I really love it when I watched the first episode. LOVE IT!! But I do have to wait til there are subs because my Mandarin isn't that good and there were certain lines I didn't get but I understood at least 80% of it which is good!

Can't wait for the next episode and the subs to come out!

I just finished watching episode 1, really good. I find some scenes are quite funny hehe...Looking forward to the rest of the series. Soo happy to see Vic again Not to forget that the opening and closing themes of this series are good

watched the first episode Park Eun Hye is cute really cute and Vic zhou haven't seen him in a long time...last time i watch his serie was Mars...it looks good on the first but i know it will be a sad end:-(

I just watch the first episode and it caught my attention. the story is cute. and are u sure that it is a sad ending? i hope not. but sometimes i like tear jerkers. (like Lavender)

The first episode couldn't battle with SETTV and TTV's "Magicians of Love." Silence had a rating of about 2.88 I believe while Magicians of Love's ratings was even higher than the previous week's episode! Silence will probably do better once Magicians finishes airing and Smile Pasta takes over. Both will probably have fair share ratings with Silence doing better.

And I feel like I'm watching a Korean drama with Silence....and I LOVE IT!!

I'm not sure where else you can get them, but the ratings for the top five programs are shown in the Liberty Times newspaper in the gossip section, along with cd sales. Last week the ratings for Silence and AQMFS made it into a separate article labelled something like "Ming Dao and Wang Shao Wei defeat Zai Zai".

actually, i have watched both serie and i like silence better
magician of love storyline isnt that good and ming dao is becomming very fat,
i like him in WZBQW but now, but i lost my interest in magician of love

I find out the ratings from reading taiwan's news. Magicians of Love is still going strong because it's already at the climax. Everyone's dying to find out what happens. 5 more episodes left and then Smile Pasta takes over(which I also plan to watch since the storyline seems cute and I love Gino!)!

I hate to admit this since I adore 183 Club, but I do concur that Silence is grabbing my attention more than Magicians of Love. Although, I still believe WZBQW is the best taiwanese idol drama to date. I couldn't get enough of Shan Jun Hao/Dong Oh and Ye Tian Yu's lovestory!

Silence had that Korean drama flavor. And it's probably Zai Zai's most dramatic and romantic drama to date! I LOVE LOVE it!! I've seen Zai Zai in Meteor Garden 1 and 2, Love Storm, and Mars and so far, his role in Silence seems to be the best! I loved the scene where he and PEH's characters met for the first time as adults!!

Can someone double check for me in the opening theme. Is it Park Eun Hye that Zai Zai 强吻? First episode at around 21:28....

This series started off well and it's not that boring. Hope the latter episodes will be just as interesting.

i think PEH looks good with ZaiZai. I like Da S but....PEH is prettier.BUT thats just what i think. if PEH was taiwanese, theyd looks CUTEE together!

hey! i just stumbled on the series while surfing the tv earlier. i was very happy to see another series of vic zhou. was surprised to see park eun-hye since she's from Korea. the storyline seems good although i'm not too happy about the "terminally-ill" part of the story.

it's nice to see a drama with actors coming from different countries. also read that this series is supposed to be 30 eps long. wow! that would take a while since the series is being shown only once a week.

thanks for the ppl who showed pics especially Miss Watermelon. it was nice seeing them together. though i wish zai zai's hair is a bit darker than how he's wearing it in the series.

yeah im watching esp 2 right now! so cute! i heard that the drama is suppose to be really sad but thast ok~ VIC LOOKS REALLY REALLY GOOD! too bad he aint single anymore the korean girl is really really cute

just finished watching eps 2....seems like the story is going at a slow pace. but i love the scenes with ZZ and PEH, whenever they interact it's always so funny. especially the part where she was teasing him about needing a ride. from the preview for eps 3, it seems like ZZ finally realizes that PEH is the girl he met when he was young. it's getting more and more interesting..

Very cute ep. 2 again (though I do agree with you, applemashi, the pace is slightly slower but not as slow as Love Contract, so it's still bearable so far). I really like the scenes with Andy Hui and Park Eun Hye. Maybe I have that "underdog sympathizer syndrom", but that's okay. I giggled a bit when I saw the scene where Andy fell asleep on the garbage bin. He looked so cute. Megan Lai carries her role very well and I'm so glad that Zhuan Yi acts so much better here than in DBY. Awesome! Looking forward to next week's episode!

Marvellous on-screen chemistry between ZZ~PEH Ohh, thanx for informing me about Peach Protein ZZ's hilarious ways of communicating with PEH really cracked me up But poor him though -- as long as he appeared in any variety shows, no way he could escape from being questioned on his Da-Zai related stuffs PEH was cute but I feel she looks more graceful with long hair, yeah?

Really enjoyed this drama so far Nice blend of TW-K-HK Andy Hui is ok. Glad to see William So being in the drama, too.

i watched episode 2 yesterday! i love this drama. but i hope it isn't 30 episodes long..i would have to wait forever to finish the series. one episode per week is not enough!

Just finished watching ep2. This is really a very good series to follow. zai zai and the other 3 main cast acted very well.`I think I like this better than love Magician

i have also finished watching,
they really shows alot parts that are aired in the first ep
i hope for next ep it wont be so, because sometime is just annoying
but for the rest, it's pretty good the serie
and i dont really like the rich girl with zai zai, she looks like "look at me, i'm the pretttiest and cutiest", i just cant stand, especially the photo she makes for the dress to send to zai zai

i think the pace of this drama is a lil slower than the usual TW dramas. best to watch everything together rather than 1 episode per week. is it really confirmed that there are 30 episodes in total?

i think PEH's acting is quite good really. though she cant talk in the show, her actions, facial expressions and body language speaks a lot. not just dead positions and relying on the subs to let the viewer know wat she's talking about.

ELLE It's great to see you!! So you're as nuts about Silence as I am huh?! It is SOOO good!! Doesn't the opening theme make your heart ache?! I still rewatch the 20 minute preview on youtube! Looks like there's a lot of kissing scenes in the drama! (And Elle, I'm SOOO hooked on the Korean drama Dear Heaven/Sky! It's a long drama that airs on the weekends and Zerocoffee decided to finally chinese-sub it and I've been watching it all weekend and I'm addicted! I thought about my mom while watching it!)

If memory serves me right, Silence runs until October. I read that in the news when it was talking about Ming Dao and Li Yang's Xing Ping Guo Le Yuan and other idol dramas. It'll be airing all through summer and into the early Fall. So do the math...hehe...

I think Wei Yi finds out about Shen Shen being the girl from his childhood first but she doesnt find out until a while later. That's what the character descriptions say.

OMG i just watched episode 2 today and wow i love the show expecially zaizai haha and this episode was good he seems to be much nicer in this episode then in the first one and hopefully the show will be about 20 episodes cuz i think 30 episodes will be a bit too draggy and 1 episode a week is like a really long long wait

i just finish watching ep2... i find Zai zai's acting really improves a lot..[actually said this after watching ep1...].. his facial expression getting a lot better.... is it true that this is 30 ep? i cant seem to wait so long for the series to end... the lead actress is also very good in her acting... she can express herself really well by not talking and just doing sign language...

as for Andy Hui.. i find him quite cute sometimes.. especially the part where he save PEH from getting hit by the hooligans... really touches me alot.. and also the part where he say no one hug him since young....

this series really worth to watch...

well in kang xing lai le.. zz says that he'll die at the end... but b4 he died he already have a happy ending...well i hope he lie

I think ZZ, Andy & SS play by Park Eun Hey are very good in this series. BUT I could not believe there would be 4 or more languages in this series. Mandarin, Canotnese, Korean & English which I can all understand. So later if this series is shown in other countries some of the voices do not have to be dubbed. I was also surprised that William So (the doctor) made a appearance in this series.

Just finished seeing up to 2 and almost everywhere ZZ & Park goes they almost run into each other.

At the end of 2 they showed a trailer for 3 and I think in it ZZ will know that he is sick & will have a short time to live there if he does find out Park is his long lost love he will not tell her.

With this series it is hard to say who lives & who dies. There can be alot of scenarios such as ZZ lives because Park dies because again another incdent & she gives her liver to ZZ. Or ZZ dies & tells Park he loves her & his parents can not do anything at all. As for Andy ... somewhere in between???

Actually I kind of wish that zaizai would die in this series... Since this series is unlike all his other dramas... the ending should also be different... not happy ending again...
But if zaizai really die in this series... I think I would need about a box of tissues to wipe my tears....

And i can't believe that zai speak english here... and this time it is smooth... although it is only one word...
