I believe got sea monster, something even exactly like Kraken , big octopus, or something alike sea dinosaur.Cause our earth's ocean so deep, pressure too high, our latest technology not even to the deepest, but don't you think something lies inside? that we never ever see before..................

Yeah I believe in sea monsters. The ocean is so huge that there are lots of areas that still haven't been explored throughly. Either that, or they are a species of animal that we humans haven't seen before, thus people claim they are monsters.

i was watching unexplained mysteries on tv and they were talking about this sea monster that seems to be huge (forgot how big) but it has a tail like a dinosaur and they had videos and pictures of it and in the end i end up believeing that there are sea monsters

yeah i think there are probably really weird and big animals out there we haven't discovered yet, lol. as long as they aren't going to come on shore and start killing us all i'm not afraid of them. :]

Anyway, like I've always said, if you don't see it, it doesn't mean that they don't exists. It's almost like saying that Pluto doesn't exist just because you didn't see it.

Giant squid corpses have been found washed ashore so that's obviously real.

Big octopuses (octopai) have been found but not as big as giant squid but that's not to say they're not out there.

As for giant reptiles, or giant fish from prehistoric eras possibly.

I agree with what Deru is saying. Sea monsters probably do not exist but the deep ocean does have giant squids, octupi that are gigantic, or strange looking mammals.

I do believe in Sea monster deep under the sea....because anything is possible since during the TSUNAMI there were so many new sea creators thats been discover....

Well, I also believe in such creatures that they might exist in the deep sea as maybe those days when I was small, I used to read all those fiction books that are of type mystery. Therefore I would want to take a look at the real creatures.

After watching the Abyss, I think I will believe somewhere in the deep ocean there are many undiscovered species, but can you call it monsters?
Even at the earth there are many creatures that ppl have never encountered before. Like the Yeti, Bigfoot etc. And the big Lochness mystery, I always wanted to find out if there's a Nessy or not...

I agree, who really knows what's really down under. I mean it's so deep and technology hasn't advanced to that kind of level just yet. But there is proof that there are giant squids, and in the Central Park Museum in New York, which I forgot the name to, has a model of the largest squid that has ever been found, and at another museum that I've been to I've seen a clam larger than a human. Also there were reported sightings of the loch ness monster "nessie", if there are aliens, ghosts, dinosaurs, then what's the big deal about there being sea monster or gigantic sea creatures. I think there are weird sea creatures and / or gigantic sea creatures, and sea dinosaurs etc.

the ocean is way too deep...i think we only researched a very small part of it...maybe dinosaurs from the prehistoric days still live in the deep ocean.

I believe in maybe weird large creatures that haven't been discovered yet far deep in the ocean but not something like the size of a huge dinosaur. If humans had the technology, we could go even deeper into the ocean. I think humans have only been down to the ocean only a few % deep so much more is to be discovered in the future.

Well the ocean is covering nearly 70% of earth anyways, and the depths is simply remarkable. No one knows what dwells in the deep sea, we've just seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to deep sea creatures.....and look at how they look like......totally different from what u see daily. I wouldnt be surprised if they found a 60 foot long snail in the deep sea LOL. Since they have already found 60 foot long giant squids around who know what else

Once the technology gets more advanced and people could explore more deeper into the ocean, then we'll know. I picture some big giant fishies that have demented faces

when i read this topic i was thinking of lochness monster, and how they saw it evolved from some sort of dinosaur species but they can never find it but not quite possible beacuse can't they use like sonar to detect movements and objects

This is someone i still dont know or i will believe it or not. Just like Nessy the dinosaur in the Lake...there are some fussy picture was taken when ppls saw him, but how can we explain all the pictures are so fussy??? That dinosaur wasnt a sea dinosaur so why is he hiding in the deep of the lake that all question make me feel is still a mysery, Just like you said....the earth's ocean is so deep....till now we still cant find out. Well, i've been looking at discovery channels and they still amazes me with those new stuff they find from year to years , like there was once i saw on tv , that there are huge octupus larger than a boat that lives way down into the ocean and its got large legs which could suck on anything which is so damn scary LOL hahha imagine an octupus as huge as a fishing boat , they found a dead on on shore and they showed it on discorevy channel , and yeah , i believe !!! hehehe u nvr knwo wat they find tomolo under the deep ocean..

this is kool. i have read through all these comments and found this extremely interesting. i never thought about sea monsters...but wen some said about the deepness od the oceans, that got me thinking and starting to believe in it. but as long as its not coming up, i am ok with it...

yup, there are deffo sea creatures in the sea man has not seen yet....maybe bigger than whales, you dont know..but theer are definitly creatures that have not been seen because lately, as the world technology advance, they have been able to go deeper, and as they go deeper, they find new type of sea creature which are bizarre.

I believe in sea monsters. The ocean is so huge and deep that scientists can't go any deeper to find information. There are many strange creatures in the ocean, but we never really see them.

to tell you the truth, the ocean absolutely facinates me...even though im afraid of large bodies of water and i can't swim for the hell of me. but then seriously the ocean is really really deep and has a lot of caves and deep clifts...which is really scary to me lol cause i hate dark places and especailly enclosed...but then it never stopped me from watching the discovery channel about it though.

but then seriously diffrent kinds of species lives in diffrent depts and they can adapt to the depts during time...i do think way way way deep into the ocean there are sea creatures that are to be thought "extinct" or unique after adaptation and mutation in order to survive down there. yes like the giant octupus and the giant squids...those guys are unexplainabley HUGE and they live really really deep in the ocean. recently they have found by putting a machine with a camera mounted on it a fish that is so large, that they thought it was extinct, but then it ended up that it only adapted to the oceans ways and went deeper into the dark waters...nothing more and it recently resurfaced...they say its pretty big like the dinosar years that fish was around lol...so i believe them...

they even have it preserved and locked in for scientific unexplained species...i thought it was scary as hell...had a bloody head like a crocodile...but a body like a fish...just amazing...so yes i do believe in sea creatures in the deep which needs to be more research done with it, but i dont think they are "monsters" per say. you make them seem so brutal...

I'm sure that since the sea is so big there must be some extrodanarily large stuff in there... so there might be some type of mythical stuff down there...

that is cause the whale surfaces and they know that it exists....nothing wrong there...but then i think its mainly aimed at the ones that live deep in the bottom of the ocean...those are the "sea monsters" they are talking about cause they dont know what exist down there, they call them monsters until they surface. that is my take on it...

well i m not surprise that the earth has some new creature we havent seen before. But in the new about a week ago i read that this village women she went to work at 6 in the morning to pick fruits.her husband waited for her.but she didnt return at night so he went to search for her.he then saw a big snake who he suspects that it had alreadie ate his wife. he ran bak got some ppl with guns and hunt down the snake.when they cut the snake open his wife was in there. and the body was being digested alreadie....the snake was quite large big enough to swollow a human... prettie scarey stuff!

umm... if you do believe in "sea monsters", den shouldn't u call it sea creature. There's really nothing we can say about "aliens", "sea monsters", "ghost". Before we think of those, I think we have to think of ourselves. We, human, in the Universe is comparative to a dust. Even if we don't talk about the whole universe. Just alone on Earth, human is just a creature out of millions of creatures on Earth. In addition, it is proven that creatures in sea is plenty more kind than on land. And the data collected is just not deep down in the sea. So, we can expect couple more thousands or even millions undiscover. For aliens, Solar system is just a small part of the Universe and is discovered that there is other places around the milky way that looks like our Solar system. Until we can get out of our Solar system, we don't know the answer. Now think, if we can't get out of ours, do you think "aliens" can? There's a possiblity, but there's another possibility that it still a bug or even just bacteria. Ghost, heh... first solve what's mean by reality. If a chair is something you sit on, everything is a chair.

many new species have been found every year, so scientifically there is a possibilities that these kind of creature might exist, so yes I do believe.
