Yesterday popular group Fahrenheit appeared in Beijing for the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China one year countdown "A Small Change to Create City's New Brilliance" event. On the day, besides exchanging ideas about environmental conservation with outstanding university students, Fahrenheit also performed the new Expo theme song <Happy Beat 123>.

Onstage, Jiro Wang, Wu Chun, Calvin Chen and Aaron Yan sang and danced. Furthermore, in the MV for <Happy Beat 123>, the four of them led the crowd in doing gymnastics, using body language to cheer for the World Expo, advocating environmental development and awareness. When it was mentioned that there is often news about people damaging the environment during filming, Fahrenheit said, "We often see this kind of news and this distresses us because once the natural landscape is damaged, it's gone. When we're filming, we will throw out all out used meal containers together in a garbage bag and the staff will throw it away. Also, we will always use re-usable chopsticks rather than disposable ones."

As long as you're in a group, you can't avoid rumours about splitting up and flying solo. Naturally this also applies to the very popular Fahrenheit, often rumoured that there are members wanting to fly solo. "We just finished our concert and have so many endorsements that we have to do together, how could be disband? These rumours will obviously be proven wrong, we still have many dreams that we want to fulfill together." Previously it was rumoured that Wu Chun wanted to fly solo but lately it's been rumoured that Jiro Wang wants to go independent but Jiro said at the press conference, "Go independent? How could that be? I've never thought of doing that."

Wu Chun explained that even though he has constantly been troubled by his leg injury, he still danced enthusiastically in the MV for new song <Happy Beat 123> released by Coca-cola. He said, "Earlier, I was continuously busy with the concerts and didn't have time to rest. Now we've finished, I've been trying to rest as much as possible, I've even been walking less. Everyone saw me sitting in a wheelchair at the airport but it's not due to pain but because I want to rest a while so my injury recovers faster. Coming up we still have lots and lots of work so I don't want this injury to hold me back."

To welcome Shanghai World Expo one year countdown, yesterday popular group Fahrenheit released a new World Expo MV <Huan Le Jie Pai 123> in Beijing. Because his injury has not healed, Wu Chun was limping when performing live. However, he said that he's actively recuperating now. I understand what you mean, my guess is the same,that's why I didn't leave any comment about the article, just wanna share what I found XD.Honestly I don't want FRH to film Meteor Garden for real cuz they have their own fame now and the boys are good enough to have scripts for themselves. No need to remake or compare to anyone else. FRH see F4 as their seniors so I don't think they wanna challenge F4.

welcome to FLH's thread. At the moment there's no official information about all FLH member's new drama, including Arron. The same with their schedule form July-August. I guess at that time they have drama projects and recording for new album. Maybe no promotion events ^^"

Host (Bei): In 2006, a new musical group appeared on the Taiwanese music scene. These four sunshine boys quickly gained popularity and injected a sense of freshness, a ray of sunshine into the entertainment world. Three years later, this musical group has become more and more popular. Today, our Weekend News Club meets with these four sunshine boys. Let’s welcome this musical group from Taiwan – Fahrenheit.

Fahrenheit (F): Hello everyone, we are Fahrenheit.

Bei: Welcome, welcome.

Bei: Welcome to Singapore again. I used the term again because perhaps the four of you are no strangers to Singapore. You all have come before for promotion activities and concerts. I think I will ask individually what each of you like the best about Singapore. Let’s start with Wu Chun.

Chun: What I like the most? Since childhood, of all the places in the world, the country I have been coming most frequently is Singapore. Because it is closer and because I have many childhood memories of it! Shopping, eating, coming here is an enjoyment already.

Jiro: I like the air and the surroundings of Singapore the best. Even the most common washrooms, floor and road would be very clean. Everything is maintained very well.

Arron: If one day there is no work, coming here for Christmas would be pretty good because the holiday atmosphere here is very good, the surroundings are both beautiful and clean.

Calvin: I really like the roads being clean and neat. It is also very multicultural. There is also high rises outside. It is very international and has the feel of being in connection to the world.

Bei: We can tell what each person likes. There are both similarities and differences. This also tests the tacit understanding within a group. How do the four of them get along with each other normally?

F: This is a perception the media gave to everyone, as if the four of us had split up. However the truth is that even in our personal time, we often gathered together. When we have promotion activities individually, we would be more separated but we would still be concerned about how the others are doing. During the release of new albums, we would be together frequently for about three or four months. We are not always doing our own stuff and minding our own business in the way that was perceived by those on the outside.

Bei: OK, let’s talk about the new album. Arron had a tough time, having to hold the new album all this time. The new album is entitled [Loving You More and More]. This is an interesting title. Does it have any special meaning?

F: This third album is a beginning after the foundation is set. We hope that everyone would love us more and more. It also indicates that we love this job more and more to maintain our passion. So this name is used intentionally here. The first released song of this album could be considered a song to reciprocate our fans, sort of a song between our fans and ourselves.

Bei: You also have a charitable purpose for coming here this time – to go and visit the children in the Bishan Down’s Syndrome Training Center. I want to ask you, whenever people talk about charity, the definition of charity is different for each person. Some believes in spreading the word through slogans, some feels that charity can start with those around them. What is your definition of charity?

F: Actually doing charitable work does not necessarily mean that everyone needs to know that I am doing charity. However, we feel that as a public figure, we should be a role model. If we start participating ourselves, then those who like us, who support us would follow in our footsteps and participate as well. Seeing this, everyone else would follow suit. I feel that it would be a good thing. To be honest, it is not necessary to join a charity or a charitable organization or a foundation before something can be done. You can start with those around you.

Bei: Starting with those around you, such as your family members. You are all so busy, how do find time for your family. Take Wu Chun for example, you are so far from them.

F (Chun): Only through telephone. The number of days I can be home and see my family is less than a month within a year. Therefore each time I go back I would treasure my time with them. Because of work, I have no other choice and so I would treasure the time when I am back. I would arrange with the company that if I have three or four days off, let me know ahead of time so that I can make arrangements to go back sooner.

Bei: What about the other three?

F (Jiro): There is only me and my mother, so each time when I have to leave Taiwan, I would be very nervous. Each day, I would call her two or three times as if I am following the mealtime schedule.

F (Arron?): I hope that the time I spend with my family is very relaxing and happy because there isn’t much time as it is so I don’t want to bring home any negative emotions from work.

F (Calvin?): Last October my elder sister got married and I am the only male child left at home. Because I travelled so much, now whenever I am home, my parents would feel that they can rely on their son. I start to feel that I have a responsibility to take care of my parents. Since they placed their hopes on me, then I should be responsible.

Bei: Busy with their careers and still have to consider their family as well as doing charitable work every now and then. Today, these four boys of sunshine not only let us feel the warmth of sunshine they also let us feel the power of their love. I believe this power of love would make your singing career more and more successful. We wish you smooth sailing all the way. Thank you for accepting our interview.

Fans in Penang are very lucky this time! The appeal of Fahrenheit once again will sweep through Malaysia. Specially presented by DiGi and HIM Records, the [Loving Fahrenheit More and More Autograph Greet & Meet] will take place on May 29th. This time, Fahrenheit is making a special trip to Malaysia to have an encounter of the closest kind with their fans for their third album [Loving You More and More].

Fahrenheit who released their first album three years ago won the acceptance and support of fans immediately and allowed them to gain popularity quickly. Advertising jobs, endorsements, concerts and invitations to appear in drama followed in quick succession making the four of them incredibly busy. In these three years, each time when they released a new album, Fahrenheit had not been able to squeeze any time to come to Malaysia to do any promotional activities for the albums and to meet their fans. That had greatly disappointed the fans who loved them.

All this time, HIM Records Malaysia had been unflaggingly trying to arrange for a slot in their promotion schedule. Finally after the Malaysian concert on March 28th, the company was able to arrange a short two and a half day’s time for Fahrenheit to go come and meet fans who had long been waited for them.

Large Scale Autograph Session for 100,000 People

This time, under the careful planning of the organizers and HIM Records Malaysia, it was decided that the two precious days will be “given” to fans in Northern Malaysia and Southern Malaysia. On May 29th, Fahrenheit will fly directly from Taipei to Penang and travelled straight to Auto City in North Ryde and will hold a special large scale autograph session for 100,000 people at 9 o’clock in the evening. The sincerity of the four young men would surely and deeply touch the hearts of each and every single fan.

The next day, Fahrenheit will continue their journey and fly to Kuala Lumpur for their one and only press conference. Also, the co-sponsor for this event, FM 988 will also create a game segment and give 10 lucky winners a chance to participate in the press conference and meet their idols face-to-face.

Exchange Tickets at Kwong Wah Yit Poh

After staying a short three hours in Kuala Lumpur, Fahrenheit will next go to Johor Bahru to prepare for another large scale performance at The Zon at 8 o’clock that evening.

The continuous performances within 48 hours demonstrated the sincerity of Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit who had always been fond of their fans made the following promise to their fans through their record company: They will bring a series of surprises to the fans in these two autograph sessions!

Wu Chun Lead Everyone to Taste Fried Rice Cake Strips

Other than anticipation towards meeting their Malaysian fans, Fahrenheit also were in anticipation of Penang’s fine cuisine. Because they had heard that Penang was a fine cuisine heaven, the four of them felt very excited. Furthermore, they also had long heard high praises from their seniors S.H.E for the food in Penang, such as Fried Rice Cake Strips (chao guo tiao) and laksa (a spicy and sour soup). Hearing all that filled them with anticipation and they already made plans to have the staff bring them to try out all the fine food as soon as they get off the plane!

Penang’s Fried Rice Cake Strips was the favorite of the Bruneian-born Wu Chun. He indicated that he will be the tour guide to introduce the special qualities of Fried Rice Cake Strips to the other three.

He shared that there were many delicious food in Malaysia. Each time he came to Kuala Lumpur, in between work, the staff would buy a lot of native delicious food for their enjoyment. Their favorite was food that was sour and spicy.

Fans Could Make Online Recommendations

In order to search for native fine cuisine in Penang, the reputed “Fine Cuisine Heaven”, the staff in HIM asked help from fans in Penang. If anyone know any place with fine cuisine that they want to recommend to Fahrenheit, they could login to the HIM website (www.himmusic.com) and post details of their fine cuisine recommendations.

DiGi Customers Have Interaction on Stage

DiGi Wireless will bring a special experience to their customers and let them interact with Fahrenheit up close.

Sales Manager of DiGi Wireless said: [We are using multi-facet experiments and through different channel to bring music to our customers. Now, not only could our customers be able to enjoy Fahrenheit’s performance in close proximity, they could even go on stage and interact with Fahrenheit. This would be a rare and precious opportunity and experience.]

For this, DiGi set up a package for customers to download the songs from Fahrenheit’s newest album [Loving You More and More] for a cost of RM9.90 (website: digi.com.my/music, WAP website: wapmusic.digi.com.my or through text msg – enter GET FRH and send to 2000). The first three thousand download customers will each receive two tickets for the autograph session.

DiGi customers who downloaded this album could also enter the Fahrenheit text message competition. The twenty contestants who answer the most number of questions correctly will be allowed to go on stage and participate in playing games with Fahrenheit.
