She won a singing contest, that's how. Not being good looking doesn't mean, not talented. Looks change. What's the first song you're talking about? Don't Know? cuz that did pretty well and what other real singers that can sing? Can she not sing? and by looking at EEG, Joey sings better than a lot of them by a long shot.

well, they are from EEG. They normally have all the newcomers that needs more pracrice in singing. That's proabably why they have to listen to everything their bosses tell them or else they're out!
Even though Twins have been around for a long time, they're contract was for six years! Now it's coming to an end so, if they dont another contract then I'm sure you'll be happy then! But, they have improved so much since they started. They can sing better live now! Maybe ocassionally they're out of pitch but so do some other artists.

I think Twins did. I mean if you think about it, they aren't good singers and they aren't the greatest actress so they will have to scafice something in order to gain some fame. I believe that Joey and Yumiko did it as well. Not only do singer sleep with other but TVB actresses and ATV actresses as well. You probably think " Oh, I don't believe it. I doubt that Flora, Ada, Tavia etc sleep with someone but they do sleep with director in order to get leading actress character.

I remember these rumours. Prior to signing with EEG, Joey was with some company I remember and they dropped her or something. So her career wasn't really going anywhere then all of a sudden she signed onto EEG. At that time Grace Yip and Lilian Ho (also another singer who was rumoured to have been one of his girls at the time) were with EEG but Joey began to really surpass them. Joey is indeed more talented and known for her singing skills but that wasn't the case years ago when she was struggling to make it as a singer. I remember hearing about Twins sleeping with Albert and Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan should have a thread of his own if he doesn't already. Yumiko Cheng was also with a girl band in 3T whom really could not sing. Then all of a sudden Yumiko was singled out and went solo, which I found was a bit strange. But who knows...

Entertainment industries, especially Hong Kong's is quite cutthroat with new competition everyday. To sustain their popularity is not an easy task. So it shouldn't come as such a big surprise.

i am 100% sure twins and joey and other really did sleep with boss, theres is no reason one will get famous withn such a short time and guess was it worth for a company to invest on them, like to spend millions on them, not mentioning there are better and talented singers out there. We are using our brains...or at least I am... people CAN force you to do something you don't want to. LOL especially Albert Yeung... with so many people backing him up.. he can make Yumiko, Joey, or Twins go and tell the media that they do have sleep with him if he wanted to just to embarrass them.. but I doubt he'll do that.

The first names that come to mind was Twins and Yumiko. Oh god I'm sorry to fans, but its true that Twins/Yumiko are talent-less.

Mandy Chiang prolly didn't sleep with her boss, that's why she was in a duet with Don Li and her potential was gone. Maybe Mani/Albert found that Yumiko was crap (IMO she IS crap) and broke up Don and Mandy and made Mandy go solo, because Kenny going solo was good for him.
