i think tsunami is a good and solid song and although i'm not a fan of all their music, i believe it's good to have bands like soler coming up. the hk music industry traditionally lacks variety in my opinion, it doesn't offer many different musical styles, but some artists do have their own style and stand out, like these two guys.

I absolutely agree with you. HK music industry mostly have popsingers singing canto pop, just a few stands out, like Soler, Yumiko, Nic Tse, Beyond and F.I.R.(Taiwanese though).

Last night Leo Ku held a concert inviting Justin Lo, Kary Ng, Soler, and Ivana Wong as the guests. When Leo was introducing Soler on stage, he described them as 'muscular' but he denied being jealous of them. Leo laughed and said, "I have my 'softness',they have their 'hardness'!"
Last night Leo sang his 10 minute song, 'Medley' and also sang other familiar songs. Leo said, "The fans sang along with me in every song, it feels very warm! Leo also sang Jacky Cheung and Aaron Kwok's hit songs. When singing Aaron's '唱這歌' he also imitated Aaron with his lifting foot movement, causing the whole crowd to applause.
During the encore moment, the DJ got the fans up close to the stage. The fans were pushing and shoving each other, causing the scene to be chaotic. Afterwards Leo was asked whether he was jealous that Soler had such strong muscles. He laughed, " I also have my 'muscles' (巨肌 gui gei) because my name is 'gui gei'. But all of us has our own good qualities."
The latest cool guys with talent in HK who can speak in various languages included cantonese, mandarin, english, spanish, french, italian, etc..

their sound is so different to the usual HK pop so i can imagine them producing cool music videos not on a tight budget like that of hk music videos
I have seen it.. I have seen hoi siu and the third song of the album.
It was in a cd when I bought the album... Saat wan was so cool. I like their wet look. Hehe.

The Chik Chak Music Awards will be held on January 1, 2006 and yesterday they announced the last top five places for the three awards. Yesterday they were also taking promotional pictures with everyone.
'My Favorite Female Singer' top five includes: Joey Yung, Denise Hocc, Miriam Yeung, Fiona Sit, and Janice Vidal. In the promotional photos, Joey and Miriam are in the center, indicating that it is an intense fight between them two.
'My Favorite Male Singer' top five includes: Leo Ku, Hacken Lee, Jan Lam, Chet Lam, and Eason Chan. Out of all of them, Hacken is the most 'special'. He hasn't have a live concert and it was also rumored that he had disagreements with the company. This year being able to be in the top five really seems like the results will be 'reversed'.
The Favorite Group top five goes to Grasshoppers, Twins, at17, I Love You Boyz, and Soler.

The first time i saw them on TV was when the artists were celebrating TVB's 38th birthday. They seem to sing really good in English. At first I thought they might be half asian or sumthin but it's so cool that they are not and that they can speak chinese so well. Better than most people i know.
