紀佳松 Ji JiaSong (Blue J) held an autograph concert yesterday at 敦南 DunNan's ESLite Bookstore. Unfortunately, the weather was highly uncooperative! Workers burned 5 paper tortoises to pray for fine weather, but their prayers turned out to be ineffectual. Luckily, however, the enthusiasm of the fans didn't seem to be affected by the weather. Ji JiaSong's senior, Wilber Pan WeiBo, also showed up to support him. In addition to inviting Ji JiaSong to be the musical director of his 2009 World Concert Tour, Wilber brought with him a pair of gigantic red boxers. This symbolized their great friendship... they're so close that they could even "同穿一條褲子 wear the same pair of pants!"*
* Translator's Note: This is actually a well-known phrase in Chinese. It means exactly what I have already explained... that two people are so close that they can "share a pair of pants."

Although Wilber came to the autograph concert to support Ji JiaSong, his "Son of the Sun" nickname could not help the weather; the rain came down steadily. Wilber said jokingly, "It isn't my event today, so it's no use!" The two sang their duet, 同一個遺憾 [Tong Yi Ge Yi Han] [The Same Regret], together live.

Wilber's and Ji JiaSong's "representative" English letters, "W" and "J", were placed on the gigantic red boxers. The event host joked that the boxers actually fit Wilber's "before diet" body. Wilber protested, "How was I ever that fat before?!"

Poor Wilber! He always gets joked on about his "chubbiness." What chubbiness! HE IS FINE!

I saw their performance at the Channel V thing last year... I thought Blue J was very talented! Their voices are different--Wilber has more of an RnB style but I really really love that song from Miss No Good. Blue J reminds me of Evan Yo a little bit... he's sort of nerdy but cute because he's musically gifted. He's not just a dancing act--he really does hear and feel the music.

I've heard Ji Jia Song's album and it's definitely a fab!
I the duet he had with Wilber.

The lyrics could be better I think
I didn't like how they were basically repeating the same lyrics so many times...

But otherwise, both the tune and singing is really good. Makes me want to listen to the song again and again and I won't get sick of it. Their voice really goes well together!

I want to hear the live version of this song!

I think he looks just fine as he is now! asian people seem to mostly be way too thin anyway

wah, great... a world tour.. I wish I could watch that concert live

ooh, so glad to see wilber up and at it again! i've missed him! i'm excited to hear that he will be holding a concert tour this year and i'm really looking forward to that new album that he has said he is supposed to be releasing soon. support wilber!
