THE UNPREVENTABLE MARRIAGE (began shooting)

The korean comedy movie《Unpreventable marriage,The 》began shooting in a park in November 15...
At the beginning of the comedy, there's a dispute between two family in their first formality meeting.Kim Sumi(famous comedy actor, act as Malnien) and Lim zaimu
(the lately- rise comedy actor of the Korean comedy movie, act as Ziman) want to obstruct their children from wedding....
The movie will full of joke that make people laughing...
The two leading role, Ha sukjin(act as Kibak )and Eugene(act as Enhu) are both singers.They will have a love story as fashional version "Romeo and Juliet" ...

Malnien(Kim Sumi) and Ziman(Lim zaimu) both go to have a trip.They are organized to the same travel team, but they dont like each other...
The comedy tells that we(korean people) must keep our tradition even if we are poor...
Eugene has a taekwondo show with Ha sukjin...

It rained in the morning, but it was still warm that day .As the rain stopped in the afternoon, Lim zaimu wore the traditional tekkon(taekwondo) clothes and showwed some tekkon pose.......
Eugene also did some kicks , that made the crew clapping their hands....
After her first shooting day, Eugene said that she began tekkon trainning before the shooting and had practise when she's free,so that's didnt matter her too much....

The people of Korean will be able to see the romance of comedy 《Unpreventable marriage 》 in April,2007....

Singers-Turned-Actors: the Best and the Worst

In Korea, singers don't just sing to make a living any more. They try hard to map out a career cycle as entertainers, with the arch usually taking them into acting ventures of varying success. In soap operas particularly, some acquit themselves well. Others, however, provoke derision from Korea’s merciless Netizens for the way they flounce and pout around the sets.
In fact, the majority of soap leads are played by singers today. The Chosun Ilbo asked 14 writers and producers of hit dramas who the best and worst of the bunch are. We asked them to rank the top three in each category by giving three points to the best, two to the second best and one to the third.

Among men, famously ambitious Rain came top with a score of 29 for appearances in “Full House” and “A Love to Kill.” Praise was fulsome. "He successfully appeals to the public with his ability to express feelings in a sympathetic way and by making the transition from singer to actor very naturally,” one panel member enthused. "He’s a jewel. It would have been such a loss if he hadn’t decided to act.” In second was Kim Chang-wan with 13 points, followed by Kim Dong-wan with 10 points and Lim Chang-jung with 9. Mun Jeong-hyeok or Eric, who landed in fifth with 8 points, got mixed reviews. Some said he was “taking full advantage of his pretty face and ability as an entertainer." Others were less kind.

Among women, Jung Ryoe-won came top thanks to her part in “My Name is Kim Sam-soon.” Jung "is able to reflect her own natural image into the role she plays in the drama," one panelist said. "She works hard at learning her craft. If you look closely at her eye movement, tempo, breathing and reactions to her partners, you can see that she studies the script really hard.” Uhm Jung-hwa came second with 17 points and Eugene in third with 12. Uhm is said to be able to play a wide range of parts, have a lively spirit as an actress and act very naturally. Eugene drew favorable responses thanks to her fluent dialect in the drama “I Really Really Like You” broadcast this year. She was praised for speaking dialect very well, which is not easy at all.

Overall, Rain came top with 27 points, followed by Uhm Jung-hwa with 14, Jung Ryeo-won with 12, and Lim Chang-jung with 11.

Who, then, is the worst singer-turned-actor? Seong Yu-ri held the sorry title with 21 points, followed by Lee Hyo-lee with 14, Park Jung-ah with 13, Kangta with 8, and Eric again with 5. Seong, our panelists said delicately, "has starred in several dramas but still has a long way to go.” Lee Hyo-lee, who was featured in the drama “Three-Leaf Clover,” was denounced as woefully miscast. The glamour girl “did not suit the character of a factory worker,” they said. In Park’s case, the difference between the singer’s image and her soap character was also judged too glaring.

Eugene Kim is picked to be the new host for KBS Variety Show: Happy-Together-Friends' Actually, Eugene was the first female host to host the show with MC Yoo when she attended the show on 14th of February, 2005. 2 years later, she again become the host for 'Happy-Together-Friends'.

With regards to this matter, Eugene mentioned:'I felt that it was a pity that I didn't attend the show after that because I need to film a series at that time, especially when I felt that this a show which makes me felt extremly fortuante and happy.' Perhaps it was because of this reason, Eugene decided to host this show despite the fact that her new comedy movie:' The Unpreventable Marriage' will be shown on April 2007 at various Korea cinemas.

We have same point of view. Eugene was so superb in this film her versitility shown on this series. I also read good articles of her on this series. One of those articles is that the accent used in these series was very hard and yet she managed to portrait the role very well and it came out natural.

Well, even do she was not recognized still she's the BEST among the BEST.

One of the ever band, S.E.S's member Eugene, now is the new MC in《Happy Together-Friends》(KBS2).

According to the newest 《Happy Together-Friends》, our new MC was welcomed by so many people after the previous MC Lee Hyo-lee.

This time, the program makes people to compare S.E.S with FIN.K.L again because these two bands are very popular among the fans in Korea.

People write down some words said that she is so match with Ryu Jae-Si and though she is a new MC; her smile makes people feel fresh and comfortable.

Someone may think that Eugene is better than Lee Hyo-lee while others may agree that Lee Hyo-lee is more smoothly than Eugene.

Korean star Eugene will be going to Taiwan to promote her show "Really Really Like You" on 21st January 2007, She has jumped on the Korean charity bandwagon, and will be making sandwiches for charity.

Eugene, on her 2nd visit to Taiwan hopes to have more time on this visit to visit some of the popular places in Taipei. She had expressed that the previous visit to Taiwan everything was in a rush and did not really have time to get around, which was a pity. Eugene has been called "Kind Hearted Actress" in North-Korea, and has regularly donated to orphanages in North-Korea. This time she has brought some drama memorabilia from "Really Really Like You" for internet auction for charity, and the top 10 bidders will be able to meet Eugene up close and make sandwiches together. And all proceeds will go to a charity fund for orphanages and charity associations.

In the drama "Really Really Like You" Eugene acts as a presidential chef. She expressed: "To display an accent from the countryside, I had to work hard to practice the language and to learn how to sing the songs, and often will laugh uncontrollably during filming." She also expressed that she will try her hand at making Taiwanese snacks, to revise on her cooking skills. Eugene will be in Taiwan for a total of 3 days, and will leave Taiwan on the 23rd.

Last year "Really Really Like You" had received good reviews, and Eugene has become an MC on KBS2 for a variety show "Happy Together Friends". Eugene said that being an MC is a fresh experience after being an actress and singer, however she still feels nervous about it.

Yoo Jin(Eugene) to star in 'Innocent Steps' musical
2007-01-22

Former member of SES and actress Yoo Jin will star in a musical.

The musical 'Innocent Steps,' based on the movie, has double casted Yoo Jin and Yang So Min as the female leads.

Yoo Jin who is currently filming 'Motmallineun Gyeolhon (Unpreventable Marriage)' will be playing the role of Chae Rin that was performed by Moon Geun Young in the movie.

Young Sae who was played by Park Geon Hyung in the movie will be played by musical actors Choi Sung Won and Choi Won Chul.

The musical 'Innocent Steps' will start on March 29th until July 1st and will be performed at the Seoul Baekam Art Hall.

Eugene took the chance to meet some fans and held a charity event to raise fund for a child education program. An auction was held, where 10 fans were selected to make sandwiches together with Eugene as the highest bidders for the opportunity.
