I am watching Ten Brothers right now and Frankie's acting is pretty good in the series. I don't think that he has a lot of onscreen chemistry with Kenix though.

Recently the prosperous couple Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok purchased four units of property in the West Kowloon area. The story of this scene is about the forensic scientists being called to the beach where a corpse is discovered. Frankie said, “The corpses is of a dead girl who was been raped before death! I feel sorry for the girl, she must have laid on the beach for the whole night! (Are you afraid of doing scenes like these will wreck your fortune and luck?) Male actors usually do not wreck their luck and fortune by doing bad scenes. But when doing kissing scenes, we have to be very careful. If there is not enough communication between the female actor and ourselves, the female actor may misunderstand us!”

Frankie Lam and Linda Chung continued filming for their latest TVB series "Forensic Law Cutting Edge" yesterday in a scene where Frankie shares an onscreen kiss with Linda. The plot narrates that Frankie successfully proposed to Linda, in which she accepted. Filming for that particular scene, the director instructed Frankie to slightly bend down, because of Linda's height. Linda mistakenly thought that the instructions were for her, thus made the crew laughed. In addition, Frankie praises Linda for her hardworking, punctual, and respectful characteristics.

The doctor ordered a special vest for Frankie, which the purpose is to fix the position of his head and upper body. To prevent the bones moving around and affect the recovery, at the beginning Frankie needs to sit upright when he sleep.

Accordingly, Kenix always stays at home to take care of her injured husband. It's not until days before Mother's Day that Kenix divides her time to go out with her mother. Just couple of days ago, she went out with her mom and brought a lot of clothing. Kenix looked pretty relax that day, which implies that Frankie is doing okay.

Frankie Lam Wants to be a Father - Kenix Kwok will Think About it
Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok's series "Ten Brothers" is currently airing and the two leading stars are happy that it is doing well in the ratings.

Kenix says: "I am very happy to see 29 points. People have referred to it as a warehouse series, so for it to do so well is a great gift. This series has already been released overseas and aired on pay vision, so I never imagined that despite so many people going on holiday, it still reached 29 points. I am very happy. (Would you like it to improve even more?) The drama is yet to come, so it should get better. I really like this series, it is relaxed and comedic and touching as well." Next week, the husband and wife pair will be heading over to North America for some stage performances.

Frankie and Kenix Look to Mainland Markets
Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok were interviewed at a radio station to promote their series "Ten Brothers" yesterday and although the ratings are not bad, there have been criticisms from some viewers who say that the brothers' costumes are weird and the soundtrack is good, but the images are not suitable. In response to this, the couple have a different view.

Kenix feels that in the hearts of children, they will find the brothers very cute and as this is a fantasy story, then it will not be appealing if it is not out of the ordinary. Frankie feels that he has gained many young fans from this series and earlier when he went to his friends home for dinner, there was a group of five or six year olds gathering around the television. Even the youngest four year old praised him for a great show! Asked why this fan thought he was so good, he explains that this 'daddy' will never shout at anyone, so the children like him especially.

Will they be filming for TVB again in the near future? Kenix says: "It depends on the role. I am going for quality not quantity." Frankie indicates that TVB did ask him to film a series for them, but he has already accepted a role on the mainland, so he had to turn them down this time. Nancy Wu Takes Photos for Company Blog at "Ten Brothers" Promotion
The cast of TVB's series "Ten Brothers" took part in a promotional event yesterday on the traditional 'People's Birthday' on the 7th day of the new year. Those present included Kenix Kwok, Frankie Lam, Don Li and Nancy Wu, who played games with members of the audience and then Kenix fed some red dyed eggs to Frankie. Finally they held a lucky draw for a lucky packet from producer Poon Ka Tak and Chan On Ying won this.

Producer Poon indicated that this show reached ratings in the thirties on Thursday and when they heard this, Kenix and Frankie were extremely happy. Frankie says that the ratings will have gone down because of Valentines Day and the New Year fireworks, so now the viewers are coming back. In recent interviews, Frankie has had help convincing Kenix and Nancy Sit has given suggestions about checking body temperature to try and guess the gender of the baby. Frankie says that his friends have pointed out that if he has a girl, then he will have to give up all his leisure activities because girls usually stick to their fathers. Kenix laughs: "I stick to you too!" When the reporters urged them to stop thinking and start making it happen, the couple became a little embarrassed and did not reply.

Nancy Wu had a camera in her hand and was snapping away at the event. She explains that the company is creating blogs for artistes and she has to provide them with 30 photographs, but there are some restrictions on content, such as nude photos, intimate photos with partners and pictures without make-up. As a result, Nancy is avoiding anything sexy or with her male friends.

When the reporters complained that this would make the blog rather boring, Nancy smiles that she can try submitting some pictures of her nostrils perhaps to test the threshold of the company. She says that the reason behind setting up the blogs is to allow the fans to take a look at how the artistes are at work and so these restrictions can be understood. They can write their own articles, but the words and pictures will all be censored by the company. Nancy says that she has had a blog of her own in the past, but she is rather lazy and has not updated it for a long time now. However, when she sees people leaving messages for her, she is very happy to see that people are still looking for her blog, so with her new photographs, she will try to put some on there for everyone to see.

With the recent reports about the characters looking weird and ugly and surprisingly, Don Li seems to agree with them, saying that when he was filming, he had to comfort himself about it! He laughs: "The story is that the brothers are actually aliens, so we should look strange. At first when we were filming I could not get used to our appearance and I had to comfort myself every day. It does look quite ugly and even my friends have told me that." Don adds that the worst thing for him is that when he has been visiting his family, his five year old nephew has started calling him 'Uncle Monster', but he is still happy about this because is proves his series is popular.

Frankie Lam Enjoys Japan Holiday - Tavia is Envious
TVB series "Face to Fate" will begin airing on the Pay Vision channel on 27th March and a group of cast members including Frankie Lam, Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Anne Heung, Nancy Wu and Chun Wong attended a promotional event yesterday. Aside from Frankie who had other work to do, the cast appeared in their costumes from the show.

Frankie and his wife Kenix Kwok have arranged to join Raymond Cho and his girlfriend to go on a trip to Japan soon. He says happily: "The cherry blossoms have come late this year, so when we arrive, they will all be in full bloom. We feel so lucky and may follow the Japanese tradition of drinking wine under the trees. We will also go to the hot springs and shopping. Going as a group of four is a great idea because we can take photos for each other and will not just be taking photos individually. (You have support if you have arguments too?) If you argue when you are on holiday then you are just bringing trouble on yourself. (Are you going to be making babies on your trip?) Making Japanes babies? We go on holiday at least once a year to recharge our batteries, so we will just be having fun."

Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok were spotted out shopping together in Admiralty's Pacific Place yesterday. Following reports that the couple fell out over their food being too cheap when they were holidaying in Japan, when Kenix spotted a pair of designer shoes worth $3000, Frankie was quick to get his credit card out to pay for it.

At around 4pm yesterday, Kenix tried on some shoes in Miu Miu, accompanied by husband Frankie throughout, offering her his comments. When Kenix spotted the reporters outside, she gave her husband the signal and they both looked up and smiled at the camera.

Kenix and Frankie Could be Joining the Opposition
With two of TVB's former high ranking executives Mr Ho Ding Kwan and Mr Louis Page joining the ATV board of late and reports that i-Cable will also be making their own drama productions, Kenix Kwok and Frankie Lam were spotted earlier in discussions at a hotel Coffee Shop with executives from i-Cable.

Suggestions indicate that after their success as an on-screen couple in "Ten Brothers", i-Cable are interested in inviting Frankie and Kenix to film a series together again for them. As ATV and i-Cable do not offer long restrictive contracts like TVB, they have become a very attractive proposition for many artistes. Asked about the invitation to film for i-Cable, Kenix and Frankie indicate that they are very sincere, but they have not decided yet, so they were able to discuss their position.

TVB Board Director Mrs Li attended a separate event and asked about Mr Ho joining ATV, she says: "It is a very normal thing. He resigned last year." As for whether she is worried about him taking staff away, she did not respond, but she added later that he had retired and not resigned.

"Forensic Heroes 2" Costume Fitting



No wonder Bobby Au Yeung was known as TVB's ratings guarantor. His series, "Fathers and Sons" had 37 points in average ratings in its finale week, peaking at 40 points! There were 2.59 million audience who tuned in to watch. "Fathers and Sons" was the program with the highest ratings last week.

Bobby appeared at the costume fitting for "Forensic Heroes 2" with Charmaine Sheh, Frankie Lam, Yoyo Mung, Shirley Yeung etc. As the producer of both "Fathers and Sons" and "Forensic Heroes 2," Miu Siu Ching turned the costume fitting into a celebration event! The champagne was popped to celebrate the high ratings!

Bobby laughed, "I am very happy that the ratings climbed an additional 5 points last week. I will treat for dinner. Ha Yu said he will bring along abalone!

Since Yoyo and Linda shared some rough physical scenes together, was Yoyo concerned that she might accidentally hurt Linda? Yoyo said, "What? Don't be misled by Linda's appearance! One time she hit me and it hurt for a long time! Perhaps she is tall, thus she possesses great strength."

Frankie teased Linda that her personality has been reshaped by joining the entertainment industry. "Linda has changed greatly since the first time we worked together. A nice way of saying it is that she is more 'cheerful' now. But a blunt version would be that she became more 'wild' and uninhibited."

In response to criticism of her uncouthly behavior, Linda laughed, "Yes, I have always been a tomboy. But my voice misleads others! When I was a child, I often had fist fights with my elder brother. Charmaine Sheh, Yoyo Mung, Bobby Au Yeung, Frankie Lam, and Ben Wong Chi Yin filmed a rain scene for "Forensic Heroes 2" 《法政先鋒II》in Yuen Long. It was Charmaine's last chance to meet up with narcotics undercover agent, Ben Wong. Since Ben worked as an informer, he was killed brutally by the narcotics kingpin.

Charmaine wore a fuschia evening dress and high heels to attend a wedding. However she received Ben's phone call. In order to get to the crime scene quicker, she ripped off the skirt of her long dress.

"This pink dress is from my private collection. It is difficult to find a dress that fits and contains fabric that is easy to shred. Since I have already worn this dress once before, I didn't mind sacrificing it for the scene."

Charmaine did not mind sacrificing her own dress. "There is not much use for it at home. Also the fuschia color is not very popular lately."

Yoyo Mung Ka Wai said she will not be celebrating rumored boyfriend, Ekin Cheng's 40th birthday on October 4th. Did Yoyo bake a cake or give him other gifts? Yoyo said, "I have not considered it. Work comes first."

How about having a birthday dinner with Ekin? "He has his own friends to celebrate with."
