Wow.. what a great newcomer! He's so talented - much better than the other newcomers in the industry at the moment. At least he can compose songs etc but he's voice is incredible. He will have a great future in the industry. Cant wait for him to release his album!!

He has a great voice...way better than most of the singers out today. The ballads are catchy too, not like the songs out now that are monotone and makes you depress

Miriam,Leo,Justin & Mark have heart-to-heart talks

Miriam Yueng, Leo Ku and Justin Lo attended the premier of Starting from the Centre of the World (由世界中心開始), this program will start airing from the 1st of October. In this special music program filmed in Australia, not only did the three singers sing, but they also had heart-to-heart talks with Mark Lui, Mark said that Miriam is ‘blacked face’ and Leo is 'determined'.

Mark said that when Miriam was recording, she will take her usual laughy face. Her face will turn ‘black’ (broody). Miriam says, “When it comes to work I am very stern. There are people in the entertainment circle who are sterner then me. People handle their work differently, so becoming broody and stern isn’t such a bad thing. People have been very stern with me when they were working. I am not afraid of this because I know they are either thinking really hard or very nervous.”

Miriam said that she has had heart-to-heart talks not only with Mark but with Leo and Justin as well. But she has not spoken to them about the things that are very uncomfortable to say. Miriam says, “If you don’t want to say something, no one in the whole world would know. Forgetting is better than also keeping it in your heart.” There have been reports that Charlene Choi and Ronald Cheng have been wearing lover bands. Miriam said, “I do not know. The love relationship between Ronald and I is already history.”

Mark also said that Leo was very determined. Leo said, “Mark is saying when I play video games, I am very determined. It goes well with my star sign Leo. Who doesn’t want to win when playing video games? Might as well say I am a person who likes getting what they can. I am determined about this year’s awards? I will do my best to score goals.”

Finally, I found out what his last name is. I know his name is Justin. I was looking for his song but founded in this forum. He is very talented. His voice is very good. Hopefully, he will come out with an album soon.

Leo and Justin thinks about a name for their group

Today, Leo Ku and Justin Lo collaborate to hold a concert. Leo and Justin said in an interview jokingly that they are thinking about a name for their ‘group’. One of the songs they are going to sing is called ‘Crystal’. Justin said, “This concert is very important to me, so I am very nervous.”

Yesterday Leo Ku and Justin Lo held a music concert in Kowloon, along with Jan Lamb as the guest performer. Justin and Leo appeared in a 'black and white' look, and Leo joked that they are the 'black sesame bean curd', inviting the audience to 'eat tofu'. When the concert is nearing its end, both of them sang the song 'Medley' and suddenly rushed down the stage to hand shake with the fans, causing everyone to lose control. The fans touched everywhere including Justin's waist, but both of them let them 'touch everywhere' and not be mad! Later both of them and Jan wore an "Alive" t-shirt, and Leo joked that Justin is Daniel Wu, and he is Conroy Chan. During the performance, Justin was very anxious and forgot a little lyrics. He gave himself 60 points, just passing, but Leo gave him encouragement by his side.

He didn't do much on the TVB show... but the one to watch would be the Aussie music special which he did with Miriam and Leo and Mark... it was a bit contrived (it was scripted!) but otherwise okay.

I didn't think he sang Leo's songs in English at the Sydney concert...
The only English bits were the chorus bits where he sang, "do you wanna hear Kei Zhai sing?" and bits of the English version of "Dai Hung"...

I've got the English version of Sheung Jui Yan if you're interested though.

Hmm... so far he has only plugged 3 songs - Ho Yan, Erica and Meng Ngarn...
Sheung Jui Yan (English version) was the demo version which he presented to Leo... the English versions are usually what he originally wrote.

Justin said that his CD will be out late November...
He didn't write Ho Yan... the only 2 he wrote (which has been out so far) is Erica and Meng Ngan.
However, he said that 90% of the songs in his CD will be written by him (so the odd one out would be Ho Yan) and that there will be 2 English songs in there as well!

It's going to be very exciting!
