OH WOW! They're so beautiful, should've been handsome and super hot if they didn't change their sex. Those guys are really crazy to do that and must be superrrrrr rich.

scary....so scary that she really is a he.. i've read somewhere that cosmetic surgery is a trend in Korea, but what i know is a little nip and tuck here and there not the whole package..

when i first saw her, i have to admit that she is very beautiful, but when i look closely at her pictures, i could feel that there is still something that you couldnt pinpoint what.. when i saw her pic as a he.. you could still see the masculine side to him, just not that visble anymore, i don't know... maybe when she smile....

I listened to their song 'attention' on youtube, it's pretty good. If you just look at them, you can barely tell that they are transgender. Their voices are kinda girly too so it's hard to tell.

Ugh you people make me sick, seriously. I had to sign up and post some information about transsexuals because I realise how ignorant and rude some people are here and have obviously spoken about something they know little of or nothing about.
Yes I am speaking from personal experience.
A basic explaination of how/why a transsexual is how they are:
They are born in the wrong body not the wrong mind therefore if they change their appearance to become male they ARE male and ALWAYS have been since their brain is male. SHE was NEVER a he. Their personality doesn't change [It's like saying that model had her boobs done, she's got a whole new personality now, she no longer likes men and she hates tennis since getting her boobs bigger. Or he dyed his hair and now he no longer likes cheese and he doesn't want to play football, it's all because he ded his hair]. Your gender is your brain and your sex is your male/female parts. They simply are born with the wrong body either for development reasons or chemicals in the brain reasons. You do not call a female to male a female as it is offensive. They ARE male and it is how they wish to be identified so you should respect that. To say SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE A GIRL BUT IS REALLY A GUY is just so offensive.
And another thing, you wouldn't just reach down and find a penis because a male to female would either have had an operation or would be close enough to you to have told you... so yeah. It's a very difficult thing for a person to go through and to see people talking about it like this [either that it's something to idolise or something to be ashamed of and made fun of] really frustrates me. Makes me furious that there's so little knowledge about it out there. Which is why I wanted to speak out. Although it is useless, barely any one listens and if they do it's hard to change their ways of thinking or it's a confusing and difficult thing for them to understand. It is a birth defect, no different to being born with Down's Syndrome for a better way of explaining. It is not just some desire or dream or sudden impulse that they are like it. It is how they were born and it is very painful and difficult.
Please try appreciate their feelings and think how YOU would feel if you were them before speaking. Ugh. Any way, here's a website that might give you some insight:

Doesn't surprise me some of the answers and shock in here. Although with most of these pictures, I can tell they used to be guys. Harisu is one of the better ones in which it is more difficult to tell, but she is very masculine in some of the pictures.

What I don't get is the intolerance of transexuals. In this day and age, you would think with all the persecution one could have for being Asian, or being of one gender, or gay or <insert a demographic here>, you would think we learn a little tolerance. Sure you get your fundamentalist type people who wouldn't accept anything but their own ways, or others that say it is against nature. Sorry to burst your bubble but if you look around at nature you see things happening all over that you call un-natural. Do some research around it.

Learn to live and let live. Too much hate in this world already to be so intolerant. But transexual stars have been around longer than Harisu. First famous one that comes to mind for me is Tula Cossey. If you are wondering what she has done? She was one of the background bond girls in I think "For Your Eyes Only". Plus she has done nude spreads in Playboy as well.

Hhhmmm... hard to believe that she is a 'he'!!! Didn't know that there is something like transgender singers!!
