Though Winter Sonata was my first Korean drama, Autumn in my Heart no doubt surpasses it, and I haven't seen Summer Scent yet. From what people have said, it isn't that good, but I will give it a shot! Yeah, Autumn in my Heart is a memorable series. The music combined with beautiful scenery and great acting, this series is truly a masterpiece. The ending was sad, but I still like it! Does anyone know the song played during the last scene of the series where Joon-suh gets hit by the vehicle and memories of him and Eun-suh are shown? Because it's not on the OST and I'm not too sure where to get it!

This was the second korean drama I watched and I loved it! It was this series that made me wanna watch other korean dramas too. The story was so sad and good.
The actors were great too, especially Song Hye Gyo.

One of the best Korean dramas ever. SSH and SHK were superb and they get my vote as the number one couple in Korea.

this was a good series. even though i like Song Seung Hun. i wanted Won Bin and Song Hye Gyo to be together.

i'm watching it right now! the first couple of episodes were REALLY good! lol i was cryin my eyes out... good thing there was no one around but it gets kinda ummm boring when they're all grown up, hopefully it gets more interesting!

and don't u realised all korean sad dramas will hv bad ending wif either 1 of the actor will hv incurable disease? such as cancer, leukemia, etc...actually i'm quite bored of dat already :-(

This story is sad yet entriging. The ending is tragic as SHK dies of cancer, like many do in Korean dramas. The pain that SHK's character was going through can be seen through her acting. She acted well throughout.

Somehow, the movie and the series are a bit different e.g. some bits missing from series but in movie.

I find that Won Bin reminds me of Wallace in Dolphine Bay

omg dis series is so sad! i started cryin since episode two when dey realize dat song hye kyo isnt blood related to da family until da end. i lyk both song seung hun nd won bin. whenever i c song hye kyo wif song seung hon i want her 2 b wif won bin but when i c song hye kyo wif won bin i want her 2 b wif song seung hon! lol, im so weird. i wanna c more of song seung hon+song hye kyo nd won bin+song hye kyo pairin!

I might be the only one here, but I felt really uncomfortable watching this series for some reason. Maybe because I wanted won bin to be with song hye kyo so much and not her so called brother..

This series got me started on Korean Dramas. I have never been one to watch movies with sad endings or to go for helpless damsels in distress but this series is one of my favorite for all time :-)
The cast is the best ever assembled and the story is moving and not too mushy :-) Hope more people will continue to enjoy watching.

dis drama is soo sad i cried throughout the whole drama but the actors/actresses are such hotties lol like song hye kyo, won bin and the main guy (forgot his name)

None of my friends wanted me to see this when it first came out. I had lost my fiance' during that time when this drama came out. It was kind of the same thing that I was going through, but now after a few years I decided to watch it and I bought the DVD's with english subs. I have to say that this is the best drama (korean or japanese) ever. The story, the people, the music, and the scenery was just perfect. All of that combined into this drama made it perfect ! I had warm feelings while watching this drama. Wow they were not kidding that watching this will make you cry alot, if I saw this while it came out I would have killed myself. I am glad to have finally watched this drama that I have heard so much of. The OST is pretty good too. I have a very large collection of dramas and again I would have to say that this is the best ! .

There is this song from episode 4 from this drama that got stuck in my head, can anyone help me? It is in episode 4, when Won Bin pretended that he had losted his watch and she threw water at him, does anyone know the tittle and the singer of that song? i havent watched this drama fo a while now, but i know it was extremely good when i watched it, especially wit song hye kyo actin in it, i really enjoy her acting....ill end up re-watchin this drama again but if u havent watched this drama yet, ur really missin out, at least thats mah opinion, i'd highly reccomend this drama even thought its really sad. ^^

Two KBS hit dramas, "Autumn in My Heart" and "Winter Sonata," will be adapted into movies. Poibos, an entertainment company, said Wednesday that it signed an agreement on Monday with KBS Media to buy the copyright to "Autumn in My Heart" after securing the copyright to "Winter Sonata" in May.

Culture Cap Media, a Poibos associate, will produce the film versions of the dramas. The company has produced "My Little Bride" and "Jenny & Juno."

"Besides selecting a production company, no plans have yet been made in relation to making the movies," ibos said. "We haven't decided who we will cast and whether we will change the story or not."

The dramas, produced by Yoon Seok-ho and written by Oh Soo-yeon, gained great popularity across Asia, making Song Seung-heon and Song Hye-gyo, who played the leading roles in "Autumn in My Heart," and Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo, the two stars in "Winter Sonata," rise to stardom in the entire Asia region.

Other dramas waiting to be made into movies are KBS' "Old Miss Diary," and MBC's "Hello, Francesca" and "Taeneung Training Center."

I really hope that they will invite the original cast back to reprise their roles in the movie versions. I really wanna see Hae Gyo and Won Bin in a drama/movie even though they might not be paired up.

i really love this drama. it was so good. And WB looks so hot in here. poor him he didn't get SHG in the end. I really like MGY as the younger girl & that boy is really cute also. They should do another drama or movie together, that'd be cute.

i love the soundtrack to this series. its goes well with the whole drama and makes it even more sad i love the song 'Romance' and 'Reason' is nice too.

this drama made me cry from start to finish

I was a little hesitant at first to watch this drama cause I know it doesn't have a happy ending. BUT after watching the first episode, seeing the very cute Eun Suh and Joon Suh I can't stop watching it. And yes ... I gave up using tissue on like the third episode. I get out a towel whenever I get ready to watch this.

I finished like maybe 6 series on my second day and my eyes were all swollen!!! Hahahaha ... Despite the sad ending (which I actually think fits the story ... makes it real) I really really like this drama. It just gives you a warm feeling whenever you watch ES and JS ...

I'm currently on episode 11 at the moment.
It's okay -- but it's somewhat the same thing
over and over again. I guess I have to watch

This was very nice and really heart-breaking series 'because SHK died right?! Well.. It just show ENDLESS LOVE.

I think i liked it when it showed them as little kids, that was really touchin and it made me cried the most. Also when Won Bin insistd on helpin Song Hye Kyo to cure her cancer. That was soo sweet becuz he was all like when ur better you can ask me to leave u and i wont harrass u anymore.. So wished that Won bin and Song Hye Kyo ended up 2gether.

It started the Endless Love Seasons so I am biased to this show. Although I never got over the fact that Song Hye Gyo and Song Seung Hun played sister and brother initially. That kind of spoiled the romantic parts for me. =P But overall, this show was tastefully done.

Oh god I love this series xD Only series that actually made me cry ='( Song Hye-kyo did a great job acting as Yun-euh. I also like the actor that played Yun-euh as a child, I cried most of the time in the beginning of the series. I kinda wish Yun-euh didn't have to die though =/ And I didn't like the fact that Jun-euh let himself be hit by the truck, 'cause he promised Yun-euh he'd live on for her, but oh well at least they're together now though right?

I just started watching this. I believe I'll start watching ep5 tonight. The thing I find unrealistic is that they actually swap daughters while the children are teenagers. They probably should have focused more on the mothers' grief. And so far they portrayed the father as a do-do head. I guess what's most important is the young kids' love story, but they could have made it more realistic.

I think people treat their animals better than those people treated the kids.

With that said, her "brother" is cuter than the other guy. They do have a history... although kinda uncomfortable to watch when they were kids since they thought they were blood related.

The little girl's (My Little Bride) performance is outstanding.

The reruns(2nd time) of this series will be aired in M'sia (8TV) soon. I'm going to watch it for the 2nd time.

i bought a copy of this, glad it has a good subs... really an all time favorite... this is the one i think that really started all the korean drama here in the philippines...
