicholas+Charlene duets? We can definitely tell that EEG was investing in these duets. They had probably planned for the film and the songs to blow up in popularity, but unfortunately it turned the other way around. The Cantonese version of 'Love' could have been really popular because just with the promotions of the duet couple composing and writing the song together, a famous producer, the film; it just sounds like a good package, but they just couldn't have guessed that 'A Chinese Tall Story' turned out to be a flop.

Oh, how I long for a Kenny+Gillian collaboration. Really, besides hoping for a Edison+Gillian collaboration, despite it seems a bit impossible, I long for a Kenny+Gillian collaboration. A collaboration of KG seemed much more possible, but how you analyzed it, even KG sounds so far away now. 'Conscience Discovery' was a really nice duet, and it did do well, considering the zero promotions it received. I think the EEG version of their duet could have been a lot better, looking at those deleted scenes. All those deleted scenes looked really good, perhaps even better than those scenes that made the final cut. It would have been a better MV if EEG did a better job of editting. Kenny and Gillian definitely showed some good chemistry in those short scenes. Even though they've paired up so many times, they really haven't done any 'love'/'sweet' scenes together up until this MV. I would love to see KG in a film together, along with an all-new duet. Kenny is someone who synchronizes wonderfully with Gillian, or should I say that Gillian is one of the few people who synchronize well with Kenny? They should definitely have another duet together, and I personally am curious of what their chemistry would be like as a couple on-screen. The MV gives me a feeling that they'll make a good couple with good chemistry, but it's just not enough to judge. Believe me, if EEG were to smarten up and pull off a Alex+Stephy stunt with Kenny+Gillian, this KG pairing would be booming. I do think that Gillian will be a great help to Kenny in the film industry, seeing that EEG does want to promote him into acting as well.

From what I have heard, it will either be late this year or early next year. Don't worry, we won't have to wait one or two years for the serial.
