~ Jolin inadvertently bumped into Show playing the piano backstage and expressed her interest to learn. Show offered to teach, and got his friend Jay Chou to chip in as well. This move sparked the beginning of a special 3-way friendship bond.

2001-2002

~ Show’s 2nd album ‘Expert Show’ did well and his star status was boosted.
~ Show and Jay Chou were guest performers at Jolin’s Taipei J1 concert. Show went on to perform with Jolin in her other concert legs while Jay was only featured in the Taipei concert.

2005 (Heartbreaking year for SJ)

~ Show was spotted in Japan with Selina during the Chinese New Year holidays
~ Jay Chou was photographed holding hands with Patty Hou in Tokyo also during the Chinese New Year holidays.
~ Show was seen visiting Jolin’s house frequently. Show stood by Jolin’s side through this difficult period. He made it straight with the media that Jay and Jolin were just friends and pleaded with the media to leave Jolin alone. Show also attended some variety shows with Jolin during the release of her first English book and helped her deflect the inevitable Jay Chou questions.
~ Jolin released her third album with Sony BMG, ‘J-Game’
~ Show’s father was in and out of hospital with a chronic liver disease. Jolin was photographed visiting the hospital to lend moral support to Show and to console Show’s mother. His father eventually passed away days before Show’s birthday.
~ Show was nominated for the Best Actor award in the Golden Bell Awards. Jolin cried during her teleconversation with Show because she was too happy for him.
~ Show invited Jolin to rap in his new song ‘Zhen Ming Tian Zi’.
~ Show released his third album ‘Hypnosis Show’. Jolin made an appearance in one of his autograph sessions to perform together.
~ Show held his first concert in Taipei Colliseum, with Jolin as a special guest. After the concert, Show went backstage and gave Jolin a big hug.
~ When Jolin was guest in Yu Le Bai Fen Bai to promote her concert DVD, Da S quizzed Show on why an SJ romance was impossible. Show explained that Jolin was his idol, and idols are meant to be worshipped from afar.

2006

~ When news broke out that Jolin may be one of the Taiwanese starlets involved in the Edison photo scandal, Show stood out to defend her and to advise the media against accusation without proof.
~ Show and Jolin showed up in matching outfits at a Valentine’s Day event and at a Kangxi event in Shanghai.
~ Show was inducted into the Pepsi family. Show and Jolin attended the Pepsi event in Hong Kong.
~ Show and Jolin were seen together in Japan a week before his birthday. Both clarified that it was a trip for work, not leisure.
~ Show and Jolin showed up in HK together for the filming of the Pepsi TV commercial. Upon landing, both of them ignored each other and the media.

And with that I break my silent reading of this thread. I think Show & Jolin are adorable, she really seems to come out of her shell and light up around him. It's nice to see friendships (and that ambiguity, of course) so close and so lasting in the entertainment field!

Well said! Jolin is always labelled as 'haughty' or even 'arrogant' when the truth is, she is a little reserved. However, she does show flashes of her true cheeky self especially in YLBFB and the reason is because of Show.
Non SJ-fans can come here and criticise all they want, in a way they're helping this thread move faster Soooo...thanks for helping us move a little closer to Part 2 of this thread! But anyway, thanks for pointing the 'lost wanderers' in the correct direction.

Dear all...

It's been a while since the last time i posted something here .. been quite busy , plus there is not much news about SJ .
Jolin is on holiday until end of December and Show is busy filming for 'Shanghai Sweetheart' .

However , there is a news on this website entitiled "Rainie Yang revealed: Show Luo has pink Hello Kitty pajamas!" (refer to the Asia news section)

And doesn't that sound weird for a guy to wear Hello Kitty , in which we all know that Jolin's favourite toy collection is Hello Kitty . There's one time Show mentioned in a variety show , that Jolin has a collection of Hello Kitty train in her house ..

What makes me wonder is : Does the pajamas Show wore bought by Jolin ? imagining ..
