 Best Series Out of 2008! |

Wow the year for 2008 and year of the rat is over! So many things happened in this year. Like 5/12 in Sihcuan China with also a lot of celebrities getting married. And it was sequel year this year. Firrstly, the year started off with two sequels for "War on In-Laws" aka War of In-Laws II and "Survivor's Law" aka "Survivor's Law II." Then another one was "The Gentle Crackdown II. Nextly another sequel would be "The Seventh Day." Well I'm not sure if you can count this as a sequel but it was what everyone said it would be since it had the same cat but different storyline. Nextly with "Forensic Heroes II," same storyline and same cast with additional to two new characters. Next would be "The Money Maker Recipe" a sequel to "The Family Link." Last but not least, the series that everyoen knows of "Moonlight Resonance" sequel to "Heart of Greed," same cast with additional adding to some characters, but different storyline. Okay back to the topic "Best Series in 2008?" Which one will you choose? First things first, let's separate the questions into different categories for "Best Anicent Drama," "Best Modern Drama," and "best Series" overall of the year also ending question with "Best Anniversary Series?"

*On the side note: I believe these are all the modern dramas for theyear of 08, if I am missing any, feel free to talk and add them in.* Question Three: Which was your favorite and or best series overall of all the series this year? Question Four: Out of the two anniverary series "The Gem of Life" and "When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West," which one was your most favorite and or the best out of 08? My answers: Question One: For the best anicent drama, I would choose "The Four." The cast members for the male cast were excellent. All Raymond, Ron, Sammul, and Kenneth performed their best in the drama. The storyline was great as well. As for my favorite would have to be "The Four" and "The Legend of the Demigods." "The Legend of the Demigods" was a long wait for me. This series has been finished filming for some time, but TVB hasn't released it until this year. Linda's performance was great and quote. Her golden quote was nice as well. As you can see I have used her golden quote as one of my signature lines for my signature. "When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West" was a great one too. Charmaine was very nice in it. Her character was straight forward and fought for the woman, saying that what men can do like opening restaurants, etc. woman can do as well. Question: Boy a lot of modern dramas and a lot of them was very good indeed. I have too many favorites. First is "The Seventh Day." This series was great. This series was suppose to be last year's (2007) series, but it was released until this year. I have been waiting for this series to be released for a long time. The chemistry between Niki and Kevin was aweseome. Their third collaboration and their relationship/chemistry was better than ever. As both Kevin and Niki said, since they have worked together for so many times, their tacit understanding is great. Their love story in this series was so touching and they have a sad ending, but it was touching. Second was "A Journey Called Life." Just love Steven and Linda's chemistry. Second collaboration for them. Nice. As Linda have said this was her breakthrough performance and indeed it was. Third favorite is "Forensic Heroes II." Just totally love this series. It was so sad to see Ding Ding (Linda Chung) die. I was relaly hoping to see a continuation story between her and Frankie. Kevin and Charmaine's chemistry in this series waz excellent. I loved seeing the two together. I really hoped that they would have more series together. The scene after the car explosion in episode 29 I believe was very good. It really showed how much they loved each other and how mush they cared for each other. It was sad to see Kevin in a coma. Hopefully as rumors flow for "Forensic Heroes III," we will be able to see a continuation story between Kevin and Charmaine, where they happily await for the arrival of their baby as in "Forensic Heroes II" it was stated that Charmaine has a baby. Fourth favorite would be "Moonlight Resonance." Many people have stated that this series has many flaws and some characters were unnecessary, but I was delighted to hear this series being aired. Hearing all the news about it filming, the seris sounded too good because the original "Heart of Greed" was the talk around everywhere back in 2007. Hearing this series coming out, I was so happy. Linda and Raymond's chemistry was better than ever. Tavia and Moses was refreshing after I have liked seing the two together back in their series "Land of Wealth." They were too cute. But I thought Moses and Tavia's "getting together" was too quick. Maybe it would have been better if they have extended the series. Hmm...now my decision for best modern series... I really can't choose. The best series for me would be the four that I have talked about. Question Three: The favorite series out of the year for me. This question is so hard (pity me, I started the topic) I really can't choose. It's just too hard. How about: "When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West," "The Sevent Day," "Forensic Heroes II," "A Journey Called life," "Moonlight Resonance." Question Four: Between the two anniversary series of the year, I would choose "When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West." I'm not sure why, but I really liked the storyline. I really liked Charmaine's character, probably you can compare it to with her character as Wong Zhi Guan in the second generation of "Maiden's Vow," where she was fighting for woman rights. It was sort of the same in this series. What about you guys? Which was your favorite modern, anicent and best series for the year? Please share your thoughts and opinions and state them with your reasons. |

For Ancient series..i like The Four starring Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Kenneth Ma, Kate Tsui and Selena Li. It was the best series outta all the other ancient series because it had a GREAT cast!!!
 For Modern series..i like Moonlight Resonance!!! It's just awesome as...Great cast and great story! Also theres DIE which is very good! The 7th day was a good one too...It was a funny and sad story. And i LOVE Charvin in Forensic Heroes 2, they were great and i hope they're in FH3 as lovers again. Last one standing was awesome too..Roger and Kevin done great. Roger was acting an evil role and i think he done a great job - He was scary. I just dont really like yoyo in there but she was alrite. Hopefully there's also a LOS2!!! Overall..i still like Moonlight Resonance. It just has the BEST cast in it and the storyline is just perfect. The cast just acts great and brings out alot of humor and sadness to the audience. So..as you can see, i prefer modern series over ancient series and hopefully there's more modern series this year... I would choose The Gem Of Life outta When Eastenly showers..bla..bla..bla.. Because firstly, i dislike ancient series..and i HATE Joe Ma. He is just..so BORING... And i find the series boring compared to TGOL and the poster does not looks as good as TGOL. My friends even said TGOL is better and i totally agree...but i do have to say..i like Charmaine. There..Im finally finished.

I'd go with "The four" Question Two: Which is your favorite and or best 2008 modern drama? Question Three: Which was your favorite and or best series overall of all the series this year? I'd have to say "Forensic Heroes 2" on those. Just love that serie. |

My favourite ancient drama in 2008 was When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West.
For the best modern drama I will go for Forensic Heroes II. And my favourite series of this year is Forensic Heroes II, because the Charvin pairing was soooooo sweet. :thumbsup For me When Easterly Showers on the Sunny West definetely win. |

No other series have a cast that im this proud of! Really good and love the plotline - I would choose GOL too because i dont like WEFOSW. I find it boring...man, just thinking about it makes me sleepy! I dont really know about the ancient series but maybe The Four also...

Question #1: Either Legend of the Demigods, The Four, When Easterly Showers Falls on the Sunny West. LOD because it was a really interesting and light series, TF because it had great cast and was a greaaaat series <3 and WESFOTSW because it had a great cast and it kept me interested till the very end.
Question #2: Either TGOL or AJCL. I didn't really like MR or FHII... Question #3: Overall it would be either TGOL, LOD, WESFOTSW or AJCL Question #4: Probably TGOL - better cast and maybe a bit more interesting (: |
