Synopsis:
He won the game, but he nearly lost his soul...

Genius expert technological criminal Yiu Shing Tin (Wong He) loves to challenge justice and believes that his actions only become a crime when he is arrested by the police. However, his genius is not perfect and Tin has a weak point - emotion. Unable to handle his emotional affairs, Tin meets his half-sister Kong Kin Yee (Myolie Wu) with whom he shares a father and he doesn't know where to turn.

Commercial crime investigator Chong Chin Pang (Eddie Kwan) sends police cadet Tong Ka Ming (Jack Wu) to infiltrate Tin's software house as an undercover agent. How would Tin be fooled? He wants to play a game, to change Ming into someone just like himself!

Also wanting to change someone is Yee. She finds out about Tin's computer crimes and she wants to change his bad ways into good. At this time, she finds out that her beloved Ming is a cop and questions the sincerity of the love between them.

Each person has within their hearts an element of doubt and hearsay, right and wrong is hard to define. For these young people, who will be affecting whom in the end?

This series is pretty good so far. It is better than SUMMER HEAT. I enjoy cop movies.

I agree with you staizblue. The series is good and I cannot wat for the next episode to come... Do you know how many epsiodes does this series have? So, from what I see so far, Wong He is the bad guy. right?

I'm like this series already!. wong he never disappoints me.


i have a question, why aint the esps in one esp at time instead of 2?

this is a decent series, you really have to ignore the cheesy parts about computers tho....seems like screen writers didn't know anything about them.

in the first ep, when Wong Hee was hacking, his screen said.."Hacking in system"....so hilarious:)

i havent watched this series yet. so how's it going so far?

i've seen 6 episodes and i like it so far. i really like wong hei in this and i cant stand eddie kwan. i'm beginning to take a liking to myolie wu... her hair is weird here but she's really sweet... but not like the triumph in the skies sweet... i didnt like her in that too much

Actually, most of the stuff shown in this show are actually realistic. Even the "password cracker" thing actually exist

First time TVB is doing some research before doing computer stuff.

dAtS scary how ppl can liek hack into yer comp nd do wuteva they want to it! nd password cracker scary too..because they can go in yer email nd everything else...

It EXACTLY copied that computercrime case!!! Even the interview techniques and the way how he got caught (the books) is the same way!!

Don't worry.

First, those webcamthingie won't work unless you're infected with a virus (actually trojan horse). As long as you don't open strange emails so easily, you won't get it (of course install a good virusscanner).

And the password cracker, the way how he used it is called brute force. It works if you have a password that is only a word, or only have a few letters. If you have more than 4 letters for your password with numers and symbols, it'll take years to crack them.

There are easier ways, but I won't tell you
Just remember to use different password for different things.

well, actually there were several cases about it.

It always works like this though. You get fake emails with something "cool" in it. When you open that attachment you get a trojan horse or some other exploit and people can control your computer.

One of the thing that they do is start the webcam and stuff, read your email, etc basicly controll your computer.

There was one case in HK that is the same as what happened in net deception. Only difference is that they did way longer to find the password

That's why I want my GF to put something in front of her webcam when she doesn't use it

somehow I enjoy Summer Heat more, Net deception is too serious and phylosophic for me.

The story is good for both though.

I just hope that Wong Hei doesnt die . Oh and I saw in the intro that Myolie gets shot.. I wonder when. I like the DRAmA!!

The ending (when WH got arrested) was too rushed and then dragged on and on. All of a sudden the story concentrated on that kid. And they are NOT believable as "Grownups".

How the hell those two fools managed to get such high positions is beyond sane minds.

The fact that WH got blind and healed because he hit his head is a bit too

The "hacker helps police" is OK. Tell it sooner then...

Ah well, it was a good series overall.

It's stupid that TVB couldn't state CLEARLY that that mother and auntie of myolie are lesbians....

even though this series is probably a lowbudget fill-in series, I must say that this is the best High-tech series TVB had made. At least this time they HAVE done some research and we don't see fancy impossible programs or OS'es.

Too bad that after the first half they concentrate on the characters more though..

He is a hacker, in exchange for something the police has, he gave his own evidence to Eddie Kwan (police).

Finally he got "caught" adn went to jail. Has to stay there for 14 years. He married that miss HK girlie in jail, and got released in 5 years or so because the government want his help for computer crimes.

you guys need the program winrar. you can go to downloads.com and search for winrar and then download it. after you install it.. right click that torrent file and save target as.. then your winrar program will open and save it then you will see those 2 torrent files.. and just double click it and it should start (the torrent file)

The series was decent, but I really didn't like the ending. I was really hoping he would pull of some scheme and break out of jail

i finished this series today!! kekeke...this series was great!!!!!!! ahahaha..jack was sooooooooooo cute in there..kekee..and i like myolie's hair at the end..she looks pretty..ahahaha..and that's pretty much it...wong he did a great job in there!! ahaha hes so smart

I found the ending gay, not the greatest. Perhaps they will build on it in a Net Deception 2... I don't know...
