Actually, I heard from some pretty strict mods that you're allowed to post one or two songs or one or two MV's from dramas or a short NG clip, but no full shows or CD's (for instance, not the whole OST, not all the MV's, no variety shows/promotional events, and no series).
Anyway, I also think that Park EunHye was perfect for this role! Sadly, I haven't had a chance to finish this yet (although yes, I do know that WY will die
), but I happen to think she and Vic have GREAT chemistry and that she's soo adorable as a mute girl. She's very expressive. While it may be true that a big name like Song HyeGyo would have pulled in more viewers (say, from Korea... because the Korean market is pretty hard to break into), she probably would have been much harder to get. And I'm pleased with the end result, anyway.
My mom always used to say that Vic couldn't act (although we didn't watch Mars yet), but she said there was a vast improvement in this one, and she really enjoys watching it. I honestly think that all of the actors did a really great job... well, maybe with the exception of WY's dad, who always had just one expression on his face... I mean, I know that he's supposed to be angry and mean, but there are different ways to convey that
My mom said he was an idol actor when she was my age, LOL. Anyway, I really think everyone was very good in their roles (well, as far as I watched). Even the three child actors, which surprised me... because, generally speaking, I never like the child actors in Taiwanese dramas... but they were very good. It's a shame that they announced that Vic was dying, though! I like my surprises.
