hair question, thick, straight, hair Options

im born with straight, thick, hair. its really hard to work with. it gets really puffy after showers. i tried good shampoo and conditioners. it was better but i couldnt achieve the results i want.
theres a lot of proteins and water in my diets.

my friend told me about this technique sth about waxing my whole head or shaving my head or SOMETHING. and these GORGEOUS hair would grow.
i dont mind waxing my whole head. i mean i buzz cut my hair before.

im kinda skeptical because i thought hair was in the gene pool. does it even grow back? like no bald spots right?

anyone heard of this?

I also have thick straight hair and I feel lucky. People tend to want what they don't have and I often get compliments from others about my thick hair. Just learn to like what you have...

lol you wont get bald from shaving your head bald it'll just grow back. My bf knows of his familys genes and it comes with balding genes so he doesn't care, he just keeps saving it all off and it keeps growing back.

I'm not the least bit sure about the waxing thing though, sorry.

If you wax your head
it's going to take a lot longer for it to come back
but it'll come back
in around 3 months the hairs will start growing again

you won't get bald spots though

I will have to say
do not wax it
shaving is fine but
waxing won't do anything except just make you wait longer till you see a little bit of hair on your scalp again

when you do shave your hair off though
and grow your new hair
it'll be virgin hair, so your hair will be in really nice quality
but why would you want to wait that long for your hair to grow back??

I know what you mean, and if people don't have your type of thick hair, they don't know it that it's not a blessing at all.

Try flattening the hair out a little bit by wearing a beanie or cap for a little while after you shower before you sleep. Next morning the hair should be a bit better to work with instead of sticking out straight up with no hope of any styling.
