I now really love to watch Korean telenovelas and movies. However, since I am not Korean, I would like to know who are widely considered to be the Top 10 Korean Male and Female Stars? Also, who are the most awarded? Who are considered to be the Most Handsome Male Stars and the Most Beautiful Female Stars?

Is there a site where Korean movie and TV awards are listed?

I am not from Korea but I do love to watch Korean movies and drama series.

well...for mine it would definitely have to be Jang Dong Gun, Won Bin, Song Hae Gyo, Chae Rim and that's it for now...lolz...I like Jang Dong Gun and Won Bin because they are just soooo hot and I love their characters in the series that they are in....and i like Song Hae Gyo because she is really good at acting and i like Chae Rim because she is just so pretty and adorable and I loved her in All About Eve...

I think (M) Jang Dong Gun, Bae Yong Jun, Park Shin Yang, (F) Kim Ha Neul, Chae Rim, Song Yun Ah, Lee Young Ae and Kim Jung Eun.
Those up coming topstars, I think are (M) Lee Dong Gun, Kangta, Kang Dong Won, Ji Sung and (F) Eugene.

I think it would be Kim Hee Seon and Won Bin. Won Bin is handsome and Kim Hee Seon is also very beautiful. Her latest movie is coming up, The Myth, she acted in the movie with famous star, Jacky Chan. Hope to see her performance in The Myth.

well...in my opinion...most handsome male star i have 2 choices...Jang Dong Gun and Won Bin...and the 2 most beautiful stars would be Song Hae Gyo and Chae Rim...lolz...sorry...cant choose between them...lolz...

I don't live in Korea, but I mainly watch Korean series. But sadly, I can't remember all their names.

Top female actress: Song Hye Gyo -- she cries so naturally and she's just so photogenic. She plays her parts really well whether it's a comical series or something really dramatic like All In or Endless Love. She can portray all parts really well.

Top Male Actor: Won Bin -- well, I love Won Bin because I think he's just so handsome. But he cried naturally as well in Endless Love. I haven't watched him in anything else, but I liked all his expressions. You can see his emotions from watching his eyes. Also, the second leading actor in All About Eve. He was really good as well. He also starred in Glass Slippers as the main character.

Top male stars for me are : RAIN / Jo in sung / Bae Young Jun / Su Ji Sup

well i believe there's alotta new actors/actresses and singers being developed.
possibly b'cos of the "korean wave". there's more and more korean addicts out there recently and expecially the korean dramas and music is becoming so so SO popular.

some of my favourites are:

da guys
- rain/bi ; he stars in full house and sang doo lets go to school. also a great singer.
- min woo, jun jin, eric, hyesung, andy, dongwan; band shinhwa. he's pretty popular in the band but shinhwa is a band bonded by friendship. they are the best band i've ever seen not just b'cos of how good they sing but if u watch their little clips spread all over the net they are lyk 6 really good brothers ... except sometimes a bit childish and dumb :D hee hee but cute

- Song Hye Gyo ; she's getting pretty popular as well nowadays since she came out a while ago. (also starred along with bi/rain in full house :D)
- hyori lee ; LMOA she's lyk PERFECT ... i really lyk her but i'm not bi or les but she's just really good. a great singer. a great dancer and most of all she looks great. (possible due to plastic surgery ... iono ... but she's cool)

Of all the korean actors I've seen, somehow I'm not convinced by their pained/sad/tortured expressions. I wasn't a Bi fan, never heard of him before... I saw Full House & honestly, his acting comes across as credible and sincere.... I didn't even think he was handsome but now, I do find him very charming and manly.... So I did try to be as objective as I could...

Bi can confess his feelings for someone and have that hint of watery eyes without being too exaggerated to the point of being farcical.

SHG.... sigh... I've written a no. of postings about her so I'll just say this: no other female korean actress can replace her in my heart... enough said

I like most of the actors/actresses/singers that were already mentioned. I can't really decide on one person who is my favorite because all of them are SO talented in their own and different ways. But I can't believe everyone forgot the cute and adorable JAE HEE!! Hehe. =P I totally fell in LOVE with him when I saw, Sassy Girl, Chun Hyang. Mostly because of his funny faces. And Han Chae Young too! She's adorable as well. Didn't like her much in Autumn Fairy Tale (aka Endless Love) but she was REALLY good in Sassy Girl, Chun Hyang as well. Oh yeah.. I love Ha Ji Won too! =D
