SHINee drives noona fans wild, Friday July 4, 2008 Korea Options

SHINee of SM entertainment only debuted over a month or two ago and they’ve already got their batch of dedicated fans. In the form of noonas. This is old news and not unexpected since of course their first single is titled, “Noona is so pretty”.

They consist of leader Onew (19), Junghyun (18), Minhoo (17), Key (17) and Taemin (15). *Korean age*. The 5 boy idol group were originally aimed at the 20-30 ‘noona’ market and its obvious that its hard for the older women to resist their appeal. With plenty of noona fans found hanging around after performances to catch a glimpse of the cute younger men, I mean boys.

“over 90% of our fans are noonas.” Leader Onew mentioned. “The age gap is large, but the fans mostly see us as younger siblings.”

Since of course they are ‘noona’ fans, (which are basically older female fans as opposed to the younger girl fans, who are busy supporting groups like DBSK, Super Junior and Big Bang),

SHINee benefits from them more, as they are more likely financially independent.

Apparently the current Korean craze of younger men liking older women, goes the other way round.

haha...how funny it is to hear that they mean that Noona support them more because dongseang girls are to busy supporting DBSK and them haha....but don't worry Shinee you guys still have younger girls supporting you guys too, like my sis, the only one she is older then is tae min and she is still supporting you guysxD and one more thing, I don't mean anything mean with this, but i remmember that the leader is born in 1989 then he is 20 n korea and the other one is born in 1990 and is 19 in korea and then 18 and then 16 in koreaxD am I right? or am i wrong? I don't mean anything bad with this...

HAhaHAHa this was kind funnY! but i AGree! a lot of older women are supporting shinEE more cuz most of the younger one are busy with DBSK, Suju and the other bands.. LOls hahaha but im here for them!! lOSl love their song noona is so prety! lols hahahah Awesome choreography too! lols
