TVB has been branching out and have been filming in different places like Africa, Italy, Japan, Thailand, China, Australia, my question is where would you want TVB to head to next for future modern or ancient series and why? Could it be Hawaii, the North Pole, India, or your hometown?

I would want them to film in New York ( Brooklyn) so they could see wats it like here in New York..I would Want Ron Ng, Raymond LAm,Lelia Tong and Tavia Yeung and other people to film in N.Y

hey, i'm from ny too and i would definitely love it if they come here to film a series.

Before going abroad, I think that they should fix their 'local' problems first -- meaning start shooting in REAL houses and offices and restaurants!!! The view, or lack thereof, outside those fake house/office windows is starting to bother me. It's always the same HK night-time skyline picture plastered all over. And every family seems to be able to afford 3000-square feet apartments that could house their 10-person family. Argh. Yeh I'm picky.

moraeshigae - the only prob of filming in real locations- restaurants, houses... they need a lot more preparation and spendings for it as they have to loan a house or a restaurant, get approval and all this stuff...and its only worth it if that location is really important for the series itself...like one scene and renting a place isnt really worth it...
thats why theres the big productions where they go to diff places, and therefore have to use real buildings and stuff...hehe
i want them to come to canada to film...especially ottawa, because thats where i am...lol

ooo i live in canada too!! =] it would be soo cool if they came to edmonton...hehe probably not, but o well. its nice to see they filming in other places because its interesting for us to see

oooh i want tvb to come to my hometown! which is ottawa...its not big but it would be soo awesome..i also sorta want tvb to film in toronto or vancouver! they should do a series in vancouver with the dolphins and killer whales lolz

Vancouver! there's a china series that was filmed here "Goodby Vancouver"
i never watched it but it's cool to actually have the title be named Vancouver.

they should film it in san francisco!! because it has the best weather and the best scenary!!! hehe

i would like them to film here in New York.... imagine Manhattan chinatown.. wow... i think it'll be sooo crowded..

I have a wild suggestion - TVB has never made any sort of space film - I reckon outerspace! Or else somewhere completely different - like Hawaii!

i would have to say NEW YORK CITY. that would be hot. I believe in most tvb series they alwasy talk about immigrating to the states in LA or whaht not. But to have them really film in NYC would be really incredible.

It would be pretty cool if TVB went to Spain or a Latin American country. It would be the most interesting.

It is cool if the TVB can film their films worldwide no matter it is a developed contry or 3 -rd country....
so that we can use our eyes to travel worldwide thru the series!!

same here, i would also want them to film in my hometown, New York City (Brooklyn), Manhattan would be fine too & other locations would be the north & south pole (want to see some polar bears & penguins)

i wouldnt mine seeing TVB film in Canada. I dont think they've ever filmed here yet.

This topic reminds me of TITS. Beautiful scenery and the overseas filming add weight to the plots.
I suggest Turkey and New Zealand next... no reason other than I hope to visit these places myself soon.

i wish that tvb can shoot their series in malaysia kuala lumpur..because they has already shoot yummy yummy in singapore, so why not msia? kuala lumpur has what it takes to produce a good series such as world tallest twin tower, asia biggest airport and the list goes on. jus look at msian actress in tvb such as angie cheung and vivien yeo.

i wish TVB filmed in New York, Paris, Hawaii or Mexico. it will be interesting ! they can do it for TITS II... but i heard they chose Moscow and England

Hey I've been to Vancouver when I was younger and I LOVED IT! You're right they have so many nice parks and mountains. The asian community over there isn't bad =. They have some pretty nice malls too. I went to Toronto recently too and I loved that place also because of all the asian malls around there. Too bad they don't have any asian malls in NYC and we have the biggest asian population in America!

I live in Atlantic city, New Jersey. They could talk about the casinos here.

BOSTON, MASS [USA] they were shooting "the departed" [american version of "infernal affairs"] in chinatown a few days ago. it was so cool because i got to see leonardo dicaprio!

I'm from Brooklyn too! Yeah it would be cool if they filmed in manhattan or brooklyn. I know there were people filming outside or something of the grandma's apartment a couple times. I remember when i was little, after eating at a jap. place i saw a fake moon in the sky probably someone filming something, but i doubt any of them has something to do with TVB.

I think people are afraid to come to NYC, besides if they film a TVB series, what much does it have to do with NYC scenery. Maybe a shot at the buildings pretending someone was leaving from NY?



I'm form NY but i see that many stars visit canda...not sure which part but stuff do happen in canada. All i know HK celebs visit for autograph sessions or something.

I would like to see them film in CANADA, because there is a lot of nice place and ill have a chance to get them to sign me an authograph

i like ancient movies because of the beautiful scenaries. therefore i always prefer
movies film at the country sides, especially in china.

lol...like most people ofcourse I want tvb to film in our own city but then its always cool to see other places. I always find it interesting as well from seeing other places as relating to the places we've been at.

i'd like tvb to film here in france!! so i can meet the actors and actress! and ther's a chinatown in paris, i 'm sure people would like to see them too! and paris is very romantic , that's good for the love stories!

i don't think the suggestions in this thread are really gonna be of much use because everyone seems to want TVB to film in their hometown, including me... (come to melbourne!!) but i would definately appreciate it if TVB would film in locations outside of HK and China. it doesn't necessarily have to be in viewers hometowns, but i think it would be great to see some other places through these series. i loved triumph in the skies, not only because of the story, but also because of the romantic italian settings. i really want to see TVB filming in some other countries.

maybe in europe?? i loved the scenery in Triumph.. makes me want to go to Italy soooo much!
