Actually, when I originally heard the song and thought 183 club was singing it, I thought that nasal voice was Johnny's first ever solo part! But it was Victor after all. I'm surprised Jacky isn't always happy with his hair. I've never seen him with a bad haircut (in my opinion). Where as the stylists just don't seem to know what to do with Mingdao's hair: sometimes it's curly, sometimes is short and spiked, sometimes it's lank etc etc. I think Jacky has the best hair out of 183 club (but I think Jacky has the best EVERYTHING out of 183 club, so I'm kinda biased )

It's good he eats healthy food at home, because the food 183 club eats while on tour looks pretty horrible. I was watching the behind-the-scenes footage on one of my DVDs from when 183 club was in HK promoting WZBQW, and after their performance they were all given these identical little pre-packaged meals that looked really bad...as guess that's what you have to put up with on tour.

out of the five people in the 183 club, i love Jacky the most...although his acting may not be as good as Ming Do and he isn't as funny as Shao Wei, he is the best singer of the five and next is Ehno

Of course you're entitled to your own opinion, but I disagree. I think Jacky's a great actor (especially as Ying in TGDJY. He kinda scared me the first time I saw him -- the sign of what a good job he did playing a bad guy!), he just hasn't had as much acting opportunity as others (he's never had a leading role, for example). And he was genuinely funny as Fernando in AQMFS, especially when he organised fake parents for Richie!

I agree! On TGDJY I thought jibusai was the worst possible baddie until Ying came along. He was creepy. But Jacky can really be funny. In Magicians there is the scene where he talks to the journalists about kelan's sick dog lol. Jacky's a great actor and a great singer.

Yeah, I was absolutely surprised the first time Jacky whipped out his cooking skills on HaLin Guo Min Xue Xiao... because he just looks so... you know, "macho" and a little like a playboy (I'm not saying that he is one)... and it turns out he used to win like mini-cooking competitions at his school and stuff. And he is soo serious when he cooks, which is really quite attractive

I really hope his character isn't ANOTHER playboy...that was annoying enough in AQMFS. Oh well, whatever he is, he'll do a great job because he's such a versatile actor. You can say what you like about Ming Dao and Shao Wei being great actors, but lately they've been playing very similar roles. Jacky on the other hand has been everything from a mob boss to an airline pilot. He always brings something different to every character he plays.

There are some medical terms which I don't understand. But the very brief I think it's about Jacky has a cyst in his saliva gland. He used to have it in the left side, operated 5 years ago. And now it's on his right side. He can't talk for several days but the operation wwon't affect his singing career..

Poor Jacky...at least it looks like he'll be better soon. One of the articles said the cyst thing wasn't hereditary, but I wonder now that he's had the operation on both sides of his face whether there's a chance it could come back again? I really hope not...

Don't worry firefaery. I haven't heard any news to say that they kept Jacky in hospital longer than they were planning, and if his condition was serious they wouldn't let him out in the first place. And the doctors have been saying the operation won't affect his singing (it didn't last time anyway).

Poor jacky. . .I have been wondering what he's been up to for awhile now. Hope he's doing okay now. . .operations are always not good and very unpredictable. . .even though they say it won't affect certain things. . .it sometimes does depending on your body's ability to heal after the treatment. Yea, how is Jacky doing?? I hope that he will recover soon. I didn't even know that he had an operation before... Lets all pray for his recovery.. About the news, I would translate but then my Chinese isn't that great. IT is also in simplified Chinese too. I will skim the article and tell you guys some of the highlights.

I am skimming the articles and it mentioned that Jacky's mom was there to take care of him.She was always by his side. What a great mom. Besides Tony Sun Xie Zhi, Johnny from 183 also visited him. They mentioned that Jacky didn't feel anything when he smiled. HE couldn't really talk. They also talked about whether he was able to kiss girls or accept kisses from girls... hee.. Something like that...IT is great that it won't affect his singing career.They also said that after the surgery, Jacky just stayed in the hospital for 3 days and then can come home and rest at home. SO I am guessing that means he is ok and is making a good recovery if they allow him to leave the hospital. Therefore, we all don't need to worry. Jacky please take care and get well soon!!

Basically the hosts of the show were saying how they really like Jacky's voice and how it gave them a great feeling. When Jacky sang live, she thought that it was prerecorded on a tape. Jacky then mentioned how he bought a violin when he was young and liked to perform, especially during X'mas. He liked to sing X'mas songs in English. BUt the female host was saying how disappointed she was that he was going to sing in English she didn't really like to listen to English songs. BUt the male host said to let him sing it since it is X'mas time... SO he then started to sing "Silent Night"... Something like that, please excuse me for any mistakes. My CHinese isn't that great and am doing this from memory...

OH, I saw that whole show about the English test... What do you guys want to know about it? I don't think it is because his mandarin isn't good, but it's just that the host's English is not good enough. Even for me who also knows Mandarin and English became confused.. FOr example, at one part, they pronounced "wheel" as "whale/well" and Jacky became really confused... Then he asked for them to spell it out, then he said that is it pronounced "wheel" as in "4 wheel drive". ANother one is when they talked about prepositions, but Jacky didn't understand the word prepositions in CHinese so he asked for the English word for it. But they couldn't give it to him, so they just gave him some examples of them. Basically through the whole show, they started from elementary level to the advanced level. Each time/stage/round, they would give them a topic and then say a word in English. The contestants who are the 183 members had to figure out if that word was associated with that particular category or not. IF that word was part of the category, they would make the shape of a circle. But if not, than they would have to make the shape of an X to show whether they understand what the words meant. Get it??? It took me awhile to figure it out too since it was really confusing...Hope that helps!

Ok, me sneaking on again... YEa, it is pretty confusing. I didn't get it at first either. Do you understand CHinese?? If so, you should be able to get it after awhile... I think if I remember correctly(I saw this awhile ago so don't remember everything) that they are supposed to understand what the word means. THey are given a category/topic, then they are supposed to make the shape of an X if it doesn't belong and the shape of a circle if it does belong. Therefore, it means they are required to not just know what the word is, but what it means as well...
