According to sources, among F4, it has always been Jerry Yan who had the highest fee, who is currently filming “BSJT,” but only receives 70,000 per episode, originally a friendly fee for Director Cai Yue Xun. Actually, Jerry’s current fee reaches up to 100,000 per episode, excluding his ad contracts, pictorials and other projects. Therefore, Jerry Yan would be receiving 14.75 M revenues to become F4’s highest earner. Because of Jerry's total 14.75 M income, Zai Zai became second and No.3 is Ken Zhu with 7.10 M earnings and lastly, in the No.4 seat, is Vanness Wu with 5.58 M. The income of these four is also fully considerable. Translated by Jerry’s Kingdom. Thank you for the credits. But in Jerry Yan’s BSJT, he neither collected the 70,000 dollars per episode which according to sources, was the friendly fee he asked from Director Cai Yue Xun. In fact, his current price already reached 100,000 dollars per episode. In the yearly F4 total income, its still Jerry Yan with 14.75 M dollars earnings who rules the top earner crown. "Meteor Garden" Japanese version, F4 stirs Asia
Tao Tai Lang remakes TV series, to be broadcasted next month Taiwan's "Meteor Garden" was very popular after broadcasting in Japan, making the Japanese have the thought of remaking the 21st century "Meteor Garden." TBS TV station took the first step and already decided that in October they will broadcast Japan's version of "Meteor Garden" starring Matsumoto Jun, Oguri Shun, Matsuda Shota, and Abe Tsuyoshi as "F4." Taiwan's "Meteor Garden" stirred up Asia, the charm of Japan's F4 is something to look forward to. Matsumoto Jun, from the group Arashi, will be take on the role of Dao Ming Si. Matsumoto Jun expressed that because of his sister's influence he had watched this anime before. At that time he really liked the story and thought that Dao Ming Si was really handsome. He hopes that he'll have a breakthrough performance this time. Matsumoto Jun was one of main figures on the highly rated Japanese drama "Gokusen I." TBS believes that with Matsumoto Jun's experience and popularity he'll be able to bring out the leadership to play the role in "Meteor Garden." Japanese anime/manga artist Yoko Kamio's famous campus anime/manga "Meteor Garden" had sold 4,800,000 copies. In 1995 it was made into a movie starring Uchida Yuki. Taiwan's super idols F4's "Meteor Garden" shot to fame in Asia, making Japan energeticly prepare for the new version of the drama. This drama will be broadcasting starting next month on the 21st at 10pm on channel TBS. Awwww, this makes me kinda upset!! I mean, F4 is the original! It's really obnoxious when they try and copy the EXACT same thing.
Will they be following the exact plot of MG, or will they be following the exact plot of HYD? Because I know those two plots differed. I mean, I guess it's only natural that MG be brought back to Japan since it started from a Japanese manga, but stilllllll. I feel like this is just so cheap, all these different groups trying to rip off F4's fame. And isn't Inoue Mao a bit too cute to be Shan Cai? =P She doesn't look like the fight-back type. But then again, I am HEAVILY HEAVILY biased. Matsuda Shota LOOKS like Ken though. That was kind of freaky. Aww, I'm still upset about this, lol. F4 is still the best though. Er, that is, the TAIWANESE F4 =P |

QUOTE (chenny @ Sep 7 2005 9 43 PM) thanks. 14.75 million dollar NT is only 567,307 canadian? thats not alot considering thye are one of the top celebs in taiwan.. Well, everything else in the economy is also relative =). For example, 8 Chinese RMBs equals a USD, which also isn't a lot. But CDs there cost about 5rmb/disc [bootleg] or about 40rmb/disc [legit copy], whereas in America, a CD is about 10 bucks, which is 80rmb, which is still a lot more expensive. Food and stuff is even cheaper! =D And clothing is cheaper too =D So don't think of as Canadian money, think of it as them making 14.75 Canadian dollars in Canada, except they live in Taiwan. That was confusing, wasn't it? xP. Mmm, F4. I wonder how their income is in comparison to other big celebrities, like Wang Lee Hom and Andy Lau. |

Er, that is, the TAIWANESE F4 =P i think they are going to follow the plot of MG since F4 are really popular and well-liked in Japan right now. hehe, im glad that F4 made it into the Japanese market, and that the Japanese are remaking an MG because F4, even though the manage originated from Japan itself. =) F4 favor love between an older women and a younger man The four members of F4 seem to particularly favor the type of love between an older woman and a younger man. After Yan Chengxu and Lin Zhiling, Wu Jianhao and Xu Ruoxuan, Zhou Yumin and Xu Xiyuan (DaS), lately it is said that member Zhu Xiaotian and Lin Xielei have also sparked love. The two caught each other's eyes when they were together in Beijing shooting the movie 'The Big Far East International Trial'. Zhu Xiaotian was greatly fascinated by Lin Xielei's maturity. Furthermore, she was once his dream lover. Now that he was at a vantage position, naturally Zhu Xiaotian tried to make use of the opportunity. During the filming, he often went near her and teased her to laugh. He was attentive and took good care of her. Moreover, Zhu Xiaotian can sing and play musical instruments and can also cook a few delicious dishes. He is also experienced in romances. So he quickly won her heart. After returning to Taiwan, the two dates frequently. Their romance looks to be progressing rather well. Their friends all know they are dating. Zhu Xiaotian used to date girls of his age, but now is going out with Lin Xielei. They have different personalities. She is an introvert and likes to keep a low profile. Moreover, many people pursuit her. He is lively and likes to socialize. So friends don't think their romance is very promising. Some people suspect that this is just a promotion trick for their new movies. On the other hand, the romance between Zhou Yumin (Zaizai) and DaS seems to be getting clearer. Earlier, rumor had it that DaS had visited Zaizai in Qingdao. As for whether his 'good friend' had shown up, both Zaizai and his manager denied it. But when asked if he hoped DaS would visit him, Zaizai said he certainly hoped so! The more friends visit him, the better it's. English translation: laiou2002 (www.vicpower.net) Vanness Wu and Zaizai have become sought-after cover boys ![]() Vanness Wu and Zhou Yumin have graced the covers of several magazines in a very short period of time and are called 'Cover Boys.' Lately it's been said that Vanness has reconciled with Vivian Xu. He will represent F4 and do promotion in Hokkaido. He is prepared for the Japanese media to question him about his romance with Vivian Xu. After F4 published their photo book in Japan, quite a few magazines have sought them out for taking pictures. Among them, Double V, Vanness and Vic, is the most popular team. There are already 4 magazines on the market featuring them on the covers. Responses to these magazines are great. F2 say smiling that they guarantee to sell magazines. If Jerry and Ken had joined them, the magazines would definitely have sold to the roof in Japan. 'Meteor Garden - F4 World Exhibition' has been held in cities such as Tokyo and Osaka. The circuit exhibition will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido on Sep. 16. This time Vanness will be its promotion ambassador. He will be in Sapporo on Sep. 21 to meet fans. Earlier, news came out that Vanness had broken up with Vivian whom he had dated for many years. But, lately there are rumors that they have reconciled secretly. Up until now, Vanness hasn't made any comments on it. The Japanese media are also very interested in their romance. They have been calling Vanness 'Vivian's ex-boyfriend." Because Vivian used to live in Japan, some media even guess that she will be a guide for her boyfriend. Reportedly, Vanness is prepared for the Japanese media to ask him about the status of his relationship with Vivian. Taiwan-produced idol dramas have become very popular in Japan. Silence is still in production, but a Japan TV station has already bought televising rights. Zaizai as one of the main characters is very excited about it and he hopes it will be broadcast in more areas. English translation: laiou2002 (www.vicpower.net) Regarding VanNess’ Tokyo Fans Gathering, F4ever will announce the application procedures later today, please pay attention. We will try our best to achieve maximum capacity so as to accept all applied members. Due to the high production cost of this gathering plus overwhelming response from members, the gathering application will not open to non-members. Thank you. The Jap. actress they chose to play Shancai is very well-suited for the role, young & cute, afterall, she is playing a high school student. I love her looks, can just imagine her being feisty & spunky & at the same time looking so cute. Definitely will have lots of boys & girls falling for her. For the actors, think they cld have done better, the actor who is playing DMS is too soft looking, not at all like the DMS in HYD who is very macho.

Wasn't it that they were only know as F4 because of MEteor Garden, and never really claimed themselves as a group until we, the fans, made them a group by calling them the F4??? So, really, they never really were a true group nor did they ever break up. They just want to procede in their dream and goals. But, I do love them too. So, hopefully they'll do a new series together again!

F4 and Rain cannot attend Disney Hong Kong Opening Events
Rain, because he is currently shooting a new series can’t go. Nevertheless, popular Disney Hong Kong still invited him to come. (Singtao Daily news) Coming from Taiwan and Korea, thousands of fans, F4 and Rain were all invited to come to attend to Disney Hongkong’s opening ceremonies, with the Disney team wishing to fetch them through a chartered plane when they invited them to come to Hong Kong, and for which all of them are entirely busy with work, a few days ago, they formally declined the invitation.. At one time they went to Disney USA, F4 said they won’t forget that wonderful experience. Disney Hong Kong will formally open late next evening with anime performance, the heads leading the rites and a Disney concert. Originally invited to attend the performance, F4 and Rain were among those in the list of famous artists, and according to sources, the Disney side had done it in very good faith. Earlier, they expressed that they wished to invite F4 and Rain to come to the opening event via a chartered flight. But for Rain, because he is shooting for his new series in Korea, he had earlier declined the invitation. Previously, those in charge with the Disney characters talked to the people of F4 and were very interested for the Disney Hong Kong, but for which they can not accommodate this time, because Jerry is filming in Taiwan, Vic is in Qing Dao shooting while Ken and Vanness each have individual works, too. Finally, all expressed they cannot participate this time. F4 will have to go later, in another time to travel to Disney Hong Kong. Even if they can’t visit Disney Hong Kong now, F4 last year promoted LILO & STICH, and was invited to come to Disney USA in California for which they were VIP guests as they traveled around. Among the four guys of F4, it’s Vanness’s family who lives in America. Disney handler said F4 was excited, holding to each other in their photos and video cameras for souvenirs. Their California Adventure included the Mickey Mouse costume and the 360 degree loop in the roller coaster as their most unforgettable experience. All along curiously playing were Zai Zai and Ken climbing on top of the roller coaster, and later Zai Zai laughed and said, “I’m very curious because it’s really high and would move down forcefully in one snap, so I’m thinking I shouldn’t call everyone to come because it’s scary. “ Later, F4 dotted their Mickey Mouse get ups in for the many photo sessions. Translated by Jerry's Kingdom Yahoogroups. Thank you for the credits. F4 & Rain rejects to attend Disneyland The million attracters from Taiwan and Korea, F4 and Rain have been invited to attend Hong Kong's Disneyland opening ceremony. For disneyland, they are willing to sponsor them to come to HK. However, all of them are having jobs on hand right now. They have already officially rejected the invitation. F4, who have been to the disneyland in US, still cannot forget the Mickey Crossing the Mountain. HK's disneyland opening ceremony would be holding its "Xin Meng Qi Yuan" tomorrow night. There will be fireworks display and a disneyland musical night. F4 and Rain were actually in the namelist of performers. And, Rain have rejected the invitation earlier as he has to rush back to Korea to flim a drama. F4, who was spokesperson for Disney's Lilo and Stitch is showing interest in HK's disneyland. However, their scehdules couldn't match. Jerry is fliming White Tower in Taiwan and Zaizai is in Qingdao fliming Silence while Ken and Vanness has other work to do. They finally expressed that they couldn't join in this grand occassion. F4 can only go to HK's disneyland after it's being opened. Although they do not have the fate to go to HK's disneyland right now, when F4 was doing promo for Lilo & Stitch, they were once invited to US's California's Disneyland for a tour. They went into the Disneyland as a VIP. Other than the 4 members in F4, Vanness had his family who lives in US with him as well. F4, who stepped into Disneyland for the first time was very excited, they took pictures for memories with their cameras. The California Adventure, Mickey's 360 degrees ride left them the deepest impression. Zaizai, who loves playing went for the ride with Ken. Afterwhich, he laughed and said, "Very fun ! When it came down with such a high speed, i can't even scream when i want to, it's a funny feeling!" After which, F4 took lots of pictures with Mickey Mouse. F4 Recalled Disneyland in America, Cannot attend Opening in HK
Chinese News at Ent Tom Japanese news at http://blog.goo.ne.jp/meteor839rb32 September 12,2005 Translated news by hamasaki at http://onlyvanness.proboards18.com/index.c...26141235&page=2 In the opening ceremony of Disneyland this September, earlier mentioned, F4 and Rain were invited to attend. They will supposed to be in a charter plane from both Taiwan and Korea. In Rain's case, he will be having a shooting for a drama in Korea and will be unable to attend, whereas for F4, Jerry Yan has schedule for his White Tower drama and the rest have also individual schedules. According to F4, they have been to Disneyland in America before and they said "When we went to American California Disneyland, we had a VIP treatment, we were so excited and we all took pictures and had video cameras with us and the ride we cannot forget was the roller coaster California Adventure" *Thanks to bluekenwallace of OnlyF4. I've always favored Zaizai and Vann but I always knew that Ken and Jerry were the "pretty boys" of the group... Now, I'm so happy and proud that DOUBLE V are being sought out as the "cover boys"... together! Can't believe it's happening! Lol!
That US Disney Trip of the boys seemed fun and enjoyable for them... |

F4, United as One
Chinese news: http://www.holiday100.com.cn/ Posted September 14, 2005 Translated by f4modejapan, Only Vanness Harmonizing, singing, hosting, acting, foursome more than just a boyband, F4 started out their careers as Meteor Garden phenomenal superstars! An all-male, cross-over quarter of teenage somethings from Taiwan. They harmonize, perform, semi-synchronized dance moves and sporty, modern chinese get ups and most especially the vintage rhythm haircuts that became a popular famous do in Asia. Teenage girls scream their names. But before relegating F4 to the unsavory domain of boybands, consider their stellar carrier CD. From the time their phenomenal series was released and their first album they have already created a rapid-fire with high-grade in the asia backyard! And yes, not all boybands stay for good! Finally, they went on separate ways, but not permanently working as solos. Their solo albums beat as blazing, its sells are quite good. A lot of their fans want them back! With the demands from their fans, they have appeared in some special activities and projects together but they cannot seem to make it permanent as F4 again! They have projects with Pepsi, and the most recent ones was in Japan for F4@Tokyo Photobook, and also released the Japanese version for their album Fantasy 4ever. Releasing those materials once again do not just captivate the hearts of Japanese followers, but the entire entertainment in Asia. Their F4@Tokyo photobook was published in a few volume of 3,000 and due to demands in the local market as well as overseas, publishers have nothing else to do but re-print for another thousands of copies that reached upto 60,000 then later on 100,000 volumes. These Taiwan Hot Idols have been very hot in Japan. Their exposures are not only seen on posters but as well as in buses, paid advertisements in stores, taxi cabs, and magazines are also well-exposed in japanese market. F4 have indeed surpassed popularity in Japan compared to other asian artists. Jerry yan's J4U album was paid in HK dollars the amount of 120,000 and the other 3 were paid with their solo albums 100,000 HKD each... So far, they are considered to be the highest paid artists then. F4 now considers the generation bigger than a boyband. Working in different management, they are still dynamic round in the long running match other asian group artists. On When will they re-unite as a group in one performance level, be in screen, tv or concert, fans must wait for the comeback of the group F4. *Thanks to bluekenwallace of OnlyF4. |

ive already heard the f4 japaneese version and im goin to wait for it this coming 30 by 10 oclock i think. im curious what difference will they do because comparison will be obviously granted. I Like Jun Matsumoto, i think he^s suited for being like Dao ming because the character he portrayed in Gakusen 1 is close to the character of Dao. about the other members, i still dont know, that^s why i really have to wait for it. but of course, Taiwan^s F4 is uncomparable and the F4 cast in the japanese version already have their own boy band groups of their own so it^s unlikely for them to be really like F4.
checked the Cds in Japanese market and the cover is much more better than the cover i own from my country! because the improvement of their looks had now already improved than before. and yes, its sold out. so is the mags with Vic and Vaness in the cover. sold out too. Related news about F4 concert next year
Source: http://ent.sina.com dated Sept 5, 2005 and Zao Pao dated Sept 6, 2005. Yesterday, Zaizai attended a press conference for his endorsed Wowo Milk Candy in Shanghai. During the meeting, he was asked whether he would collaborate with the other 3 F4 members in recent future. Zaizai disclosed that there is actually an on-going project to get them together. He expects it will soon come true in March next year. He also revealed, F4 will be united for a tour concert latest by the second half of next year. Shanghai will be one of the stops. He said, "We all have our respective works on hand at present. However, we are sincerely looking forward to gathering again. Actually, all four of us treasure the opportunity to perform on the same stage. We certainly wont miss the chance when it arrives. All of us would like to present a touchy performance for our fans on our reunion." Translated and summarized by: weiwei, Canada This is all I heard about them reuniting so far. Also this was posted somewhere else about 2 weeks ago. |

9/23 F4 has the opportunity of earning 400 million
After F4 members released their own solo albums, their results weren't as good as when they released an album as a group. F4 has decided to secretly "reunited." They plan on releasing a new album in January of next year and will be holding concerts in Hong Kong and Japan. With the 4 members coming together, they might be able to earn 400 million dollars! F4 has been around for 4 years and has once stirred an idol group whirlwind. However, the 4 members released solo albums successivly. This year they have already taken their turns. Jerry Yan is very popular, becoming the champion. Vic Chou is number 2 running close behind. Third is Vanness Wu with adequate results while Ken Chu is last place. Solo album results not good enough Looking at their album sales, F4's individual strength indeed isn't as good as their group strength. Therefore their management company is secretly thinking about a reuniting. On their Japanese site, some fans have already revealed that F4 will be together again next year. F4 plans on releasing an album next year in January and that there are at the stage of choosing songs, the members haven't started recording yet. Plans on striking back next year as a group In the series of plans for reuniting, one of them is that F4 will be holding 6 concerts next year around mid-March in HK Hong Kan. Following, in the beginning of April they will attack the Japanese market and will have 2 concerts there. With F4's strength, their first album sold 250,000 copies in Taiwan and 2,000,000 in China. An album in Taiwan is counted as 300 yuan so they have the strength of $75,000,000. As for China, a non-pirated album is counted as RMB$32. This can have the result of $256,000,000. F4 earns USD$500,000 for each concert and there will be 8 concerts. Altogether that's $124,000,000. The total with their new album and concerts, their initial steps to reuniting will give them the opportunity of earning more than 400 million dollars, and this doesn't include commercials and attending events.
