What feeling do you get when a celebirties family member, such as a sibling decide to join the entertainment circle?
They usually burn out within 6 months, why is that?

Tavia and sister (Giseld?)
Kelly Chen & brother (victor)
Steven from Boyz and sister (don't know name but know that she acts in Heart of Fencing II)
Edison Chen and sister (don't know her name)


I think more celebrities are from the next generation (children) like:

Sam Chan (Sek Sau's son)
Jaycee Chan (Jackie Chan's son)
Nick Tse (Patrick Tse's son)
Hawick Lau (Lau Dan's son)

I know there are others but can't think of them now.

yes, i agree. usually they don't get as popular as their siblings. i guess that is just the trend.- and sometimes it might take a while for them to get up there.

well i think.. most of the times for those siblings cases.. one of them will be more popular, whereas the other one is least popular..

but as in.. 2R coming out at the same time, i guess they are both equal?

Cheng Pei Pei is Cheng Pui Pui in Cantonese, a famous martial arts movies actress in the 60s. If you saw Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, she was the evil teacher of Zhang Zi Yi.

Marsha Yuen is Yuen Jee Wai, first runner-up Miss HK in 1999 (same year as Sonija and Myolie). If you saw War of Genders, she's Yuen Yuen there.

Eugenia Yuen is Yuen Lai Kei, she was in the movie Three with Leon, portraying a dead corpse. She won an award for that. Hope that helps. smile.gif

Julian Cheung cousin is Anna Ueyama and I believe he is somehow related to veteran actor Dic Long also.

Grasshopper's Remus Choi Yut-Kit brothers with Choi Yut-Chi.

Grasshopper's Edmund So married to Winnie Lau.

Director/Actor Vincent Kok Tak-Chiu is the uncle of actress Kok Jo-Lam.

Sandra Ng's father is Hai Chun-Chau.

Lydia Sum was once married to Adam Cheng, they have a daughter together Yun-Yee.

Lau Dan is father of Hawick Lau.

That's all i can think of right now.

Vincent Kok Tak-Chiu is the uncle of actress Kok Jo-Lam?! I should have imagined that ! It's really rare to have surnames like theirs.. and I once thought about it as well..

they're using their stage names I think, Paul Chun's surname is Chiang, Sek Sau's surname is Chan
Jan Lamb & Jerry Lamb also has a sister called Lam Shan Shan (Ekin Cheng's manager)
