For the Bobson commercial, I agree with mimoann I like the outfit she has on. THat's because the top of it is kind of puffed (if you get what I mean) so it doesn't make her look too skinny... sometimes, she wears dresses or really tight tops and it makes her look really skinny.. But seriously, that photoshoot she's got is really pretty!!! She's just getting prettier and prettier.. Heee. Wow, Angela was great ... in the final shot, you could see the tears in her eyes even as she smiled.
She must have pleased the director!!

I have watched all her serials - MVP, Dolphin Bay, Bump off Lover and now am watching RP. To me she is definitely one of the better dramatic actresses around. (Althou I didn't really like her look in MVP)

However, as much as I admire her acting abilities, she doesn't really act 'cute' that well yet. i mean she can act lovable and sweet but somehow not cutesy. I think I feel this way becos I am comparing her to Rainie and Cyndi who can act cute very convincingly. She can improve though, if she wants.

As for comedy, I think she has good comedic timing. She's more natural in the comic moments than all the exaggerated acting we get from the jap butler guy, the maids and the extras.

Anyway, my favourite Angela serial is still Bump Off Lover.

Bobson is a Japanese co. and it's common to air Japanese-related products commercials in TW (e.g. Lotte gum, Lucido-L). The fact that older generations of TW knows Japanese is a plus (e.g. my grandma).

Yes that is the rivalry I am referring to. CE fans seem to see her as a rival for either the CE chemistry or Chun's 'affections'! Sometimes I'm not sure whether they are talking about real life or 'reel' life.

Anyway, it doesn't affect me one bit. I have been a fan of Angela since Dolphin Bay (especially loved her acting in 'Bump off Lover') and I think Ella is also a pretty good actress. Ella acted really well in 'The Rose'. Thot she had good chemistry with Huang ZhiWei and especially Joe Cheng.

More importantly, I started admiring Angela's acting skills but I am really beginning to like her singing too. Thanks for introducing her music to me in this thread.

Plus I reeeaaally think she looks cute dressed as a female cupid!!

Thanks judy and francesca for those pictures!! I'm serious, she is getting prettier and prettier by the day... I loved her outfit and her hair in those pictures.. so simple yet soo pretty! I really hope that she can find "Mr. Right" so that she can have someone to rest on at times. judy Agreed!!! I didn't even get the rivalry.. it was pretty one-sided if you ask me. Chun didn't get blamed. Angela got blamed for being paired up with Chun.. how is that her fault? Okay, moving on.I know.. people say that she's fake and they hate her personality.. but I think that's just cause she's a bit different.
