We all know that Vic's acting has gotten better...HOw about Park Eun Hye? I reckon Park did a very good job at portraying Shen Shen but I heard some say that she still needs improvement. Just wanna know your responses by answering these three questions.

Nope I think Park Eun Hye did an amazing job as Shenshen and I can only see her as Shenshen, she was perfect for the role.

I say it was equal. Yes I watch this show because of Vic but then I just fell for Park's acting...she was amazing she and Vic really balance one another out. They were equal.

Hell yeah I would love to see another drama with these two. I really love there onscreen chemistry. They both work well with one another. Would love to see duo team of Park and Chou together again.

hai...i don't really like this series... i like it because of zaizai in it..i don't like the main girl as well..i think this drama not much like taiwan drama, it seems to me rather korean..and i don't really like korean series..to slow for me...hehehe...

if WY's parents divorce the dad wont get anything so that's the main reason he wont accept it but since his mom agreed to give him all he wants to get rid of him I think they indeed divorced. In fact I think he doesnt care with who he lives as long as he has the money.

i just finished watching the whole thing today and i must say...WHY WEI YI HAD TO DIE??? WHY??
i didn't like the middle cuz it was getting too draggy and i got bored...but then when it came close to the end it got so cute, and then sad, and then touching...i cried so much during the last episode i really wish there could be a miracle and he would live at the end...i hate sad endings cuz they make me feel so uneasy! and this drama was particularly sad cuz no one ended up happy T_T

hmm...it doesn't seem to me that Park Eun Hye did plastic surgery...at least i didn't notice anything weird on her face, it seems pretty natural. And i liked her acting as Shen Shen. Some ppl said that it was easy to portray a mute girl cuz she didn't hv to talk but i thought it's more dificult to express emotions when u can't talk, and she did those hand gestures very naturally, so i think she did a great job!

Vic also did a good job but i found his character kinda depressing, i felt really sorry for him during the whole drama...i wish he was as strong as Ling in Mars...

I just finished watching Silence last night. Boy, this movie is really really good. Even though after episode 10, it started to get draggy but the ending sort of make it up for those dull part. I cried so much in this movie. Vic is really really a good actor, he acts well in this movie and Park Eun Hye is so pretty. The ending is very beautiful. Great movie!

Silence is the best , the most touching series I've ever watched! God, it was so great! Even my dad, who rarely watched drama series, said that Silence was very touching. he even watched it twice... He also said that Zai's acting was better than Jerry (sorry...) And he even watched Mars after Silence saying that Zai really can act...

gaaaah i fin watching this 2 weeks ago and it is soooooo GOOD!!!! i recommend this to everybody!!! lol it made me cry so much this one XD and i thought it is very worth watchin because it teaches you alot about life and love and regrets and responsibilities and about priorities in life and you learn sign language from it too XD hehe and park eun hye is soo pretty in this and zai zai is hott as usual XP hehe lol but i wish they'd change the ending!!!! i don't care if it is cliched because the way they end it was cliched too but it was the bad cliche >P pleh i wanted to see them live happily ever after T.T

I LIKE THE BEGINNING BETTER, IT GETS A BIT REPEATITIVE AT TIMES AND THE ENDING IS QUITE RUSHED. OVERALL, NOT A BAD SERIES THOU.

eventhough the ending was expected n i know it prior...still can't help crying at the end...especially at the swimming pool scene...sob sob...from there on can't stop crying till the end of the show...sob sob...

A newcomer of 2006, but bound to be one of the few series that will get you hooked. A very sad storyline of Vic Zhou as he ... ! don't want to spoil the series =] Well, if you want to find out why it's so good, then I suggest you watch it.

this drama to me was sort of okay, quite korean drama orientated but it's cool that somehow Vic ended like this and not those typical tw drama

Just finished rewatching this series yesterday.
The touching last ep. made me cried again!
ZZ 's acting is really really good!

Vic is wonderful in here. Love his character, love him in real life. Andy's acting was good. Don't really like PEH though...

The story was nice, but some parts are a little slow to watch. Other than that... Vic's fans.. must watch!

Yes! Me too! I've started it a while ago, but i wanted to wait until it ended to finish it... but now i dont have the time to finish it yet! BUT i really really want to know how it ended! I remember when i first started watching it... there were some speculations that most people voted him to die in the end!! Did he really DIED??!!! or did he LIVE??!!

some possible spoilers below...
























omg, 'silence' is sooo sad... major tearjerker. i keep watching it and thinking about my own fiance and what i would do if that happened to him... if you're trying not to waste tissues, don't watch this series thinking about your loved ones... lol...

some things i found especially touching/sad:
-the memory clip of him and xiao guang after she found out about his illness.. the way they met was so innocent and sweet, her pretending to have the flu and holding up signs in english...lol... and "qi wei yi, why are you looking at me that way? do you... want to court me or something?" so cute
-when he was holding shen shen in his arms after rescuing her from fainting, saying, 'god, if i could, i would try my best to take care of this woman in my arms for the rest of my life...' *sobs*
-his talks with xiao guang about how he is so afraid, so scared (man, i really was touched by their talks... i think xiao is quite a tragic character... mean at surface, but in the end, she's completely lost the man she loved and could only watch from afar.... and offer him a shoulder to cry on... she was the only one who knew his secret for a long time...)
-all the adorable scenes of wei yi and shen shen so in love and dancing, laughing, making mundane things like laundry look adorable...lol
-xiao guang: do you really love me?
yellow: yes
xiao guang: what would you do if i only had three months to live?
yellow: i would try my very best to get qi wei yi back to you

-when shen shen was hugging wei yi at the airport when he was in pain
-the simulation of christmas 2006 *sobs*

I'm still waiting for the Drama to be release with Eng Subs. So I can buy it. I know it's been fansubbed already that's how I watch this whole drama but I want to buy it so I can re-watch it as many times as I want.

Totally agree with you. It's harder to express your emotions when you can't speak.
I should know, I had to play a mute for my school drama class and it was hard because I had to use every other possible means to express what I'm saying w/o actually speaking.
You have to use alot of facial expressions and hand movements...it's tough..
and Park Eun Hye did an amazing job bringing that to Shen Shen. She played a mute perfectly it was hard but she did an amazing job.
and I applause her in her amazing acting talents...

Oh Tonghua your post has touched me because that is exactly what I felt watching this drama. It was sad yet inspiring and very touching. I love how you saw the bigger meaning to the drama.
The meaning or moral is you never know how long you have on this earth and you shouldn't take ppl for granted...life is too short...
This drama was so good it helps me in my daily life. I try not to be so uptight with my family..I have become more easy going and every now and then I let my family know that I love them...because you just never know...

Oh this drama really put ZaiZai in a whole different look...I mean in MARS he played this tuff play boy guy that was struggling with some emotional scares from his past...but then in here he plays a guy that is so cold-hearted but is hit with the fact that he has little time left so he works to change and last to be reunited with the one person that understood his heart..his love one...

After watching this drama I have become more and more a fan of ZaiZai...I think I'm gonna re watch this drama...

can't wait for Eng subs to be released so I can go and buy this drama...

this show is very touching. i was practically crying in the last few episodes..... all the struggles tat WY and SS goes thru is really sad and touching.

this series was really good.. it was like one of the rare ones where the main male character dies.. i also learnt lots of hand signals from silence xD i wonder if it'll ever come in handy

Hmm i finished this whole series yesterday and i must say that i cried like mad even though i expected him to die. It was especially touching at the part where shen shen spoke for the first time. zaizai's acting has really improved and he looks so good in this series! even though i felt that the middle part was a bit draggy, the chemistry between shenshen and qiweiyi more than made up for it

i think like any typical taiwanese drama, there are always draggy parts in the middle..... sometimes see already also so angry....... i was still hoping for a miracle to happen such that weiyi will not die in the end.....

i just finshed the last episode of silence. *sigh* it really touches me.
although, i know the end of the show, i also wish there would happen a mircale
so zaizais character doesn't have to die. so sad
i felt especially sorry for his mum when she was watching the videos of wei yi and and get the call ...

the hole drama was truly lovely and i could really feel with the characters.

I must say this is a great series. The story was very touching; it began with a sad note and ended with a sad note. Now let me tell you that I dont usually cry during a movie or anything but I couldn't help while watching this series.

The cast was great also!
-Park Eun Hye did a wonderful job as ShenShen, not to mention she is very cute. She was perfect for the role! Her image in the series suits her well and though her character doesn't talk she still manage to pull of every emotion. She look graceful and natural when she do those sign languages (hehe i took courses in sign language a year ago and though American Sign Language and other countries have different signs, i can sometimes make out what she was saying..hehe). Any boy, she's very expressive..especially when she was mad. She doesn't have to yell to show that she is mad/angry, b/c her hand gestures show them all.
-As for Vic, to be honest, I am not and never was a pro-Vic but a BIG bravo to him because I can see he has a lot of improvements in his acting and singing (the song he sang was good). I've seen "Mars" and comparing this series with that, he did better here especially towards the end whenever he was in pain and when he cries. Hehe i must say i like his hairstyle here than in Mars.
-The chemistry between Vic and EunHye was great too. It is not so often that I can see good chemistry between a couple in a series.
-Andy Hui was surprisingly good here. He pulls off some laughs here and there.

The only thing that kinda annoys me are the flashbacks. They do sooo many flashback whenever something emotional come up. Is it really necessary? Especially when the flashbacks are all the same? lol

Overall, it was a very entertaining series. It's something that I still want to rewatch later. Gosh, if only there is English Subtitles DVD out there to buy. I would love to own a copy.

anybody knows when Silence be aired in Philippine Tv?it's been awhile since we F4 visited our country

I've only finally gotten around to watching this (I'm quite slow) and even after the first episode, I was hooked. The beginning kind of reminded me of Green Forest, my Home, and how the lead casts were separated from each other.

The storyline idea looks great. I don't think taiwan has done a mute girl before (but then I could be wrong) and the cast are good actors. At least I'm not falling asleep anytime soon here.

i like andy and his dad in this one they r so funny sometimes they speak mando and sometimes cantonese.

ahhh....the christmas tat just past was suppose to be the date tat Shen Shen and Wei Yi will meet again at tat little house.....it's was a sad and beautiful love story....i can't bear to watch the ending again cuz i will definitely cry...

it was funny cuz i happened to finish the series on the 25th. lol

I thought the ending wasn't much of a tear-jerker (but it was indeed sad). the ending was more of an inspiration.

I just finished watching this series and I absolutely loved it! It really made me think about life and zaizai was great too! I loved him in Mars, but I think in Silence his acting skills were really brought to the test and he passed with flying colors. Everytime I saw him in pain alone it made me feel soooo bad!

Too bad it had to have such a sad ending though. =( Hopefully all the talk about an alternate ending is true! I'm dieing to see it.

i really cried terribly when i finished watching this series. Bravo to zaizai for his superb acting. It breaks my heart to see him hurting like that. his acting was too effective, it seemed so real..hehe
