I probably would give this serie a 4/5. I loved this series. I agree that some parts of this serie was so boring. But, overall... it's a really good serie. It's so sad though... I cried so badly in some scenes. x_x;

yesterday night was quite memorable as the whole Silence cast & Chai jie was online (except Megan) to celebrate the ending together.

ZZ ended up chatting with Andy about his HK trip today, Park left a simple message in English, Andy & ZZ both created 2 threads each, thanking fans for all their support throughout the drama progress....

even though I was exhausted staying up till 4, it was well worth it

I timed it so i would be able to watch this whole series all the way from the beginning to the end. I started Thursday night and finish the last episode late Sunday night. This series is really good but unfortunately the ending is not one of those happily ever after one. I also cried my eyes out on the last episode even though we knew pretty much in the beginning what to expect for the ending but my heart was aching for QWY all thoughout the series. I wanted to see a miracle happen but it would have been unrealistic. Vic and Park Eun Hye did a really good job acting and I love all the scenes of them together.

One interesting thing about Silence was the languages, there was Mandarin mixed with Cantonese and then the sign language and writing. For some people it would be a challenge to watch this film because of limitation on our language. I feel fortunated that I understand spoken Mandarin and Cantonese. I did had to look up a few chinese words to understand some of the sign language and note writing. Don't be discourage to watch because on youtube you can watch the Eng Sub version.

One negative thing about watching a series in one go is that I tend to not post as much comments as I would if I had followed it every week. I will try to come back and post much more later one.

the ending of Silence is one of the sadest dramar endings i've ever seen so far. it makes me cry alot
i give it 5/5. this series is great and i love the couple of WY and SS very much. Vic and PEH have the very good chemistry in this series. Vic's performance is really good!

i wish that i can watch the alternate ending so much! cuz he might get to LIVE in the alternate ending. i kept on wishing that he would..........ahaha.... i dont kno about you guys but im glad that PEH is in the drama.. she's a new touch for taiwanese drama.. and a new touch for vic. he kept on starring the dramas with barbie and maggie..it gets boring after a while no matter how much we like vicbie.

i think i am also loving vic more.. they really did a good job making him look even hotter and the character he plays is just so loveable.

i also realized... what happened to XG and Yellow in the end?? Also, did the dad and mom divorce? All we know in the end is that ZJ let go of SS and SS moved to Qi Dao.. and on December 25 of 2006, She went to the place they went to since little and read that letter..

yeah I was wondering what happened to the rest of the characters too. they should at least add that part in! I actually felt very sorry for WY's mum...she didn't get to say any last words to him. Hi I am new here.I have just finish watching the entire series.I must agree that Vic's acting have improved a lot in this series.His acting was so real that I too could feel his pain. A very touching drama.My sisters think so too.So I hope Vic will keep up his good work and improve some more.PS:I also noticed that he didn't where socks in most scene.

i miss this drama...what am i suppose to do now? haha find another drama i guess, but there's no more vic. ahh...i'm bummed. i heart this series, it's my #1 favorite for the "tearjerker" category.

hrmm...i think i'm gonna go rewatch the "happier" scenes. sad scenes, i can't take the saddness right now. that last episode totally drained me.

i finally watched the ending last night....as i agree with everyone, it was SOO SAD.....
i think the ending was a bit rushed cuz i wanted to see more of wat happened to everyone else but it was still a very good ending! Vic's acting was sooo good throughout the whole series ....he definitely deserve a Golden Bell award for his acting!!...it was sooo hard for me to see WY struggling in pain and coughing up blood ....i was cryin so much wen he died ....it was so painful to watch yet i was happy that he died happily and peacefully in SS's arms....now, even thinkin about the last episode makes me sad and want to cry already....Silence was a great drama and it is in my list of top favorites already .....i'm still a bit depressed rite now cuz i won't have Silence to look forward to on the weekends anymore ....i really hope they will show us the NG's and the alternate happy ending so it can cheer me up a bit after that very sad ending.......

I know the DVD version of Silence has the NG parts. I'm hoping some nice soul who bought the DVD would upload it for all of us to see.

I don't know--but i'm not toO satifying w/this drama... don't get me wrong..i am a huge vic fan..but i just don't like the main girl [ms. Park] i just don't see in any ways through out the whole

drama that she matches VIC... she just doesn't... I tried soO hard to like her or at least like her in this drama--but yet i just don't.... I guess maybe she just toO plain..and don't match Vic...that's why...

they should have choosen a different leading lady...not ms.Park..urgh...dummie producer..choose the wrong gal for Vic.... if they were to choose an Korean girl why not some other one... like choi je woo--kim hee sun--song hye guo..either one of those k-lady will make it even better....for all the fans of the lady & fans of Vic....then it will get more ratings..& be a big hit... oh welps what's done is done...can't undone it...

Contrary to you "hottie", I really like Park Eun Hye, she is pretty and perfect in this role.
In addition, there has a chemistry between her and Vic.

I thought that Silence would be 30 episodes. Yeah vic plays very good in this drama. Park Eun Hye is also pretty good. I've only watched one drama with Park Eun Hye in it and that's Jewel in the palace.

^ lol.. i also watched jewel in the palace... but only the first 3 eps! lol~~ i don't think i saw her yet... but i'm watching what happened on the island.. and she's in it.. she's really good at acting.. cuz before i knew it was her.. i hated her!! gosh... cuz she acted as a bad character. lol... i don't think Park Eun Hye looks good if she's like.. wearing or acting sexy stuff.... lol~ i don't think it suits her.
