wow...justin...looks like we can't judge a book by its cover from here...he's really a good singer,strong voice, that is very suitable for r n b songs, and i bet will be the uprising star following the steps of eason chan...way to go!..will definitely get both his albums..they sounded so good...

I instantly liked Volar when I heard it on the radio so I decided to buy the album without 'sampling' in advance the other songs. Conclusion: No big surprise and no disappointment. It's an alright album from the first hearing, maybe it will grow on me from repetitive playing. The ballads of this album didn't touch me as much as the last one. But I like the fast tracks of this album: track 2 (amusing lyrics) and Volar (although it sounds like an American song). Intro is super cute! I'm not much a fan of the English songs too.

A tiny part of the chorus of track 7 sounds like Jay Chou's 'Maple' from his November's Chopin album...

Yeah, track 2 is not bad.

I like that cute voice at the beginning of the song and in between. Its brings back that whole "soul" time back in the days. True SOUL like back in the days with Smokey Robinson.

Actually I think I've heard that similar voice with the same lyrics before. Or maybe I'm just mixing things up.

i agree with the Volar comment...in regards saying ti's too many samples in one...but look at it this way, ppl who's not into american culture might thnink that song is real good with the different samples in one...but for me, i am not a fan of the Volar track...

Yeah, most HK listeners will find Volar different and nice.

The song isn't bad but the whole composition is like a rip of 4 different American songs. Which is the only negative thing.

So people who aren't familar with American music (like gqsmuv said) will enjoy it just like a lot of American music listeners enjoyed "Burn", "Yeah", "My Humps" and that Gwen Stefani song.

listened to this album a couple of times, despite what is said above, i must say volar the song i enjoy listening to the most. yes i agree it's similar to american music, but the reason why i find it refreshing is because i haven't come across this type of music often in the hk music industry. the main reason why i listen to hk music is because of the language, so if thats put together with some good music, i definitely won't complain

i quite lykd dis album, most da songs were quite nice. Volar was ok, sounded alot lyk usher tho but it wasnt 2 bad. i lyk his slow songs tho, theyr all reali nice and dis albums gt less english den his 1st album wich is gud. i lyk english songs but his 1s lyk 'wite xmas' i jus cant stand. gota say tho, sum of da slow songs on his 1st album were beta den da 1s on 'no protection'. still its a gud album, justins a gr8 singer.

justin lo is mega talented most of the songs written by him have lead the artists to win major awards...just look at big brother sung by janice...w/o that song janice would never be a true original artist by singing all leon lai's old songs...plus he recently wrote "a woman with a past" sung by miriam yeung...damn now thats gonna be another big hit!!
also "no protection" has the best ballads with musical talents...track no.2 and volar is ultra catchy...and "kong" is definitely for those who fell in love with "good person" he also for some reason has perfect complexion and pretty eyelashes xD

I really like Justin's new album. Does anyone know if that's really Justin singing as a kid on the first track. It's so cute to hear that kid singing an Alan Tam song. Justin must have sung popular songs when he was young. I sure would like to know.

His first album was awesome i couldnt stop listening to it for months but his second album really didnt catch my attention. I mean his second album had a few songs which were really good slow songs but then he mixed it up with a few songs that didnt really match his singing style because hes got that really long drag voice that makes slow songs sound good but then he had those funky songs that Eason would usually sing so that messed it up but his first album was soo good that he became my #1 male singer. Overall he is a talented singer lets hope his 3rd album will be better.

JUStin is a very good singer... danm he was only in the industry for couple month n he have his own concert already... but i do hab to admit that he have a very good voice.... very talented

Justin's 2nd album is amazing, liking it more and more but who is that kid singing in the intro and the voice singing "I can't see anybody would love like this..." in the 2nd song? Volar has to be my favourite track and BTW Volar is actually the name of a cluv in HK that Justin likes to go to and it sounds alot like Usher's songs because he wanted to make it like Usher's songs...

justin is REALLY good. his songs r really good and the entertainent vircle in hk really need more people like him. the songs that i like most is erica n volar. they sound really hip n different from normal hk songs. When i heard volar, the beginning sounded so american hip hop and i thought it was another edison song. then he started singing n i was shocked. i recognize the voice and was like 'god! thats justin!' den i downloaded the song n listen to it whole day till my mp3 battery went flat.

For some reason I do find his first album more catchy but I like his second album a lot too. I like the two fast songs (song #2 and Volar), especially #2. He did a great job. I didn't think he has the fast song voice too. As for the voice in the beginning of the second song, that could be him. I tried it before. It's pretty cute. Just record yourself saying something in a normal speed and then use the computer to double the speed of that recording and you'll sound like a chipmunk too.
