It's kind of sad that someone wants to sterotype cantonese female personalities. There is no way to tell you what their personalities are. Why? Because all of them come from different parts of the country and or world, and have complete different experiences. Morales, values, ethics, beliefs, habits, etc all differ from girl to girl.

If you want to know some, go and befriend some. Don't sterotype them.

Whether or not they are ideal for a relationship, that is for you to judge on that one girl, not on all.

Indeed, you can' t stereotype them... But Cantonese girls or not, girls are girls so they should behave like girls in general xD (well duh.... -.-')

They might act differently because of culture etc.
But that's for yourself to find out when you get to know them.. That's the whole meaning of being friends/dating isn't it? xD

Well by Cantonese girl I think you mean Girls from Hong Kong or Guang Zhou. Those are the only 2 places that have Cantonese as the main language.

I only know girls from Hong Kong, so I'll comment on that.

Of course you cannot generalize all girls from one country, because everyone is different. However, in general these girls are into fads, talk with heavy cantonese slang and are just talkative in general. Not all of them are like that, but the very stereotypical ones are, and you'd be surprised how many of them fit in that category. However, they are not bimbos and/or stupid, they are actually very smart and can be quite mature thinkers (at times), but you won't get to see that part of them unless you become rather close friends. Otherwise you'd just be talking about fads and jokes with them.

You can't really stereotype girls that speak Cantonese because everyone's different.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by the question as well.. do you just mean girls that can speak Cantonese, or girls from Hong Kong and parts in China that speaks Cantonese?

Yeah, why are you stereotyping? One of my friends thinks that Cantonese girls are all yada yada, all those craps stuffs in a half kidding half serious way, but he likes one. And hey, I told him I am Cantonese too. So like ah.....it really depends what kind. But hey, every ethnicity or whatever u call it have good and bad pplz/personality. Just because we are Cantonese does not mean we have good or bad personality right?

Cantonese people are not all happy people, that goes for any race. That's another sterotype. Please get away from those.

Every race does have their good and their bad, rude or good mannered ones as well.

I'm Cantonese, I can be as evil and moody as I wish and or as sweet as I want. Sweetness is in my nature, but not for everyone else.

There's no one "set" of personality of a certain culture of girls. You just have to go out there and start hanging out with a group of Cantonese girls, and find out what YOU like.
