I've seen the 2 MVs that make up that mini-story. I love the songs to pieces!! But the ending is kinda sad..I think they should make a part 3!

Is Hao Ming on the newest season of Wu Dong Qi Ji? If so, I must check it out!! I remember seeing if before on Hunan(?) channel, but wasn't very interested. But if Hao Ming is in it, that's a different story...

omg, I just found out about him through yt and then decided to see if he have a thread on AF and bam, here I am. I don't know how to read Chinese so it's kinda hard to find out his news but thanks guys for sharing it here. I saw his two MV and yes, they're sad. I want a part 3 too!!! When I first saw the MV, he sorta reminds me of Lee Seung Gi ( in looks and singing with the sad ballads). anyway, hao ming is attending the newest season of wu dong qi ji which is season two.
and the newest episode, eps. 5 is coming this friday.
btw, i have to tell ya, on eps.3, hao ming was crying on the stage because he was so upset about the comments by one judge( Chen xiao chun from Hong Kong), Chen xiao Chun was mocking Hu Nan Channel Team which is the team that Hao ming in , plus he is the captain of the team.Hao ming was so angry, therefore after his performance, he tried to encourage his teammates, for me, he didnt say anything wrong. but for some ppl, they abused Hao ming after by saying that he was conceited or he tried to break up TVB and Hu nan team's friendship.
i was so upset after watching that eps., but hao ming did his best performance on that eps. ToT


DOREMI is a korean music co., because the current music co. hao ming is in now kinda sell him to DOREMI, but dont worried, hao ming's focus is still on chinese entertainment industry. by signing with a korean co, im pretty sure haoming would go further and further on his music career

yea. HM is from Guangzhou therefore he can also speaks cantonese and mandarin

HM stayed in korea for approximately one month, but it wasnt long enough for him to learn all kinds of dancing, i think he just learned the basic skill of dancing and singing in korea

I finally get to see Strictly Come Dancing. In episode 4, when they had to choose which partner they want, 3 of the girls picked Hao Ming. haha yes, Hao Ming is a ladies man and of course the fact that he's on top of the score board certainly help. Grace and Hao Ming are really cute together. I was searching baidu for clips of HM and I saw that HM dressed up in this fat silly costume to surprise Grace for her b-day. In another clip, HM wouldn't let Grace eat the snacks and gave her gum instead. haha

^Basically in that clip they were talking about how they need a name for themselves. Like on the web people have been combining their names in various ways to try and come up with a name for the pair, and they themselves havnt come up with anything yet. They also talked about how they were about to go against their opponent, which hasn't been revealed yet, and to look forward to their performances since they have been working hard.

Or along the lines of that I hope its accurate lol...

Anyways, can anyone tell me more about the girl who is HM's partner? Her name is Grace, but is she also a celebrity? I've never heard of her.

1st I would like to say that dance is so hot! Haoming is usually the type to sing slow, emotional songs and dance in a graceful style, but that was a totally different style he portrayed and he did a wonderfully! He totally deserved the high score he got

Secondly, why did the judges and hosts keep picking on everything that haoming said?? I mean, he was just thanking his teachers and trying to encourage his teammates, and the judge was like, don't be so showy and blah blah blah. Then haoming was saying how he was glad he did well on the dance and that he did it to prove himself and redeem himself and the host was like "haoming, thats unacceptable you should dance to please the audience and improve your skills, not just to seek redemption. You should get points deducted for that attitude"....so annoying..

Thanks for summarizing what they said b/c I don't understand a lot but from their tone of voice and expressions, I can see it was something negative. ^Thanks for the clip! How exactly does Strictly Come Dancing work? Do they always dance with a partner or just once? And how many dances does a contestant perform on one episode, and how does someone get eliminated? Sry, I'm a bit confused.

Wow, berries8, it seems like you can't understand alot of chinese, so how did you get to know Yu Hao Ming? Because I know that Chinese artists aren't known very well internationally because China's entertainment industry is not as developed yet. That makes me sad because there's always alot of English news and English subbed clips for many other artists that are from HK, Korea, Taiwan etc. And China always worships the idols from these countries, yet other countries don't pay much heed to Chinese artists...

ps. up till now, how many dances has haoming performed? I really want to watch all of them

I am not sure how Strictly Dancing work. I think they combined the scores of the judges and the audience and the lowest score gets eliminated. I haven't watch all the episodes. I just skipped to Hao Ming and Nathan from TAKE's parts. Each contestants have one dance for each episode. I know so far there are 5 episodes. The first week they have the guys then next week the girls. Episode 5 was the one with the couple dance. I hope the next episode, we have couple dances again. I like the interactions b/t the girls and guys. If they change partners, I want HM to pair up with Nancy Wu since she seem to like him a lot and she's pretty good at dancing too.

I was on a forum and they had a thread about Super Boys and HM stood out for me at first glance. He was sooo cute. Then I searched for his clips on youtube. I listened to him and thought he's not bad. Plus he was singing Cantonese songs on some of the clips and usually when I watch Mandarin shows, people rarely sing Cantonese.
I was like finally, one of the guys I like...we can communicate if I'm lucky to meet him haha . Usually the idols I like speak Korean and Mandarin, but for HM he can speak a language I can understand 90% of the time. Then I saw some fancam of HM in HK. He was so nice and friendly. Then I fell for him more when I saw Strictly come dancing.

How about u? How u come to know/like Hao Ming?

Last summer I went back to China to visit my grandparents, and I was bored and turned on the TV and bam the newest superboy episode was just starting. So I stated watching it, and fell in love with Yu Hao Ming at first sight. That was the episode he was eliminated on, and I seriously cried when I watched him go. After that I started paying attention to him and realized that he is not only very good looking and a great singer but also posesses a very kind heart, so yup now im totally obseesed

OK, so anyways I have watched up to episode 6, the newest episode of Strictly Come Dancing!!!
Hao Ming is totally awesome in it as I expected =P

Ep 1: His first dance was a tango. He did average, all 4 judges gave him 8's which is cool.

The judges said his arms weren't strong enough and he looked too exerted when handling the girl. lol

Ep 2: Ok, so the next week only girls danced so I'll skip that week.

Ep 3: The 3rd week Hao Ming portrayed an Egyptian pharoah, and his backup dancers were all mummies!! This was so cool, and HM was so freakin hot!! And get this---2 judges gave him perfect 10's and the other two gave him 9's!!! He ended up with the highest score of the night :

Ep 4: Then, it was time for pairing up!! When the girls got to voice their opinions on who they wanted to be with, 3 girls picked Hao Ming! He is really super popular
Anyways, he ended up with Grace Wong, a Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant runner-up. I'm pretty satisfied with her, she seems pretty nice to HM.

They did 3 different styles of dance all in one! The judges commended them on their courage, but all the other teams did very well so they barely escaped being in the bottom 2. It was mainly because Yu Hao Ming lost his balance at the very end, and I think he felt very bad about it

Ep 6: But...they successfully advanced to the next round and their 2nd couple dance totally rocked. In the dance, Grace portrayed an airport security guard while Hao Ming was the passenger under inspection. It was very creative, very well done.

That is it for now...the show has been put on pause for 2 wks due to the recent earthquake in China, so we will just have to wait patiently.

Oh one more thing. For eps 5 and 6, the couples with the highest votes got to pick their opponents first. On both weeks, Hao Ming and Grace were 1st by alot! Not to mention HM's score from the audience is always unusually high!! Yeahhh Jia You!!!

really really hope he could get far in SCD! WITH GRACEEEE! since they make such a fabulous pair.

btw, SCD will only continue airing probably in late Jun/Jul

and 3 episodes were already recorded. and the audience present would have known the results. PLEASE do not disclose them here co we dont want to be spoilers ya? haha. but having said that, i'll still condemn HUNAN TV for the decision to do prerecording instead of showing it live. UH. whats the point of the competition LOR!

It sucks with the spoilers. If they are going to make the show prerecorded, at least dont allow fans to go in and watch...

Oh yeah, trinity, I forgot to reply to this. I didn't know about it at first, but since you mentioned it I looked it up and I totally agree!! He danced so well then, and even better on Strictly Come Dancing!! In fact, I liked it so much I uploaded it on youtube!
