it is available in pharmacies in some countries but you still have to know your limit for taking the pills and besides there is direction of use on the cover right???read it.....and i know this pill can be addictive so if you never try them don't start trying them.

Well change the bottle of sleeping pills into something like vitamin pills? Say that it's a new kind of prescribed sleeping pill. Or consult a professional ~ doctors. They should have an idea on how to stop them. And if they finish a whole bottle of sleeping pills, then don't let them buy/get another bottle!

~ unless you're the one who is addicted to it... worship.gif jk

seek professional help ... sleeping pills aren't addictive are they? ... I used to have to take Ambien for my anxiety and insomnia ... but after a little while it went away ... if someone is taking them excessively than I think they have a problem bigger than not being able to sleep ... refer them to a doctor ...

the sleeping pills are not in bottles form...and I guess the person who eats it, are so used to seeing it that she knows the difference.......
yah, pharmacy shouldnt sell it without prescription and at one time, I felt like writing in to complain about the pharmacy who sold the sleeping pill....but I have no help, I really do not know who to write too.........i even asked help from an adult fren, but he din reply....

yah...sleeping pills are addictive.....and this person has misused it...

once, she went to the sleeping disorder specialist but once the specialist told her to seek help from a pychologist, she doesnt want to visit that hospital anymore...I cant do anything as she has the authority over me, and whatever she does seem to be the best and correct one...her partner just does not bother about this...

i'm getting sick of this situation

well ... that person doesn need to see a psychologist ... co'z this problem is definitely deeper than not being able to sleep ... maybe you need to seek help from someone who has authority over that person ... there are some hospitals or clinics that will treat people with problems out of concern from friends and family ... maybe you or someone should ask the doctor or psychologist the best way to handle it ...

Do you take sleeping pills to help you sleep? And if you do, how many pills do you take?

My sleeping patterns are cyclical. 1 cycle I can sleep normally without the help of sleeping pills, but the next cycle, I need to take sleeping pills every night. I take 5 pills at one go. My doctors aren't too happy about it, but I can't help it. I can't sleep. Sometimes even with 5 pills, I still have trouble going to sleep.

If that's the case you should really try counting sheep or numbers when you sleep. When you can't sleep it's usually because your mind wanders and you're thinking too much. Clear your mind, and think about nothing at all. Try to see with your eyes through your eyelids, if you know what I mean and you'll usually see a blank wall, and just stare at it without thinking for about 5 minutes.

Relaxed concentration is the best sleeping pill.

My mind isn't wondering. I've tried laying in bed for 4 hrs without moving & not thinking about anything at all. But I still can't sleep. I get into a between awake & asleep state. Not really asleep, but not fully alert awake. But thats more tiring than being awake.

Maybe you're just too stressed out to sleep well. If you have a fullfilling lifestyle most can sleep well. Basically I'm talking about a life that gives you a sense of accomplishment, like saying you're proud you live the life you do.

If you can't sleep might be because you're bothered by something that seems to have no end to it.

i suggest you not to take those because your body adapt and you will take more and more to get the same result you can try exercising i know that really do help you body fall asleep faster, first hand experience. i use to have trouble falling asleep to but when i exercise i sleep earlier and faster

You really shouldn't rely on sleeping pills on helping you sleep...have you considered listening to some relaxing music before you sleep? or like some people say drink warm milk? i hate warm milk but it might help you, like all drugs taking sleeping pills can have addictive qualities, or you could consider herbal medicine? I have never taken sleeping pills in my life, if i do suffer from insomnia it all gets a bit too much after a few days and i'll get really tired and end up sleeping anyways..
