Post errors/mistake you found in this series!

I don't really notice these things but I kept re-watching Melissa scene's. In ep 3, Melissa was talking to Bowie and she's like i'll write a description of pain killers for you. Then Bowie interupped her and she didn't write anything but was just flinging her pen or something and then she just closed the file and gave it to the nurse. So she didn't even write a description for it when she said she is. Aah this might sound confusing cause it's hard for me to translate chinese to english lol. If you want to check, it's 13:50 in ep 3.

The time is actually 14:25. Hmm.. I don't think that's an error cause she does play around with the computer afterwards.

LOL but she suppose to write it on the file 'cause she was about to do that.. like write a prescription and then she never did.

i dont know, but i'll check it out... there was another mistake wid moses when he was playing tennis wid halina and the rich guy (yoyo's dad) and moses was wearing shorts wid no designs... and then when the rich guy gets a heart attack and is brought to the hospital moses was wearing shorts wid stripes on the side... strange...

hey misslily are you talkin about the part when bowie asks her the IQ question...? well if it is then i would say there wasnt any error... 'cause she said she was gonna tell him what he needs to do, but then he said he knew and listed all these things and then she said fine and she'll see him next time... so basically she didnt have to write anything down... hope this is correct...

Nope, not IQ question part. Bowie saids everything that Melissa has to say but she still suppose to write the prescription for him even though he knows like.. to eat medicine on time, get enough sleep etc etc.

In episode 07, Melissa and Gigi in the bar/restaurant? They talking about the bloody doll. Then Bowie and Raymond comes in. They were all talking and Gigi had to leave for a case. Then you see Raymond, Maggie and Melissa outside the restaurant/bar. It never showed Maggie coming in or saying she was coming. So she just appeared out of no where.

saw that prescription part again and that was when bowie was givin an excuse why he doesnt go check-up... i dont think you need medicine for a fracture...

uh.. if u watched it more carefully.. before bowie and raymond sits down to talk, raymond was saying that bowie should've told him that he was driving lawrence's car so he doesnt have to call maggie to pick him up. so thats not an error.

and the previous one u said, that couldnt exactly be an error cause she could've written the prescription already and she just got the chance to say she wrote it for him already.

ooh..ic. but then the first could still be an error. the 2nd one i rewatched nd he did mention.. i guess i didnt fully understand what he said.

Found an error in episode 1.

When the two doctors place the dead body on the second table, it clearly shows nothing on the other side of the table (14:11). However, when the camera switches angle, two carts full of bottles and other stuff are there (14:13).

This is done so that viewers don't see the body's private parts .

umm...dont remember which epsiode but with moses's son when he hit the other boy the teacher told moses the boy's name was billy but then when moses goes to question his son...his son says i didnt hit philip!...did my ear do something or was that an error?

i don't remember which epi (it might be epi 3) when Moses was playing tennis with the Ho Sau Yan guy...he was wearing capris...then the next scene they were at the hospital and Moses was wearing shorts instead....

also, in episode 5...
the case where the dad abused the daughter,
they were all 'slaughtered', and the dad claimed that the mom did it..

when they were trying to save the mom, her eyes were closed, then when her death was certified, her eyes were wide open!

Wow! you ppl are really observant! I found a mistake in episode 10. (correct me if i am wrong). Moses's mom got heart attack but she was pressing her hands on the right?

i dunno if it counts...
in episode 8 about 6:05? when bernice drops the glass of water... she reaches down under the table w/her right arm.. but then it was her left hand that was shown... which is the correct side where her scar was.. kekekek o i just think its funnie.. b/c the position was weird... o

That could be a error but although it's rare, some people are born with their hearts on the right side.

Found an error in episode 10. When two nurses, Bowie and Anson's boyfriend (forgot his name) were sitting together, one of the nurses said Anson's boyfriend bought the last cake just for Anson (3:40). He refused to let Bowie eat it so Bowie went off saying that he would buy one for himself (3:55).

so what is error in this scenario?

i think the error was that chris saved the last cake for anson but bowie was like i'm gonna go buy my own.. maybe meaning that he'll buy a cake on his own but that wouldn't make sense 'cause chris bought the last one already...

Not really a mistake but do you notice that the doctors, especially those who works in ER, never got blood on their coat. They always stay clean at the end of each operation whereas their patients lose a lot of blood.

y would they get blood on there coats? its not like blood splashes or squirts. they mainly use there hand to touch the wound.

I'm not exactly sure what the error is but in episode 12, Paul is trying to show that card trick to Frances, the cards keep changing everytime he is explaining, the card trick would not work...

error in epsiode 8
when mellissa checked the computer on that person with the left hand that was harrassing her
the hand circled on the screen was the right hand, not the left hand

actually, that was not a mistake. The screen was "Amputations" so that means the right hand was amputated and the guy only has the left hand.

in episode 13, after tracy's dad gave the speech in court, when they were in the car, tracy's dad said "Yoyo" as his daughter, but his daughter was tracy

yea. i was just about to write that here. haha. it was funny to me.

not sure if its a 'mistake' but the person who plays derek's mom (ep 15) played an ER doc, joe's mom in healing hands I

haha i rewatched this scene...it is funny..she reached for the glass with her right hand but the camera zooms on her left hands almost instantly...

there is also a mistake in ep 13...
the necklace of bernice in 5:00 is not the same as in 8:12....

In episode 16 towards the end, Gigi and Lawrence were sitting on a table dicussing about MC & Sarah.. The chinese subtitles spelled MC's last name wrong.."Lau" haha. It suppose to be Lam.

a lot of hte actors/actresses in HHIII prob appeared in the other chapters too cause they dont hav enough people to go around for different roles..

by the way, the nurse, eva, wasnt she ms. mok in the previous one also a head nurse? i thought they just called her eva cause she got an english name and still played the same part, but i thought i heard later in the series, she was not called by "ms. mok".

i've been wondering if they used real people for the corpse examination...i thought they were going to use a dummie or something for "geet jai's" corpse or maybe split screen shots of his face with a dummie body, but when they flipped him over i can see him breathing. if you look closely , you can see his back rising up and down...

well it's more realistic to use real people as they are trying to capture the real situations of hospital/doctor's lives. It's not only in this series that we see the actor (who is dead) breathing (such that their chest rises up and down)...it occurs in all series if you look closely, sometimes you can even see their eye movement under their eyelids. Hence, you cannot request the actor themselves to hold their breath while they shot that screen.....that's impossible. Maybe they can breath more slowly to make the effects more real.....but that depends on the actor/ess themselves....I mean it is acted out.

They do use real people for the corpse examination but the actors/actresses put on some kind of body suit. If you live in Vancouver/Toronto and watch Scoop today, it explains briefly about the process.

you know why he said "Yoyo" instead of Tracy? cause he was in a similar series called The Last Breakthrough...and that series was about doctors too...and his character's daughter's name was Yoyo!! that guy mixed up the two series!!!!

Yeah I know, that girl's series name in the last breakthrough is call "Yoyo"...but her real name is "Sharon". Whereas in Healing Hands, Yoyo is Tracy's real name....I don't think he shouldn't have made that mistake, besides, isn't HH3 produced after the last breakthrough.... Kinda weriod that no one caught it while they filmed it.

i will have to say d main errors of dis film is dat everyone close is slowly dying from sickness or being killed. i find it very annoying and that its not interesting anymore. as i see it more as d same as part one and part 2 n i rekon part one and 2 r more interesting den part 3. dey should make part 3 interesting and its always pauls gf always d one who always having sumfing wrong n died.

haha yeah i thought i heard it too when i first saw that episode, but i didnt think about it so much, but now when u guys are mention it, what a big mistake! hahaha

Why are they always at the pub when they have free time? I know this is not new mistake, it was the same in HH and HH2, but they are doctors right, shouldnt they care more about there image.

Haha, cause Tracy's real name is Yoyo right? Sounds like he's pretty close to her than if he blurted out 'Yoyo' instead of 'Tracy'.

Well, doctors are humans too right? So doctors don't have the right to go clubbing or visit the pub? That would be so unfair to them then.

haha did anyone notice in episode 17 i think when gigi is first examing the 'dead body' you can see him exhale a breath...hahahaha

in ep21, when bowie is bringing mellissa home, her housedoor was open due to the script, but their neighbour's door was open too

Humm....their neighbour's door doesn't look like it's open to me (that is the white door next to theirs), i rewatched it a few times ...maybe it's the shadow or the lighting that made it looks like it's is slightly open (a crack).

Yes! I noticed that also. Michael's chest/stomach was rising and falling. It was quite obvious to me. Michael should have held his breath longer! Hehe

Yeah...suppose he should have done that or at least breath more slowly. Don't really know how long they shot this scene or NG they have done, Michael may have been holding his breath but you can't hold it forever....

Don't know if you notice or have done experiement on yourself, if you hold your breathe for too long, you tend to breath more heavily...since when u were holding your breath, the blood that flows through the lungs are not getting oxygenated enough to give to the muscles/organs in the body...so the body grasp for more oxygen, getting you to breath in more (ie...such that you're doing heavy exercising....)...so it's really hard for actor/ess to pretend to be death....hehe

I know, they didn't really talk much about it. All I can recall is that they caught the person who was killing Sarah's patients (it was just an coincidence that the killer's victim was all Sarah's patients....he picked them because they are weak and couldn't fight back since they have bone injuries).

I don't think that the guy who was calling Sarah and harassing her was that killer....don't even think that person was even caught. It seems to me that it was just another coincidence that after the killer was captured, those mysterious phone call was gone too. Correct me if i'm wrong! But, in my opinion, i think those phone call was made by that guy who told Sarah to write him an handicap note so he can still get paid by either his company or the government.

They can't practically walk around wiht blood stains isn't it.! I bet you do not want that kind of sight in hospitals whereby doctors walk around with bloody coats.
Obviously they would have changed it and walk around clean.
I have seen Paul in the operation room whereby he got stains all over when he was operating his friend's baby. Rememmber!!?



I agree!! That solving of the mistery made me dumbfounded, and had me to think whether these autopsician's are really smart or NOT in this case.

The guy who was harassing Sarah was the guy with only the left hand (because of his amputated right hand). They talked about it in episode 9. He was the guy that the police caught and Frances took the DNA sample of (because they thought he was the killer also). but his DNA sample was not compatible with that of the killer's so he is not the killer. But I guess he confessed to harassing Sarah because Frances told Sarah that no one will harass her anymore.


the killer is the person who tried to rape Grace. the guy was shot and caught by the police and in the hospital, henry told chris that the rapist was caught. and then when they were in the bar, frances and edmond was saying that the rapist's DNA matches with that of the killer's and he is also a lefty. edmond then says to frances "good thing you called the police in the hospital, or else there would be another victim".

so actually, both of these cases were solved.

The doctors never have to pay for their food in their private cafes but in episode 24, Betsy said she'd pay for Chris's breakfast but she didn't even have to pay for herself.... This happens throughout the whole series, they just get food for free.

Can any1 enlighten me as to why the surgeons operate in the dark, and why Gigi examines corpses in the dark? is this real!??
