asked one out but then changed ur mind, is it very rude? Options

There's this girl that i think she likes me from few months ago, but i know that i don't really have feelings for her but actually like another girl alot. The girl i like is my closest friend, but i'm too afraid to be with her and not planning to ask her out because i don't want to put myself in such serious relationship for some reason. Anyways....recently i was being close with the girl who likes me, and one time, by accident, or maybe for a moment i wanted a gf, i asked her out. She didn't really give me an answer by that time, but after a while i was like "oh my.....what did i just do..." Then few days later, she started talking to me in another way as if we're in relationship, and throwing tons of hints to me that it's a "yes".....

So now i don't really know what should i do....it's not that i don't want to be with this girl, i'm just afriad that i'll hurt her eventually because i'm actually liking someone else.....but i don't know if it'll just go fine after we start.....should i try?

isn't it obvious, you have to tell her you are in love with someone else atm. you will hurt her feelings if you do. only ask her to be your gf if you really like her, and want to give her a chance, otherwise you will put yourself in a bad predicament.

i think that you should tell her straight out....if you get into a relationship with her rite now she will just feel worse later on when she finds out....better now than later

In theory, if she didn't actually say "yes", then you have no responsibilities to her as a bf. In theory, if you date another girl, she cannot complain because she didn't give a definite answer. It's all theory. IMO, unless she gave you a definite "yeah let's date" then you hold no loyalty to her. Don't try unless you actually see yourself going somewhere. It'll save both of you a lot of heartache.

Don't play with other feelings! If you don't want this girl who like you to be as your gf then don't ask her out for a date!
She probably thinks you want her!
But that she already start to talk to you like you were already in a relationship, is weird for me.
Just be honest. You can't have both girls!
