I like this drama so much. I can't believe the rating is so low. Possibly my second favorite "season" series behind Autumn Story. JH and EY's scenes are getting so cute and sweet right now.

I definitely like it better than Summer Scent , though I do love Song Seung Hun & Son Ye Jin in other shows ~~ n I do like it better than Winter Sonata too actually ~~ n some pple say the childhood PARTS (not in ep 1 btw) are a drag but I feel it's not , n it's essential to understanding the series completely ~~

n Autumn In My Heart has always been like my fave seasons series , but I feel tht Spring Waltz is definitely up there for me as well .

Can't wait to get this series. I've seen all three of the other season series and they were all so good. I'm a bit disappointed with the male cast since I wanted Song Seung Heon and Won Bin to be in it just like in Autumn in my Heart. That series had the greatest cast ever. The female cast is pretty good so I really don't mind it.

Still, I will definitely watch this series and I hope that it will be good

i've watched up to the 5th eps. and i really like it- its a typical tearjerker though. don't know why it's had apparently low ratings. glad i finally understand why the main guy has 2 names and 2 pasts with each of the girls...it was wayy too confusing before.

the series is definitely gettin betta and betta...esp towards esp 9 and 10. omg...he made a song for her and played it over the phone..and he hold her hand....ahhhhhhhhhh n he kissed her..so cute. but i don't reallie understand what role she plays..is she a maid o sumthin? and when they were holding hands..wut did he say to her..sumthin bout bein close...reallie can't read the simpo chinese...more of traditional..but could sumbod explain it to me.

well abt Jaeha having 2 names & 2 pasts , ok well there's actually 2 boys who look the same but we dunno whether they are related , we saw them as kids back then , the real JAEHA lives in Canada wif his parents & he & the other girl , Inah , played piano together when they were younger & she liked him , but we dunno wat happened to tis Jaeha , did he die or did he go missing ? We only knw tht something happened to him as we see his mom in a hospital in Korea & her husband says tht she's tried to commit suicide & stuff ~ she misses her son , Jaeha .

Well , the other guy is SUHO , his father is a cheat , his father brought him to the island where his grandpa lived to leave him wif his grandpa but his grandpa was already dead , so his father left him wif the lead girl , Eunyong's mom for a while , well so as EY's mom worked , EY & SH spent much time together & she calls him OPPA , but then , one day his dad came back & stole EY's mom's money & left again , tht money was actually saved up for EY to undergo surgery cus she haf heart problem or something , so her mom was depressed n went to Seoul to look for his father , but she died later in a car accident , EY & SH dunno tht but they went to Seoul too to look for his father to get back the money he had stolen , anyway , EY later fell ill & was brought to hospital bla bla , her mom's fren frm the island came to take care of her , when she saw SH , she ran after him , SH ran & ran until he hid inside Jaeha's mom's hospital ward , then JH's mom saw him , n kept calling him Jaeha & hugged him , JH's dad saw tht he looked so alike . Actor Suh Do-young has been under treatment at a hospital after he took injuries to his facial bones during the filming of the KBS TV2's Monday-Tuesday miniseries "Spring Waltz."

On the early morning of Apr 11, Suh (playing Jae-ha in the drama) acted opposite actor Daniel Henney (playing Philip) in a love triangle situation involving actress Han Hyo-ju (playing Eun-young). In an action scene, Henney accidently hit Suh in the face with a clenched fist in a moment of "complete disharmony" between the two actors during the filming. As a result, Suh suffered a sunken cheekbone.

The accident occurred despite previous rehearsals. The production of "Spring Waltz" has therefore hit a snag in the aftermath of Suh's sudden hospitalization. A total of 12 episodes had been broadcast until April 11. The next episodes are expected to focus on a melodramatic love story between Suh and Han. The episodes will make a dramatic turn as Suh recognizes that Han was the girl whom he had met in Cheongsando during his childhood.

In an emergency conference, the production team reportedly discussed how to proceed with its schedule. The team has decided that it would be difficult to go ahead with the filming without Suh because of his heavy role in the drama. An official from Suh's agency said, "No decision has been reached yet as to whether to continue the filming of the drama without Suh Do-young. As he received injuries to the face, it will be a long time before he completely recovers. But we will know for sure only after his doctor gives a diagnosis."

"Spring Waltz" had suffered from low viewer ratings, contrary to earlier expectations. The production team is reportedly quite anxious over the lead actor of the drama being in the hospital.”

Daniel Henney, playing Philip, accidentally broke SDY's cheekbone (playing Chris/Jaeha) while filming a punch scene in episode 12. He had surgery today and according to the reports, it was a success and he should return to work next week.

NO ONE will die. During an interview with the PD, he said that no one will die becaus he didn't want to make another drama reproduction he already did (like Autumn Story). He said that he put a lot of effort into this to make it not so cliche like most Korean dramas are. So, don't worry.
Also most of the rumors you hear that might happen will most likely not be true.

The above is close.. but I will fill in some blanks... with the flashback that Lee Na has about Jae Ha with the wedding scene was before the TRUE Jae Ha died (I believe the true Jae Ha died as there was a scene about Lee Na and Jae Ha meeting up with some friends from school and the friends thought he was dead from hearing a rumor). Now how did the FAKE Jae ha know about Lee Na and acted like he recognized her? (I think this is one part where some people were confused). This is how it went... At Austria Phillip picked up Lee Na at the airport. He got a phone call and left Lee Na to talk to Jae Ha. Later Lee Na was talking with the FAKE Jae Ha out on the balcony drinking tea/coffee. Now during this scene, she was asking him whether or not he has ever thought about going back to Korea (it has been close to 15 years that he went back). He said no. She asks about him thinking about going back to Korea not just for her benefit but also to make a cd album since she owns a record company. If I remember correctly, she also asks/hints if he misses/wants to see someone at Korea (which is supposed to be her.. but of course he doesn't know cuz he's confused on who she exactly is and thinks of Eun Young instead). He says no. Of course Lee Na gets frustrated of him not recognzing her and she confesses that she came to Austria for him and tells him about the promise about them getting married and stuff (from the wedding scene). He is still confused (of course because he's not the REAL Jae Ha) and when Phillip comes back from a phone conversation, he says Lee Na's name and then the FAKE Jae Ha acts like he knows her by saying her name.

This might be a lil confusing... but you might have to re-read it through and watch the episode (i think it's episode 3, if I remember correctly.. not sure).

Also there is another part... the day when the SuHo left to go to Canada.. he ran back to the hospital. He ran back because he promised the night before to Eun Young that he will be by her side when she goes to surgery. Of course he knew that he was leaving the next day, but he promised. The reason why young Eun Young was hiding behind the bed was because he was asking where SuHo was because of the promise he made to her and she didn't want to go to surgery without SuHo. Later when SuHo went to the Eun Young's hospital room to see Eun Young, she was already at the Surgery room. It was later when he was at Canada that his fake father told him that Eun Young was dead and to forget about her(the scene when young Jae Ha was running out of the house and tripped on the snow on his face).


Also... I saw through the forum and some were asking about what exactly is Eun Young's job for Jae Ha? She is his road manager. She is charge of taking him anywhere he is supposed to go or wants to go. That is why she is driving for him. She also does the cleaning of his practice room too.

Did anyone catch the scene where the young Eun Young told SuHo about when she first met him? She asked if he realized that his name meant 'guardian' and that he would be her guardian angel??
I love that scene!!

hehe! I did download episodes 8 and on with subs. Watched the first few on youtube. To be honest, I couldn't wait for the subs to come out. ' I was eager to watch what would happen episode 8 and on, even if they were without english subs. I didn't want to save the episodes on the hard drive waiting for the subs..... I think I should get a more space on my hard drive! Yeah, that's how desperate I am to watch this series! ' When this series is out on DVD, there is no doubt that I'm going to buy it - with english subs! ^____^

While in Austria , frm the 1st ep , we see tht Philip is the one who meets EunYoung 1st ,
there's a lot of cute exchanges b/w Philip & EY in the 1st ep esp cus they both haf language barrier

But anyway , Philip makes it kinda clear tht he likes EY , but she doesn't feel tht way for him ~

the language the Jae Ha and Philip speak in the earlier episodes is German I believe. So Do Young (Jae Ha) did have to learn German as well as Daniel Henney (Philip) for certain scenes in the drama. I think Daniel Henney is half European and half Korean, but I'm not 100% sure. ' I'm pretty sure So Do Young is Korean. ^__^

Philip & JaeHa sometimes speak to each other in German cus pple in Austria speak in the language I believe ~

I think Suh Do Young who plays JaeHa is full Korean ~ both he & Daniel memorised the German script if I'm not wrong , cus Daniel mentioned somewhere tht they both don't understand the language ~
