just watched the 3 1/2 min trailer...SOOO GOOOD
was surprised when WY said to Shen2, "it's been 13 yrs, are you sure it's him you choose?"
expressed it with such anger and sadness and I imagined that must've been hard to act.

Since epi 8 this drama is getting more and more excited! ^__^ a few hours from now and it's silence time again! he he he! ^__^ can't wait for epi 9! ^__^ oh thanks for the spoilers guys! it really helps a lot! understanding this drama without english sub is kinda hard so i only rely on spoilers to get the important details... but then again even if it hasn't english this drama and can only guess what they're saying it wont hinder me from watching! ^__^

there are apparently 2 endings and it will be decided how it show end later according to the poll. Ep9 is really interesting building up the plot bet wy and ss relationship development.

i liked episode 9 but it is still so sad....

in the beginning, WY says if SS doesn't turn around in 10 seconds, he will disappear forever.....i was countin with him and hopin at the same time tat SS would turn around....i was surprised tat he meant suicide wen he said tat he will disappear cuz he jumped into the lake and tried to drown himself....thank god SS did turn around and saved him....
i liked the huggin rain scene cuz it was very sweet and the part where WY saw SS tapin the piece of paper bak together which had his phone # on it and was given to her in their childhood....it shows WY tat SS did not forget about their childhood.....
Vic was soo hott in this episode
...lol....tat was random..... he gets wet a lot in this episode...hehehe....him jumpin in the lake to suicide, then the rain scene, then the scene where he sinks himself into the bathtub....
i'm not too happy tat Xiao Guan came cuz i feel like she is in the way and she will come between SS and WY more in the next episode....ZJ is in the way too but i'm glad tat SS realize all those things tat he did tat was wrong....but i think ZJ and the evil assistant would make a good couple.....
i'm excited about the next episode cuz WY finally agrees to do surgery....there is a chance tat WY doesn't have to die....

omg! i think SS will find out soon tat Vic is the boy from 13 years ago in episode 10.....it's goin to be the airport scene.....i wonder if SS will really be able to speak again in tat scene....the previews r always so good tat it makes u want to watch the next episode so badly....can't wait!

he does go into surgery but it just extends his life for a little while... his cancer spread to far to completely fix!!!! dude he soOoOOoO need to tell her!!! i can picture what will happen next but i want to see it in action!!!!!!! gees this drama is getting really good!!!!!!!!

Ratings for episode 9- 4.28
Two big reasons why it's so high(not exhaustive): 1)Silence is getting VERY climatic and fans are anticipating what'll happen next and 2) Magicians of Love starring 183 Club ended last week(183 has no problem pulling in ratings) and it was the debut of SETTV's new drama, Smile Pasta

just finished eps 9 and it is so good and sad at the same time.
i feel so bad for WY, i can tell that he was debating whether he should tell SS the truth after he found out that she does remember him.
and i love the part where WY said he will disappear if SS doesn't turn her head in 10 seconds. so sad that he decided to die.
Silence is getting better every episode!!! I hope there really will be 30 eps because I don't want it to end.

oh i agree with everyone, i too was counting down with him during that countdown scene. my heart was racing!!! and then BAM! jumps into the lake...very unexpected. i was seroiusly just thinking he'll leave and try to erase her or something...not jump like that.
the hugging in the rain scene, oh that was SUPER SWEET!! the way he just pulled her in and hugged her without questions, makes ur heart just melt. but like all of u said, i was getting really antsy sitting there waiting and hoping WY would tell SS that it's him she's looking for. but well that didn't happen and in a way it's good, will keep the drama going a little further. can't just have them find out so easily u know?
can't wait for next week's episode. but those scenes of seeing WY in pain, it's heartbreaking.

Just finished Ep. 9!! So many parts I liked it Ep. 9. The part where WY fell in the lake and what he said was very touching. My eyes got all red after that part. Another one of my favorite part was when SS was at WY's house and she taped the paper together and had that conversation. That also brought me nearly to tears. Hmmm.. seems like WY's fiancee is gonna start up some sh*t. Ever since she got that new hair, I dont like her anymore.. She's turning evil trying to separate WY and SS.
Gonna go buy the novel tomorrow!! I REALLY wanna know what's gonna happen next!!!!

The only way I can watch it and get caught up to the rest of you guys is when some kind soul uploads it for download or through YouTube because in Canada we don't have these types of channel you can catch it on... Well if you get the dish, but then you still have to wait...

Ya...Xiao Guang sure plan somthing to get WY back...in the trailer she went threathen SS and get into JZ. Her reaction change so much...from the sweet fiancee to the revengeful Xiao Guang. I think her doctor friend like her also...hope she will be good at the end. I quite pity her also.

just finished watching... 
was very excited seeing the theme song and everything , but somehow last eps' flashback just turns it off and got on my nerves. 
what can I say for Zuo Jun, his character's the most hatable man you can ever date.
He's so selfish and trying soooo hard to keep Shen2 by his side.
And lately he's been treating Shen2 horribly, what with all the over-jealousy and pissing off at her face. How can he take care of her like that.
By the way he was NOT sexy at ALL that rain scene
for Wei Yi, well ZZ really, all I can say at that river acting is SUPERB.
His eyegaze before attempting that suicide is truly UNDESCRIBABLE, a mix of so many strong feelings it's a wonder to me how ZZ did it.
His clothes in this episode are brilliant too, brings all that handsomeness out of him.
The scene where Shen2 is taping back his phone no, that's not a dream right?
Cause suddenly it goes back to Wei Yi watching her sleep after the bathtub scene...
I can understand that WY not telling her yet is probably to prolong the episodes...get it going 
wonder when Shen2's going to EVER realise that he's the boy from her past? I mean, WY walking away from that scene where Shen2 told him she wasted the phone no before was quite evident already!
Im not sure seeing from the preview if she's going to find out in the next eps cuz when that contract/letter was held at the Si Xi Yuan members she doesnt seem to be looking at it. So glad he's going on that operation btw!
In the last part of the eps I thought he was going to observe her again, wonder how he manages to dissapear each time she looks back

anyway, ZJ was drinking at the bar and called Xu Li, they both got drunk (well, MUCH more on ZJ) and when they got home he started calling her Shen2, declaring all his feelings etc to the wrong person. The next thing you know he's kissing her.

haha....reading what everyone has to say about eps 9 makes me want to rewatch it again. i'll do that tonight.
regarding the releaes of eps 1 -14, i think it's somehting like a china version where each episode is only 40 mins now. so i'm guessing the first batch will be equivalent to 10 eps shown on tv. anyone know for sure? i'm just guessing here.

4.28the rating is even higher than the first episode of smile pasta which only got 2.99...gooooo zai zai, goooo silence
anyway, silence is getting better and better...I so can't wait for the next episode, and if I didn't misread the chinese characters on his phone, shen shen going to sms wei yi and tell him that she likes him
and i wonder if she will know about his name in the next episode, hopefully yes...i so can't wait for that moment to arrive

the icefish file is a torrent file, not the entire file for episode 9. u gotta use a program like bit comet to open the torrent file which will than download the actual file for episode 9.
i don't understand why cant WY just tell SS he's the person she's looking for! i know he doesnt want her to feel upset if he dies but im very sure she will be upset her entire life if she never found that guy! kinda like its her entire life's regret...and now that SG is in Qinq Dao, he cant really express his love for SS without breaking SG's heart.
anyway SG is soooooooo irritating! she said she will not leave WY till he leaves her and he said he's leaving her already. still go and stick to WY. like he belongs to her. bah!

Xiao Guan is getting a bit annoying.....WY already told her that they're cancelling the engagement, she still has to call him her fiancee.
I wonder why they don't show SS suspecting WY to be the one she meant when she was young. Well...she did say that WY gives her a very familiar feeling...but I want SS to suspect more so that she can find out.

wow...It gets better and better as the episodes go on. I watched HK movies alot and watch many ZJ's movies, but never a fan of him except for few of his songs and surely not a fan of him at all in this movie.
I am a newbie in Taiwanese series and the first Taiwanese drama I saw was Meteor Garden and now addicted to Silence. Can't wait!! ... for ep. 10. Thanks for sharing.

Silence is getting better by the episode. I have to admit it is better than what I had expected. Gotta give props for ZZ's acting....I can totally feel his pain/happiness in the series.
Oh....one thing I want to mention. SS kissed WY before ZJ even kissed the assistant. why do people think that ZJ is wrong when he gets mad at SS for seeing WY. but it's okay for SS to be mad when she sees ZJ kissing the assistant. Haha....i guess it's obvious that we don't like ZJ and would love for SS and WY to be together. Haha...okay...just some of my random rambling here.

YAY!!!! manchie posted more screen caps!!!!! Thanx manchie!!! Yeah, I agree, this drama is getting better every episode. A few episodes back, I almost lost interest in watching it.. It suddenly turned really draggy for me.. thank god a few episodes after, WY found out who she was and she also found out who he is and kinda brought me back to anticipating for Silence again!!

ya near the middle of the 9 eps.
there were parts that were a bit boring..
thatz why i think they shud have cut this series down to just 20 eps or sth.might of made it more interesting!!
but after WY found out who SS really was.
the series did get ALOT better!
