I seriously CAN'T believe that TVB gave Joey 'Asia Most Popular Hong Kong Female Singer' award, IMO, Charlene SHOULD have won the award, even Joey mentioned before that Charlene has the highest chance of winning it. However, I think EEG didn't want Charlene to win it so they tip it to Joey instead [whom was secondly well deserve after Charlene]. Anyways, still stock but I'm happy for Joey, she did a lot of amazing things outside of HK this year. It would have been harder for Twins to resurface if Charlene won the award anyways, oh well, at least we all know now that Twins will return in the future.

Joey had to either get most popular or Asia's most popular. TVB didn't want Joey to break Anita's record, so they gave it to Miriam, and that leaves Asia's most popular for Joey. I agree with you that Charlene should've got it as she is the most popular female hk singer in the Asia Pacific region. After her, would be Joey. It is ridiculous and silly, that just because of one record, Joey receives an award that she doesn't really deserve, and doesn't receive the award that she DOES deserve.

However, if you look at their achievements this year, Joey and Kay by far have the most successful year. lol, the newspaper this year usually if not only talked about the competition between Kay and Joey. It's surprising, imo, that Miriam won this year. Perhaps if Miriam had a blasting year, I would be really happy with the results b/c I really like Miriam as well. Now, I'm simply disappointed

Really suprised with the results, especially Miriam and Leo! Their speech was really touching, made me cry. However I didn't think Miriam was outstanding this year, I thought it could be Joey or Kay. Im happy for William and GEM, both deserved it, i actually thought Linda would get gold but in terms of vocal, its definitely GEM. Im happy for Kay too, her voice is soo unique and the songs amazing . Eric Tsang was really funnny and also wong cho lam haha xD

the results make sense and i am fine with them but they just don't feel right. like i can see the reasoning behind the decisions...but when you look at the results for the male and female awards, it feels totally wrong especially on the female side.

i'm kind of happy with the results and i think the results are fair except for the Newcomer Awards. Wong Cho Lam deserves it more than Bosco. Cho Lam's got the skills and Bosco should concentrate more on acting. That's just my personal opinion. No offense to all Bosco's fans.

Kay is outstanding and I'm sure she will have her chance for winning best female singer. As for Leo, well, I think he's okay, and it's about time for him to get it.

Just a bit disappointed that Vincy Chan did not win Best 10 songs. And I was also expecting Raymond and Vincy's duet to be in the winning list too. Other than that, congratulations to all the winners.

Joey admires Kay, as Kay admires Joey for their different and disparate styles of singing.

really? haha I heard good comments about her album. It sold relatively well too and CRHK played her plugged songs from the album quite a lot too. I thought Joey had a pretty successful year, she had a 14 night concert @ the HK coliseum and a world tour. My friend in HK, who's not a Joey fan, said it was really awesome.
