OMG! i just heard that maybe gillian might be filming TFWB after all
because she is attending the function for it in the 13 of June..
i really hope that charlene won't take the role because it is
so silimlar to all her other films...it would help alot if EEG decided to
give it to isabella since she is in the film anyways...
beside, the film has many problem in the beginning already...
i mean all those news about Wu Zun and now about switching the
female lead...i don't if it is a good promotion or what BUT i guess
the title never really got my attention...i think that gillian was asking
a favor from charlene so i hope that she can turn the film down

Finally, a part 3! Congrats! I love the two photos of her. She looks so cute and vibrant!

Anyway, I still don't know if EEG wants to hire her a dance teacher or not because my Chinese is bad. It might be her want to hire herself a dance teacher, I'm not sure.

Anyway, I'm glad that Charlene's isn't taking the role of TFWB. I hope she can take the role of Mrs. Smith. I want to see a sexy Charlene. lol.

The theme song of this movie is sung by Jim and Isabella but the mv is filled with Charlene. She's so cute in this movie. I hope her role is a challenge but from the moment, I think it's also one of those typical roles that she usually play.

Found an interview that Twins did with Scoop back in 2005. In this interview, they asked them do they ever take any acting course or sing one. Their reply was that they did but it was never long. They also expressed that they wanted Jim (Simple Actors) to be their teacher but his course are always booked, and whenever they have time, he doesn't and when he does, they don't. So no wonder Charlene jumped to 'Simple Actor.' She wanted to learn from him.

WOW, thread 3 already? LOL! Well "simple actor" seem like it'll be a funny, yet extremely typical Charlene movie. It seem like she's going to be one of the main character? IF not, the main? Gosh, I'm so behind with Charlene's movies. I haven't even watched Diary or Super Fans, and now she has a new movie with Jay Chou, and her Sifu Jim, Mr & Mrs. Smith, and one more with Miriam? I know it's great that Charlene has more movies to do, but what's with the overload of movies? It's always never too good to be in a whole bunch of movies/series in such a short time. The audience would get bored/tired of the artiste, and the artist would not be able to have time to learn about her character and or portray her best.

I haven't even bother to watch any of Charlene movie either. The last one I watched was Diary (Which was great). None of her movie seem very interesting and watching it is like Deja Vu of her other movie. Repetitive character and repetitive plot. It's making people annoyed for seeing her constantly, and it's really holding back her true talent. Charlene should just have about 2-3 film per year, that way, she can get in touch with her character, and also, that way she can choose a great movie to star in. I guess because there's too many director that wants her, EEG just pick random one.

Different from you, I watched almost all of Charlene's movies. Except for Next Station Diva and Funeral March. I haven't gotten the DVDs!

Is it me, or I can't see those pictures! I really would like to see those pictures can anyone repost it?? Also what is the plot of the story? Is it another comedy? Beside 'Leave Me Alone' and 'Heros in Love', I've watched all of her movies. I can tell that she has improved a lot from before. Hope her roles in the future can be challenging!

I think these directors/producers probably read or heard that article that said she's one of the top five actresses that can draw box offices earnings, so that is probably why they want to cast her in all these movies.

Though if Charlene gives a good effort and tries her best with every film, then at least there wouldn't be a lot of complaints that she can't act. To act in the same roles is very different than being criticized as not being able to act. That is why I want to watch all of the films she's done to see if her acting is maybe consistent or improved a little.

As for Charlene in those magazine scans above, wow....she looks so mature and stunning!

yeah, what is up with that? I mean, I hear they announce the movie 1 minute, than the next, I heard it's already done and she's filming something else, it's ridiculous how much film Charlene have, to the point that I can't even keep up with it. Back then, there's movie of Charlene that I look forward to, but now... it's like eh... So much movie, I don't even know which one I want to watch nor really care to watch. Until this day, my all time favorite movie from Charlene is still Diva Ah Hey and Papa Love you. I mean, at least those role still have meaning to them. Diva Ah hey message was to always go for your dream and never give up. And Papa love you (which I cried like crazy) show that you should cherish your family. But now, most of Charlene film are just pure comedy, it has no point and there's really no depth to it.

true...charlene get more priase for Dairy because it is something fresh and new...her acting was awesome...people who hates twins would always think that she is talentless but it is alright because i feel that charlene has proven so many time that she is talented! this years has been a good year so far as i believed...she has gain alot of praise with her acting as well with her composing...also her first directed MV is so BEAUTIFUL like her! charlene has grown up alot since the days she first started, when twins first started she was only a teenager and look at her now...being her fans for such a long time i feel so bless to see my idol grow up before my eyes...ahahahahahaha...i myself has grown up too but i still love charlene as much as the days when i first saw her! charlene never really got a chance to shine when it comes to film...i mean her films are not awards winning type of film except Dairy and Funeral March in which she won something for both films...comdey can't really get you anywhere BUT i still hopeing that something better would be coming up charlene's pathway..

EEG has something fishy going on...to me it seem like EEG is really using her to make as money as much as possible...is charlene's contract ending soon?? i mean so far she is push toward so many movie or maybe because charlene is one of the best selling actress?? i can hardly keep up with charlene's movie either...BUT this year i have my mind set on Jay and Charlene's movie...and if Mr&Mrs. Smith is confirm than that too... Simple Actor might be one of those cheesing movie BUT i would watch it because of charlene! i really liked "Papa love you" i myself was really close to my dad until i hit High school, i feel that i'm not as close to him anymore BUT i know that my dad still love me the same... i cry while watching the movie because it was a touching film! charlene should make films like that more often...i really liked Dairy too because charlene looked so scary yet Cute too in the movie!

But people who hate Twins wouldnt want to watch or see anything with them in so they wouldnt know if they improved or not. And they have improved! Lots and lots of people seems to think so too. Charlene has had many chances to show off her talents and in all cases she has done very well to prove that she has talent. I mean how many thiongs has she done already? She started off with modelling, singing, acting and at times in concerts Twins would dance, charlene has directed an MV for a Twins song and she's even got her won line of clothes. If she was talentless why would she been successful in all these things.

Charlene is an actress that has appeared in so many films. If you walk into a shop that sells DVDs there would be so many of the films that included Charlene in them.

But people who hate Twins wouldnt want to watch or see anything with them in so they wouldnt know if they improved or not. And they have improved! Lots and lots of people seems to think so too. Charlene has had many chances to show off her talents and in all cases she has done very well to prove that she has talent. I mean how many thiongs has she done already? She started off with modelling, singing, acting and at times in concerts Twins would dance, charlene has directed an MV for a Twins song and she's even got her won line of clothes. If she was talentless why would she been successful in all these things.

Charlene is an actress that has appeared in so many films. If you walk into a shop that sells DVDs there would be so many of the films that included Charlene in them.

i still don't get it because charlene has done so much to prove that she is talented but people seem think that she shine because of EEG...it is sad to heard people cliam those false things because they never once believe that charlene shine because of her hard work in the ET!! charlene has always shine in filmed either along with the crew esp. with Andy or out shine the crew. she has proven so many things and i'm proud of her! i heard that twins is taking dancing so i'm hopeing to see more dancing from charlene...charlene's have a lean and tall type of body in which when she dances it is very sexy and appealing! i love her long lean legs...they are just BEAUTIFUL!!
charlene's clothing line started along with edison in 2004 and it is very successful...she has many hiden talents!

i just watch the clip of twins at Alan concert and i must say that charlene did an awesome job because i understand that she didn't have time to practice...charlene and gillian forgot some parts in the beginning but it was okay! i love the part where Alan was holding charlene's hands...it was so sweet and very cute!

Ok, I think I made a mistake about the dance teacher thing. I've watched a news in Mandarin (agian, my mandarin sucks), and from what I can make out, they (as in Twins) wanted to learn dance from this famous Japanese dancer instructor but he's too expansive. Plus, they would have to fly to Japan to learn so they are hoping to have him come to Hong Kong with a discount. lol In here, she expresses that she wanted to learn how to dance.

Here's a clip of her in scoop being an image designer for Ken ( a new singer in EEG) and DJ Leo. She's so cute in this clips, and gosh, her sense of fashion is so nice. I like what's she wearing. Anyway, during the end of this clip, the two hosts were talking about her doing table dance in her new movie. And I haven't heard or read anything about being in a movie with dancing. Does any one know? Is this the reason why she need a dance teacher? Or is this the same movie of Mr & Mrs. Smith, where she has to learn how to be seductive? I don't know.

Here's an interview that she did with scoop this week I think. I haven't seen it so I can't comment.

Ok, here's another news about her and Gillian going to Japan to learn dancing, and of course shopping. lol. Girls, what can you expect from them? I love shopping as well. lol. Oh yeah, for those that are reading this thread and you're a Gillian fans, from this clip, Mani expressed that she's happy for Gillian to be able to work in such a good production, and directors and crew. So, she isn't like what Gillian fans claim, unhappy for her when she seems all smiles when discussing this opprotunity for her.

Ok, on with Charlene's movie. If she does film a movie that require to do table dance, that would be hot! But I do hope she can get some rest. From the photos that recently posted, she seems so tired. I would love to see on the big screen but only when she's healthy.

I believe she has improved since her first movie but haters will always have this misconception about her because maybe they refuse to acknowledge that she's talented indeed. They rather believe she couldn't act instead of admitting that she has the talent to survive in the industry. They always say that Twins uses their image and cute face to survive so I'm not surprise to see them in their denial state. I may sound harsh but I'm stating from what I've seen. I mean, she is talented. She had tried out many new things and has gotten many praises for it. I believe if the haters can just give her a chance, they can see the improvement that she has worked on so far. And I've watch many of her films and I can see the improvement in her, and in Gillian as well. Both of them are working really hard to acheive where they are today, not just by their looks.
