光陰的故事

The setting is in Taiwan's 1950s to 1970s (and according to the screen writer, it would end on year 2000). Its story revolves around a certain village where you can find love and friendship. Each family in the village has a story to tell.

This is a an ongoing prime time series and is currently airing Episode 40 (Jan 15).

It's not an idol drama, but I'm sure you would really love this. The cast are great, the plot is even better and the whole series are the best.

Just search it on youtube, copy the chinese title!

Same here! haha. This is like the only drama that I watched this long without feeling that it's dragged. I hope they get the recognition they deserved internationally too!

Updates: shooting will end on January 20, 2009. Episodes will end at Episode 52~53. Three more weeks to go!

Wait for their episode in "Kang Xi Lai Le" most probably to be aired next week or next next week.
Guests include "Tao Ma", Weber Yang, Tender Huang, Tammy Chen and Xiao Tian Tian.

this story is the first i watched till this far and the sam i dont feel its dragged

and btw have i said that this drama rocks becasue its so true to life

like this ACTUALLY DOES happend..

i love idol dramas..but those are just soo bizarre to happend in reall life

hehe, It had decided to air on February 2, 2009 confirmed. Hehe, I saw the pictures of the taping in Weber Yang's blog album but he removed it already. And Tammy Chen and Huang Jia Qian will also host (substitute) Xing Guang Da Dao. After Rainie yang's episodes.

yeah, i heard about the week that they're not airing new episodes!..im like pretty addicted to this series, i can't wait to get home and finish work, and watch this hahaha this like my only motivation right now to finish all the jobs left. hahaha

at first this show didnt appeal to me at all and I just watched it because I was super bored. But after I started watching, I became addicted to it. I love the storyline. Everything happens in that small village and I love that feeling.

Right now alot of Taiwanese series don't appeal to me because too much of them revolves around sappy love stories which I'm getting pretty tired of.

OMGOSH! they wont air for a week =( I was looking forward to this show during chinese new year!

WOW congratulation on the rating ... i bet it's because of no YI MEI + YI YUAN for the past 10 days .. and as soon as Monday comes everyone stuck themselves on the screen ..

They said that Little Yi Mei will come on episode 49.

So that's mean that Yi Yuan going to propose to her by tomorrow and then we get to watch the famous "bed scene" very sooooonnn

honestly, im not really that excited on the news about the sequel. cos most of the time sequels end up badly... i hate generalizing but i would prefer them do a new drama but with same cast.
especially after all the controversy over tender's management company with regards to tammy chen...

the last episode was pretty predictable because all the previews released..!
but wow, this must be the best drama out there!!
and thats 52~3 episodes all of 2 hrs each.. that's equal to a 100+++ episodes idol drama. and I pratically watched it all.. hahahahha!!! i cannot believe on myself...

oh, i think the controversy is that one fan asked why there's no a picture of them together posted in their blog/website. and the manager replied that something like ""they have no contact privately (more like they are not friends), so its not odd at all that they have no pictures whatsoever... that's just all~!...everyone is just too much into drama, like if you want to have them together, isn't that too selfish...


and everyone just got mad because of the way the manager speaks.

this was a very good series so if they get a high rating it came as no surprise..........i love it ....and i finish the whole things i love the closeness tammy and tender shared.....in the series and how they are link together.....on how tender after tammy and how dense she could get lol.....i just love it all.....^^

This is a fantastic series! Although I'm Singaporean, and the 眷村stuff are really not close to my life, nor can I relate to living in villages like that, the storyline is really touching.

Does anyone know if there is definitely going to be a sequel to the show? During the last episode 王偉忠said that there will be 光陰的故事II right? Anyone out there has updates regarding it?
