Contrary to the earlier reports that says Park Eun was fascinated with co-star Silence lead man Vic Chou, the latter later on denied. She quoted saying Vic is very witty and not that means she is fascinated with the guy.
2 men stars Andy Hui and Vic Chou were compared by Park Eun and later on said they have different personalities. One being so composed and the other hilarious. Also said that Vic Chou does not notice her much because it might lead to controversial rumour between him and her that might affect relationship with Barbie. As per Park Eun she is not fully aware of Vic having a girlfriend because she doesn't give importance to other people's personal lives while at work.

In Taiwan for 4 months to film "Shen Qing Mi Ma, after wrapping up filming for all of her scenes, Park Eun-Hye very generously treated the staff to a hot pot meal. During the meal she even brought out a card she wrote with her own hand for everyone. Taking a look inside the card, she surprisingly wrote them all in Chinese. Although the message in each card were almost the same, but writing the card in Chinese to give each of the staff, and moreover writing their names correctly - this extra care made everyone very moved and reluctant to see her leave.
The staff said, Park Eun-Hye jokes around with everyone on the set, and will also use a little Chinese to interact with everyone. No primadonna airs of a foreign artist at all.
During the time that she was filming in Taiwan, the thing that gave Park Eun-Hye the deepest impression was, "Typhoons come to Taiwan non-stop". She always feel that Taiwan seem to get a lot of typhoons. She has already passed many a stormy night just this four months alone. Looking at the terrifying winds and rains outside her window always make her worry if there will be people hurt, so she would ask her make-up artist to chat with her, because she doesn't dare to go to sleep immediately.
Park Eun-Hye also laughed and said, she feared that after going back to Korea, she would forget the Chinese she learnt with great difficulty, so she would sometimes speak with her make-up artist in Chinese. But then in a chat between them, they both couldn't be 100% certain what the other was talking about, therefore it's still faster to use Korean.
Having been away fropm Korea for so long, what is the thing she most wanted to do when she goes back? Interesting.. It looks like it's going to be another hit considering all the people thats gaga over zaizai will be watching it! The plot doesn't seem to interest me much, but since I like ZZ, I'd watch it. Too bad I'd have to wait months, maybe even a year or two until I'll be able to watch this in English subtitles. It's always hard for us non-chinese dialect speaking folks..

In her note published on 11/10, Park Un Ne mentioned a shooting scene of "Silence".
Park Un Ne: "We're bad-mouthed couple" (man and woman were the words she used)
The Korean star Park Un Ne mentioned how she be-friended Vic Chou, member of Taiwanese Super Idol Group F4, during the shooting of drama "Silence". The recently returned Park, who since July had been shooting the drama in China and Taiwan, revealed how she and Vic Chou relied on bad-mouthing each other to build a friendship.
When the director of "Silence" asked Vic to teach Park some phrases such as "thank you" and praises in Chinese, the mischievous Vic taught Park something totally different. When she said those phrases, thinking that she was giving a compliment during the shooting, the shooting crew broke out in laughs - instead of praises she said something like "What are you blabbering about?"
Park took an opportunity during a shooting scene to avenge herself. At one scene, she was supposed to hand over a note with some message of love to Vic. Instead, she handed a piece of paper with the number "18" written all over. When Vic saw the note he broke out in laughs and ended up NG'd multiple times. It turned out that Vic had once told Park that the number "38" in Chinese refers to someone who's "nosy and tipsy". Park then told Vic that there's a similar term in Korean but is symbolized by the number "18" instead. So this time Park called Vic "18" to fight back. Park and Vic, both shy actors, relied on ridiculing each other to build a friendship.

Oh I want to watch this show so badly, but it's so sad. I just replied in the Sound of Colors thread saying that I don't know if I want to watch a sad show again and now there's another one. Why do all the shows I want to watch have such a sad storyline to it? It makes me sad just reading it. Oh well, I guess I'll watch it and skip the ending, unless it miraculously becomes a happy ending. Yea...really doubt that would happen, but I will try to watch it nonetheless when it comes out.

Up until now, the dramas Vic has starred were mostly shot in Taiwan, with a few of them shot on locations in Japan. And Most of them are based on Japanese comics. However, 'Silence - Shen Qing Mi Ma’ has broadened its filming locations beyond Taipei to include China's Qingdao and Singapore. The casting has also been expanded beyond the Chinese circle to invite Korea's Park Eun Hye of ‘A Jewel in Palace' to play the heroine. Another costar is Hong Kong's top singer Andy Hui. The collaborations are on a larger scale.
Well, what does the drama's title mean? 'Mi Ma' means password in Chinese. Here it's said to mean the password regarding to one's life. Like the previously mentioned 'The Hospital' starring Jerry, Silence's filming has been proceeding secretly and not many details have been revealed to the public. According to what Ms Angie Chai said in an on-lint chatting on the Sohu entertainment website, this time Vic plays the son of a tycoon and has fortune and successful business that people envy. But then he is inflicted with a terminal illness with his days numbered.
As such, he comes across with a woman who can't talk, played by Park Eun Hye. (Consequently she talks to Vic in sign language.) Actually they have already met when they were kids and their meeting is the only happy memory that Vic has. However, neither of them realizes they have met before. Park Eun Hye was adopted when she was a kid. Andy Hui plays the not-blood-related and protecting brother. The drama is mainly about the relations among the three people. Megan Lai of Mars is involved in the drama playing Vic's Fiancé.
With a limited time frame and looking back on his life path, Vic considers how to best use the remaining time he has. Vic is required to act the internal emotions with skills different than those of 'Mars.' From what happened in Qingdao, the reality is that he's still more widely known as an idol than as an actor. Even though the drama was filmed secretly, many fans came uninvited to the set just to have a look at Vic. Some of them were student fans who used their summer break s to run after Vic. When their summer breaks were over, the filming still hadn't finished. Did some of them give Vic's stay in Qingdao higher priority over their schoolwork and postpone returning to school?
As an actor, while retaining the traits of an idol, he has moved steadily and firmly forward one more step.

I am a Vic ZHou fan- but I have to agree with you... the hairstyle on Vic in Silence is really ... out of place...

In my point of view, I don't think that Vic's hairstyle is that bad. Iactually like his new hairstyle. Hehehe. I'm eager to watch this series too!! I think it will be in couple of months time.

Same... I like this hair style more than the Mars hair style. I think he looks better with short hair. I actually thought they finished filming.. but I guess not. Hope it will be out soon.
