My wife has not been doing her duty as a woman for me lately. everyday she is suppose to clean and cook my dinner but lately she been telling me to do it. this is not what the man does, the wife should always cook and clean, thats what they are for. i work and bring the money home so she needs to do her part. what should i do with her?

The way the original poster is stating his concern sounds more like he doesnt care whether she works or not - she, because shes a woman, is supposed to cook and clean regardless.

well it shouldn't be the idea that she isn't cooking or cleaning that's the problem but perhaps its that she isn't doing her fair share of work, which would be much more plausible and politically correct. Although, personally I don't find any problem in not sharing the work equally, if it bothers you, you should tell her, but definitely don't tell her the problem is because she doesn't cook and clean, that's a pretty out dated custom in this day and age. (and especially bad timing since this month Time did a study on woman's rights/lives in comparison to the past)
