Wow, you all are discussing about the dates? Well, I remember I discussed about that previously, and guess what, the dates were all mixed up... If you noticed, even the date and time shown on their handphones were wrong, as in 2005, while sometimes they showed 2006...

haha yeah that confused me too - i always wondered if it was 2005 or 2006. but that fake christmas he set up for her was awesome...

yea cuz i was pretty sure the movie started off as 2006.... they went to QINGDAO which was almost right away and that was in september (when she was told her appt was in february)... then VIC was told he had cancer and only had 3 months to live which meant he probably would've died before christmas 2006 (september, october and november -makes sense to me) UNTIL VALENTINES came.. i was like what? do they celebrate a different day from the United States?

Accidentally came across the official Silence web-site quite some time ago but it was in Chinese My minimal knowledge of Chinese was not enough to surf the site without going blind as I was almost cross-eyed by the time I reached the 3rd page If only my parents had enrolled me in a Chinese school when I was young ..... bet you the time lines are well discussed in the web-site

what i liked about silence is that i think all of the actors/actresses did a nice job so talented!

I also went on the website... and since im a chinese failure... i couldnt read even half of it... i could only read like the simple ones... but i went on the website after i watched this drama and its good...

everytime i think about this movie, it makes me sad haha. like the other day on the radio i heard an instrumental of 'try to remember' which just reminded me of silence, and i just got really sad

I remember watching the first episode a while back. Maybe someone else already brought this up, but was anyone else a little disappointed with first impressions? I had just finished watching Vic Zhou in Mars and Park Eun Hye in 18 vs. 29, and I thought they were great in those two shows. I guess I raised my expectations too high coming into Silence...

zaizai made me cry!!!
After wathcing silence, i could say that zaizai really improved in his acting. i am now more convinved that he is the best actor i've ever seen.
for me, silence is one of the most beautiful dramas i've ever watched. why? because silence have a very interesting storyline. second, the ending is realistic. unlike other dramas i've watched, in order to have a happy ending, the writer would have to create a miracle.
i also learned a great lesson from the story. if you really love a person who doesn't love you back, then you have to give him/her up if you really want him/her to be happy. for the sake of his/her happiness, you have to do everything, even if it mean many sacrifices for you.

zai zai's acting was superb... And the ending was realistic... even though it has a sad ending, it still left satisfaction to the viewers.

I'm very impressed the way both of them presenting this kind of drama but i really like both of them working together in acting any of drama....have the others drama that could stay them working? Just tell me if yall got the info...tanx anyway..and i forget that i hav a same birthday with Zaizai...late but still under this month,it won't be the late fan to say happy birthday to zaizai...i will be the huge fan who late to say this,sorry.
