i am going to agree w/ you bearx3. i respected tavia so much after this one article, but after her new series w/ her portraying a "sexy" kind of girl, i am beginning to wonder whether she was really influenced by her serie's character or did she want to find an excuse to go to the "sexy" image all along? yep, tavia has many images before, but all along she was counted as sort a of a tomboy up until to this point. artists which i think have their own images/believes/opinions are the ones i really respect. i haven't seen jessica, ada, flora changing too much of their image in the past. leila's trying to be more mature, but i guess that it's natural since she is no more a little girl... but still, i like artists that stick w/ one image. and by "image" i don't mean clothing, i mean attitude, how they feel and stuff. i still like tavia, but i would prefer it that she goes back to her old self... and i am sure her old self is one that is carefree, and is tomboyish without caring what other ppl think.

Tavia is just so annoying. her acting is not that good and there is no memorable characters from her. wot was her character like in eternal happiness? no one knows cos she has no personality. she lacks charisma and all her characters have the same personality. the one in find the light and princes shadow were about the same to be honest. and twin of brothers did not really make an improvement. realy she should stop being promoted!

Well,let me say something too.I only loved when she was paired up with Raymond but beside this I don't like her that much.TVB likes to put her in every new serie that's coming.And the pairings with her are disasters (except Ray than ).I hate her so much with mr NG CHEUK Hei.And what about her series with BOSCO ; like 3 in a row ;( .I see her everywhere and that makes her so annoying! Wow a Tavia hate-club! This would've proved affective to me in the past but I've recently kinda converted since watching A Pillowcase of Mystery ... not to mention, I admire her perserverance to making it big in the TVB industry through talent, ability and the unpopular TVB acting class rather than the usual pageant path.

Had this club happened during Twins of Brothers days I would've no doubt become president in a heartbeat.

Haha....I used to hate Tavia so much I felt like slapping her. There really was no real reason, I'm just a b*t*h like that. But if I had to name a reason...which is a stupid reason to hate a celeb. I hated her in TOB because she was in the way of my sweet Raymond+Li Qian scenes. I think it was...umm...Dicey Business and I started to super like her and now shes my #3 favorite actress!! :]

i used to think that she's lousy and not very pretty. It's eversince that show of her with Adam Cheng, dunno why, i started liking her and even more than Myolie actually..just dunno why..

Tavia had a really annoying voice in 'Dicey Business' so i guess i didn't really like her then.. I don't know, i guess i'm pretty neutral about her. I don't hate her, but i don't particularly like her either. And i don't know about you guys, but she is the worst crier i've ever heard and seen. It's too insincere and fake. Then again, that goes for a lot of TVB actresses.

i used to dislike her a lot too. And watching her in Golden faith made me hate her even more. But i think she's okay now, she can act pretty well. There were some series which i found he to be really good in such as Shades of truth and Dicey Business. But since thi is a haters forum, i won't mind mentioning some of my negative thoughts about tavia since some of you would be too happy to hear. I agree that her crying skills needs to be worked on.. she did improve, but i still think that she hasn't reached her max potential.. when i watched her in tob, i hated all her crying scenes.. like even li qian (she was only 19 years old back then) can cry so well. Tavia was like far worse than li qian, couldn't even cry at all.. (like where's your tears darling? thats not called crying when there are no tears flowing down your eyes?!)
And i don't find her to beautiful at all.. in the past i would find her to be very ugly unless she put on makeup to hide her hideous face.. But i guess from seeing her much now, (tv, magazines internet) i grew use to her look and find her to be average looking.
Tavia's not bad overall, shes considered to be a lot better than most actresses out there these days both personality and skills

i'm neutral towards her, i think she really look like maggie cheung ho yee, and i find her plain and mature looking, but i think tavia is a younger and cuter version. In ancient she can look pretty at times, in tob she looked a bit like kirsty yeung. but towards the end she looked like maggie (mature costume)

both actress sometimes can act well, and sometimes not, soo i'm still neutral, because sometimes i find maggie/tavia annoying, mayb its the role or acting?

I don't know I think Tavia acting is average. She always play the same character to me. There is nothing special about her character there is not one I find that is cute or outstanding but they are all plain and annoying.

When Tavia first came out, I thought she was alright. Innocent looking etc. But somehow, her acting started to bothered me. I don't even know why, maybe its because of her crying scenes and the way she talks. Also, her new image is like..ewww..I found that she was better looking in the past than now. Too much make up on and her face got longer.

I dislike reading stuffs about her. She always try to sound so innocent and down to earth but her words are so contradicting with her new image. This is just my opinion.

They always promoted people that hasn't act that long and they ditch the improved and good actress. Like Anne Heung. Why did they make Linda higher than her? It doesn't work and I am totally bugged. I know a fact and that is I don't like TVB.

Maybe its the look for the roles. Linda has more of the cute innocent look, so i guess thats why they use her as the good girl in HOG. Tavia she can pull of any look but I think they are trying to promote Bosco and Tavia together. So thats why HOG was like that. Also Tavia had lots of show to shine in. They gotta give upcoming stars a chance to show their stuff.

WOW I didn't even know that us Tavia fans were actually aiming for 1000 signatures for the petition! lol! GEEZ it just goes to show how much i'm around here....I mean, even the haters pay more attention to my idol! (well, Tavia's not my idol, but couldn't think of another word) lol! I know that we probably won't get 1000 signatures unless the petition is there for a fair while... and is it even possible to cheat in the petition, because basically when I signed it, the comments and names were pretty real in my opinion....I must say that I too am responsible for more signatures (an extra 20 I think) due to word of mouth around tvbsquare (hehe you guys probably thought I cheated but I dunno how?)....HAHAHA I'm really overwhelmed with over 200 signatures, and I don't think this petition is overrated because we didn't really advertise it greatly to everyone (we passed it onto Tavia fans though).....we're just passing awareness and support for Tavia because we know that she's got heaps of fans around the globe...

anyways, about Tavia's red hair....honestly, I think she dyed her hair way toooooo red...I think that she should either go back to black or even dye it a colour close to black....

Im not a fan of hers but i wouldnt say I hate her. I just hate the characters she plays. She always plays the annoying girl that gets in trouble so the guy will come and rescue her. She is bacially always the typical dimsel in distress which is annoying for me to watch especially im a girl; her characters makes us girls look weak! so i dont hate her but i dont like watching her scenes cuz of the character choices she made.

I used to dislike her... I didn't find anything special about her acting nor were any of her roles impressive. Surprising, I began to like her in The Prince's Shadow. I think I'm the only crazy person to like the Adam-Tavia pairing.. haha. In TOB, eh, I did not think her acting was all that great. I'm sorry, but there were no "FungYi" sparks. A bit off-topic, but I don't see why FungYi fans keep the denying the chemistry RLQ had...maybe it was the storyline, but the FungYi thing wasn't working for me in TOB. Anyway, lately, I have appreciated her much more after learning more about her "climbing her way up" stories and efforts. I seriously believe she has the capabilities to lead someday, but is missing that one factor. She is popular enough, maybe it's the promotion? Or maybe she wasn't a Miss HK or something. She reminds me of Nnadia Chan sometimes, they are usually well-liked but lack many leading roles. Hopefully, Tavia will be promoted more. I don't think she's slutty, rather maturing. She was a "girl-next-door" before, now she is a lot more feminine and classy.

im back!! and surprisingly my views changed about her.. her crying skills finally DID show great improvement.. i watched hog (not the entire series) but i found that she was able to cry wonderfully in the series. And i really enjoy watching her in Father and sons (as of now), she looks really great in her makeup and clothes and i love her character she plays, very strong willed, optimistic, generous.

I used to like her, but all this hype and fuss about Tavia in TOB is kinda gettin on my nerves and I'm starting to hate her just like how I started to hate Charmaine and Myolie. T_T.
BUT, I really feel that her and Bosco were ripped off for HOG, they were merely 2nd or 3rd lines. It's a shame for Tavia, because her character was really refreshing for her, same to Bosco, but the role are only 2nd and 3rd line.
