i just hate her from JUST LOVE and when i found out she's in THE HERBALIST'S MANUAL i just wanted to barf...but i also heard that michelle yip is in there too so i just watched it...but damn when selena's character first existed i just hated her stupid high-pitch voice and fake ass acting...well if you guys hate her too..please reply and let's shiet talk about her =]

I thought she was good, Her personality seems very cute to me. I'm glad Frankie and her ended up together in the end. Hope I see her more in future productions.

I don't have anything against Selena, just want to share my opinion. I take a glance at this serie when my brother was watching it and she was in a scene. Anyway, she doesn't look good in ancient serie. I find her servant prettier than her and even my brother agrees

i don't think she deserve to win the miss photogenic from the miss hong kong of 2003. i remember there was a contestant that was way prettier than her but didn't win. i believe that pretty girl last name was lee something. she's the tall one that made it to the top 5. i thought she was pretty and talented and should've won atleast the top 3 but i guess she didn't make it. the judges are lame. my mother told me it's because they're picking the very rich peoples, because they made a deal with the tvb company and all.

selena looks ugly and VERY weird...i think she should put braces on her teeth (the downward teeth)..her acting is bad..and she has this high pitch voice which is very annoying sometimes..i dont really hate her ; but it's just that, I dislike her....I remmeber the first time she appeared in herbalist manual..my bf just said, "who is she? she looks so ugly"..hahaha..

I really hated her in Just Love. Her acting is very boring and not natural but I guess that was sorta her first series so she's a beginner. I also hated her in Real Kung Fu...argh~

but I think she improved a lot since Face to Fate. Her acting is getting better and I found her pretty good in To Grow With Love.

I hate her when I saw her first series... but gradually after watching Face to Fate, I kinda change of opinion of her. Her acting isn't that bad, but not that good either. I didn't even know she's a MHK X___X

hated her for every series she done, but in a change of destiny, she improved a bit. still her acting is really raw, but compared to toby leung, its still a big improvement.

I really love Selina, she's a very nice person because she doesn't have many negative rumors. And she went through a lot to be where she is right now. Before, she went through bankrupcy and lost all their famly wealth(father business) and she went to go film.

She does not have attitude problems, she;s improved lots in acting, she's pretty, nothing to hate about her.

i kind of agree with you about her unnatural acting in just love but she was much better in face to fate(with ray xD) and to grow with love! she improved ALOT. i find her quite annoying in the herbalist's manual at first too but slowly towards the end i think she's fine.. but i still couldnt get over the fact that she ends up with frankie lol i muchly prefer michelle+frankie (:
besides, she may not be as pretty as your standard but i hope people will start recognizing her acting and personal instead.

She is okay, I mean she did okay in to grow with love and face to fate, I find her quite entertaining, she is improving.

i watched love bond and am facing FTF now and i see improvements in her acting but it is not great. Her acting is still not natural enough and her expression seem forced. but i must say she is pretty and skinny. i haven't watched to grow with love or a change of destiny or SL2. maybe she is good there.

be honest.. selena always failed to attracts me with her acting. i can't get the feeling of support/love her character.. because her acting is just plain. but i must admit, she has improved a bit.

I totally love her and support her. Yes, her acting wasn't so good in Just Love, but for a newcomer it was okay. She has improved in every series shes been in and continues to improve. She has a bright future in if she continues the way shes going.

Her acting has improved a lot since Just Love. She is getting 2nd lead roles in almost all of her series right now. I can predict that she will be the most improved actress in 2008.

Hey, wasn't she collaborating with Kenneth Mah the second time in Survivor's Law 2 after To Grow With Love? Was that the same person? I don't really remember because a lot of Hong Kong female artists look really similar to me.

Erm... in SL2, what scares me is that I find her resembles Sam Chan so much! It creeps me out to think that they could be real siblings. Hahaha... I don't like her character in SL2 though. Other than that, I find her ok in other aspects. She just seems like the type of actress who could pull off innocent roles well.

you guys should watch The Seventh Day. She's really improved a lot, and she looks really pretty there. I haven't seen Just Love, so no comment about it. But since a lot of people said she was quite bad in there, I'm sure her first time probably wasn't that good then. But I actually really like her. I think she's actually one of the actresses with potential.

I'm not a fan of any of the S.H.E girls...but threads like this make me realize why I like Selena more. She seems to be the most underrated and basically ignored, unless she's going to be bashed on, in the bunch.

Don't get me wrong, I saw her acting and it wasn't that impressive, but then I felt the same about Hebe and Ella...I think they're just as bad in acting, if not worse.

I think there should be a notice sent out...informing management that not all singers can act. Please, stop giving them dramas.

If we're talking about HK Selena, then I understand what everyone's talking about. I wasn't impressed by her acting either. I thought it was Taiwan's Selena----who I think she should be lumped with her other cohorts of bad acting Hebe and Ella.

She is pretty but I find her voice a bit annoying. I saw vast improvement in Tai Chi, Survivors Law and To Grow with Love.

I think this is the meanest thing I've said about someone about their look, but I can't watch her series because I'm always distracted by her look so I seriously don't know how her acting is. for some reason, I can't find her attractive in anyway and it's just distracting me and I can't believe she won something in a pageant.

I personally think she is quite pretty and Selena was alright in Life made Simple too, quite good as a mentally unstable pregnant lady. But she really did improve alot in the latest series such as Change of Destiny, Face to Fate and all, yeah. All I have to say is that those roles she has ain't really good.

She is not that bad and she is quit pretty. She is just one of those actresse who doesn't get lead role so leave her alone. Plus she is rarely in many series.

She's' a decent actress. I reckon she has improved over the years and she has a pretty face. The one thing I don't like about her is her voice. She have this whiny tone when she speaks, especially when she raises her voice or is speaking very fast.
